Venice, Italy ???????? | July 2022 - 4K/60fps HDR Walking Tour

???? ????Subscribe to Tourister ➡️

Venice is one of the world's most beautiful cities. It is made up of over a hundred islands in a lagoon in the northern Adriatic Sea. Venice is a cultural and tourist destination known for its museums, architecture, cityscape, and art world.
Only around one-fourth of Venice's 280 000 inhabitants live in the city's historical center. The remainder reside on the mainland. Boats that travel up and down the city's many canals are the primary mode of transportation between the islands. The Canale Grande, which runs through the heart of Venice, is the main waterway. The islands are linked by hundreds of bridges. Motorboats have largely replaced the historic gondolas, which are now only used for sightseeing tours. People either walk or take so-called waterbuses to get around the islands.
The Piazza San Marco, also known as Saint Mark's Square, is the heart of Venice. The piazza's main attractions are the city's most famous church, San Marco Basilica, and the Doge's Palace, which served as the residence of Venice's rulers for hundreds of years. The square is a popular tourist destination that is surrounded by cafes and vendors.

Lido, a 10-kilometer-long sandy island east of the historic center on the lagoon's rim, attracts thousands of beachgoers during the summer months. The Venice Film Festival is one of the city's major annual film events.

Venice has faced numerous challenges as a result of its sea-level location and global warming. The Mediterranean town has been regularly flooded by incoming tides over the centuries.

From November to February, they cause acqua alta, which causes sea levels to rise up to 1.5 meters and cover many of Venice's famous areas. To provide pedestrians with a path to walk, wooden walkways must be built. Many buildings' foundations have been damaged by seawater, necessitating ongoing repairs. Water seeps into the buildings, destroying the walls and the priceless frescoes. Industries and tourism have steadily reduced ground water levels in Venice, making building foundations unstable.

The islands are sinking at an alarming rate of 3 to 4 mm per year. City planners are working on building a series of steel gates that will hopefully prevent seawater from entering the lagoon.

One day in Venice: 360° Virtual Tour with Voice Over

Venice is definitely one-of-a-kind. Where else would you find a city on the water? Its location gives it a unique and a bit mysterious character. And it is also very romantic due to the ever-present bridges and churches. The city centre makes you feel like a time traveller travelling back in time to the époque of Casanova - probably the very best-known citizen of Venice. If you’re lucky enough to visit the city during the carnivals, you will be up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And don’t forget to stop by in one of the many restaurants to taste the exquisite local cuisine.

The Carnival Of Venice - Italy Attractions - Travel & Discover

It's said that the Carnival of Venice was started from a victory of the Venice Republic against the Patriarch of Aquileia, Ulrico di Treven in the year 1162. In the honour of this victory, the people started to dance and gather in San Marco Square. Apparently, this festival started on that period and became official in the Renaissance. In the seventeenth century, the baroque carnival was a way to save the prestigious image of Venice in the world. It was very famous during the eighteenth century. It encouraged licence and pleasure, but it was also used to protect Venetians from present and future anguish.

Piazza San Marco | Venice Italy 360°

#venedig #Venice #touristattraction #sony #sonyalpha #youtube #4K #italien #360°

Piazza San Marco (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpjattsa sam ˈmarko]; Venetian: Piasa San Marco), often known in English as St Mark's Square, is the principal public square of Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as la Piazza (the Square). All other urban spaces in the city (except the Piazzetta and the Piazzale Roma) are called campi (fields). The Piazzetta (little Piazza/Square) is an extension of the Piazza towards San Marco basin in its south east corner. The two spaces together form the social, religious and political centre of Venice and are commonly considered together.

Don't forget that this is 360 video: you can change the angle of view.

In winter the Lake is covered with ice 1-2 meters thick. During very cold times giant cracks appear in the ice. They can be up to 30 km long and 3 meters wide. Apart from giant cracks, the Lake is covered with beautiful and very diverse small cracks. The cliffs on the banks grow icicles of unbelievable size. Baikal ice attracts tourists from all over the world.

Nowadays you need extraordinary computer power for watching 8K 360° videos. If you have troubles with watching such videos, choose 4K or HD quality in the settings of your YouTube player. Also here is the answer for a frequently asked question about true resolution of an 8K 360° video. Unlike standard videos, in a 360° video you can see only a part of original image (approximately 30 degrees out of 360). As result, the real resolution of the part you can see isn't bigger than 1.3K.

YouTube does not support 12K 360 video yet, so the video was down-sampled from 12K to 8K. But still you need an extraordinary computer power for watching 8K 360° videos.

Florence, Italy ???????? - VR 360° 4K Immersive Walking Tour

Why is Italy so beautiful? Many people around the world wonder why Italy is so beautiful. The answer is on every street corner in any of Italy's cities. It's only when you walk around Florence that you realize why Italy is such a beautiful country.

Florence in Italy is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Where even the gardens, monuments, buildings, and streets are, in many cases, veritable masterpieces. Walking down the streets of Florence is like walking through the halls of a big open air museum. However, even if the outdoors has so much to offer, don’t forget that Florence is home to some of the most important ‘indoor museums’ in the world! The Uffizi museum, for example, is famous all around the globe (the ‘Primavera del Botticelli’ alone is worth a visit to the city) and the Galleria dell’Accademia has a wonderful gallery of statues, among them the Michelangelo’s world-celebrated David, among many more! Remember, Florence city center is listed as World Heritage site by UNESCO. So don't ask a Florentine citizen how far is Tuscany from Florence? because Florence is Tuscany in the world.

This video was recorded in October of 2022.
