Bangkok to Tehran on Mahan Air - I had been wanting to visit Iran for many years, and it was a long process to finally get my visa and documents ready and prepared to finally visit. We flew directly from Bangkok to Tehran on Mahan Air, the best Iran Airline, and they surprised me with the biggest meal I’ve ever had on an airplane. #Iran #AirplaneFood #Airlines

BANGKOK - LOS ANGELES - This is my first time traveling internationally on an airplane since before the pandemic began. We flew from Bangkok to Narita to Los Angeles on ANA (major Japan airlines) Business Class. So in this video I’ll give you a full flight review and tour, and mainly show you all the amazing Japanese food on the flights.
Our first flight was from Bangkok to Narita, Japan and it took about 5 hours. We were served an amazing Japanese food, more like a kaiseki meal. When I woke up from a nap, they came around and took our snack order - and they had a few things on their menu that you could order at any time. Something I was desperate to order was their Ippudo Ramen, a very well known Japanese ramen brand. I’m happy to report the ramen was the best sky ramen I’ve ever had in my life, amazing.
One the second flight, it was from Bangkok to Los Angeles, USA and we were first served dinner. Dinner was a multicourse amazing kaiseki Japanese food meal, including appetizers, and the amazing main course of sukiyaki and salt cured mackerel. Then we were served breakfast, again a delicious Japanese food.
Food on ANA business class was fantastic, service was outstanding, and really great flights. It’s an honor to have an opportunity to travel at this time, and to travel on business class on ANA.

A B747-300 passenger aircraft is back in the sky flying after spending over 5 years in maintenance! Can you believe it? Here is the story:
On 15th October 2015, one of their B747-300s, EP-MNE, was involved in an incident on flight 1095 from Tehran to Bandar Abbas
While climbing through 7500 feet, the no.3 GE CF6-50E2 engine suffered an uncontained failure. Some parts of the engine detached and struck engine no. 4, as well as damaging the aircraft structure. An emergency landing was declared. The plane was able to land safely and was carrying 441 passengers and crew.
Surprisingly, this 747-300 EP-MNE didn't get written off! Mahan Air put in 5 years of work in maintenance on her and she recently completed a heavy C-check.
They managed to transfer 2 engines from a retired sister ship, EP-MND, and got this B747-300 back flying in the sky once again. The Mahan Air B747-300 is now the world's last and oldest B747 passenger currently flying.
I flew on the Mahan Air B747-300 domestically in Iran a few years ago. I was very lucky to fly on the upper deck of this 747 classic. This video shows my flight experience on now the world’s oldest and last active Passenger B747, from Tehran to Mashhad.
With most 747’s having been retired and killed off by the pandemic, it is definitely good news to see a B747-300 back in the sky flying.

DUBAI, UAE - Welcome to Dubai! Well actually today we’re flying from Los Angeles directly to Dubai on Emirates Business Class. And I’m going to show you all the food and even the amazing cocktail bar on the airplane - that was a first for me!
So we set off from Los Angeles in the middle of the afternoon, everything went smooth. On our flight we had a choice of a variety of meals, and I chose the Middle Eastern / Emirati food option. First was a mezze starter, and then came the giant shrimp machboos, a traditional Arabian Gulf dish of rice and dried lemons and spices, and without a doubt the biggest shrimp / prawns I’ve ever had on an airplane.
One of the unique features of flying on an A380 on Emirates Business class is that they have a cocktail bar at the back of the airplane where you can order drinks and food at any time!

Economy Plane Food Has Changed… What We Ate ????????✈️????????
I see many first & business-class food reviews, so here's what we ate in economy on our 19-hour flight from India to New Zealand.
Because we're flying from India, dinner is Chicken Saagwala. The vegetables look dead inside. The bread, I can’t work out what it is. It’s not Indian. The spinach was bland. It's hard to impress me with Indian food because I'm used to eating fresh spinach dishes from my wife's farm.
There were no crackers, cheese, bun, or butter. Meals have really been downsized these days, but economy fares have doubled.
And no expense has been spared on Qantas. Dessert was literally a 25-cent saffron ice cream. Except there's no actual saffron in it, it's artificially flavoured. Mmmmm chemicals.
Breakfast hit the spot, though, omelette and sausages. No complaints except for a black thing in my tea.
I paid extra for the fastest flight, but our departure flight was delayed, so we missed the connecting flight. Then that flight was delayed too, so money was wasted there.
The next meal was dinner again. Our seat was at the back of the plane, so we had the only option left, Lamb Ragu. It was great, though. Soft pasta, and Ozzie lamb.
You can see how small meals have become. They're called Dinner Boxes now.
