Take a right. Not too far after this you hit Alexandros. There’s a left. Go down and after a few twists and turns you’ll end up there. If you hit Melevio on your left you’ve gone too far. If Melevio is on your right it’s just after Alexandros on your right.

There’s a different view but not as good further along, going towards to castle. You’ll see White Donkey on your right and Minerali on your left. Take the path on the left here.

Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale and welcome to a brand new series of Santorini vlogs!!! I cannot wait to take you to Santorini with us!! Truly the most stunning place I've ever been too! Santorini, Greece has always been on my bucket list so it was amazing to get to go!

We start off at Manchester airport. We fly via TUI straight to Thira airport. The flight was about 4 hours and I let you know how much it was. We land thira and get a private transfer (all via hotels.com) to our hotel. We are staying at Loizos Stylish Residences in Thira for the first 3 nights of this trip. It was a very good price and as you can see, it's very good value for money! I give you a room tour and show you the pool etc.
By the time we land it is late so we go for a walk around at night and eat at one of the restaurants on the cliff. We ate at Remvi Restaurant and had lots of traditional greek food such as Saganaki, tomato balls and meatballs.

The next day we walk the short walk from our hotel to Thira centre and see it for the first time in the daylight, absolutely stunning! So picturesque. We walk the small streets and climb up for some views of Thira. We stop off for some coffee at the top.
We then find the most stunning blue dome in Thira - the blessed Virgin Mary Catholic church which is the most photographed church in Santorini. I show you how to get to the blue dome. It truly is spectacular. Next I show you the bus stop as we wanted to check it our ready for our day trip to Oia the next day. We then share a gyro for lunch.
I show you some of the beautiful sites of Santorini - all the white buildings, beautiful flowers, blue domes etc. We head back to the hotel pool to relax.
I show you the restaurant we booked for the sunset (you need to book as they are very busy for the famous Santorini Sunset!) We eat at Rastoni Concept and have the best view of the sunset. I show you the sunset and our dinner. We head for some baklava for dessert and go back to the hotel.

Santorini, Greece is one of the best islands to visit. We spent a week in Santorini and put together the best things to do in this video. We hope these tips help you on your own trip to Santorini, Greece so you can have an unforgettable experience! Here are the 8 best things to do in Santorini:

8. Visit Pyrgos.
Pyrgos is the former capital of Santorini and the best-preserved medieval settlement on the island. It is located about seven kilometers south of Fira, but feels much further away as there aren’t as many tourists in the area.

7. Red Beach
This is arguably the most famous and beautiful beach of Santorini and is located in the area of the ancient site of Akrotiri. Red Beach owes its name to the original colors of the steep cliffs created from the volcanic lava.

6. Fira is the beautiful capital of the island. It’s located on the western edge of Santorini and has a combination of natural beauty, social life, night life, and shopping.

5. Akrotiri is one of the most interesting places to visit in Greece. Being a thriving community from 4000 to 2000 B.C., this town is now covered in ash following a volcanic eruption on the island in about 1600 BC. It is also referred to as the ‘Greek Pompei’ and is extremely well preserved.

4. The 4th best thing to do in Santorini is to visit a winery. Because of its unique climate and the mineral content of its volcanic soil, Santorini produces arguably the best wine in Greece.

Santorini is a natural wonder of the world. It's a world famous volcano.
In the video Vishal and I have covered why Santorini is the best Greek island and one of the top travel destinations in the world.

Our Suggestions
Best place to stay, and for shopping, nightlife and public transportation - Thira
Hotel -
Public Transport - There are KTEL bus routes from Fira (the capital city) to many different destinations around the main island. Fares range between 2-3 euros.

Day 1
Thira -Thira is the capital of Santorini and the largest town on the island. The houses of Fira are typically Cycladic and cubic-shaped, with low ceilings, whitewashed walls and blue-painted details. Fira is among the best places for a stay, as it offers luxurious facilities, a vivid nightlife, high-caliber food and convenient public transportation.
Imerovigli -
Skaros Rock Hike - Skaros is a rocky headland located in front of the village of Imerovigli. In the earlier days, a majestic castle was located here Unfortunately, the castle was completely ruined during an earthquake in the 19th century.

Day 2
Red Beach -
Oia -Oia is the most visited village in Santorini . It has become famous all around the world for numerous charming houses with a traditional style of architecture,the famous blue-domed churches and other chapels, as well as several lovely restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, alleys and amazing hotels, although the top thing in Oil is known for is its magical sunset. Hundreds of people gather every evening to watch the sun setting above the Aegean Sea and capture the most beautiful sunset in Greece.

Day 3
Hot Spring and Volcano boat tour - Participate in one of the daily cruises for a chance to walk on solid black lava above the steaming main crater of the volcano and other openings bursting with sulfur steam. Palea Kameni also has hot springs that can be reached by boat and are widely known for their health benefits. They can be approached by boat and many boat tours and cruises include a stop there so that the visitors can jump in and enjoy the hot water for a while.
There are two operating routes to select from:
Morning tour: 11:00 - 14:00
Evening Tour: 14:00 - 17:00
Perissa beach - It is a volcanic beach with unique characteristics, offering an amazing landscape to the visitors.

There is just one thing we needed to know when looking for fun things to do in Santorini - How to find the blue domes in Oia Santorini.

In all the photos you see of Santorini, 90% of them seem to show 3 blue domes against the brilliant sea backdrop. These blue domes are the symbol of Santorini. They are the postcard shot.

So we set out on a mission, to find these domes and to get the exact angle you see in all the postcard photos. This was in fact the most fun of all things to do in Santorini.
