Things NOT to DO in GERMANY // Advice from a Brit about how to love living in Germany

Germany has some strange and also strict rules and laws that you need to follow when visiting, moving, or just traveling there. If you are interested in knowing some things that you should not do in Germany, then this is the video for you.

This video talks about some of the most important things not to do in Germany during your visit.

Some of the laws that Germany have, go back to the 1940s and you should take really seriously, otherwise, you will have a culture shock and quickly be getting a fine from either the police or the civil authorities (Ordnungsamt).

Some other rules that have been agreed upon that you must abide by when living here have originated from the European Union, meaning that the German government must implement the laws because of being a part of it.

Life here in the center of Europe is really nice, just because the system here is strict, does not mean that they do not have nice things that you can do.

As long as you recycle all of your products, cross the street using the pedestrian crossing, also make sure that you wait for the green man at the traffic light to be displayed, and most importantly do not sing the first line of the national anthem, you will be positively fine.

Once you have moved to Germany, you will find that the way of life is very easy and that the Volk are very kind, and also that they have some strange habits, at different times of the year. One thing that German people know how to do is to make beer festivals, and also ones that have strict laws too about how they are required to brew their beer and also which ones are allowed to be sold at the festivals.

I have been living in Germany for more than 20 years now and love it here.

I’m excited to share with you about the 16 Things I Loved About STUDYING IN GERMANY

There are many great things about studying in Germany. Besides the well-known fact that tuition costs nothing or close to nothing for many degrees, the Altstadt or old town, the relatively low cost of living, and festivals such as the Oktoberfest and Karneval make studying in Germany an unforgettable experience.

In case you’re thinking about whether or not to study in Germany, then hopefully watching this video you will help you to make up your mind.

Two things not to do in Germany:

1. Don't make an illegal u-turn or take any shortcuts :).

2. Undercover Officers - Make sure that you don't forget to immediately identify yourselves :).

Disclaimer- I appreciate and respect all law enforcement officers all over the world. The officers were doing their job and had every right to pull me over :).
