Street Food in Iran!! UNSEEN IRANIAN FOOD + Market Tour in Rasht, Iran!

????Follow Mr. Taster:
????Iran Airlines Food:
????T-shirts and caps:

RASHT, IRAN - Located in the northern part of Iran, along the Caspian Sea, Rasht is a green and rainy city - and it just happen to rain the entire time we were in Rasht! It also happens to be known for food - if you come to Iran and love food, you don’t want to miss Rasht. In this Iranian food tour, we’ll explore the unique dishes of Rasht, a family cooked local meal, and a vibrant market. #Iran #IranianFood #streetfood

Local Gilan Food Meal - We drove from Tehran straight to our first restaurant, located just outside the city of Rasht. It was a treat to have a local family prepare for us some of the Gilan food specialities. They made a wild bird, along with duck, and a number of different stews, and a number of different fried fish from the Caspian Sea. The use of walnut oil and sour pomegranate paste to flavor dishes, was entirely unique for me, and truly outstanding.

Market at Rasht - Next we headed over to the vibrant market of Rasht where we sampled a number of Iraninan street food dishes including a very unique rice pancake filled with walnuts, and a surprise skewer of lamb intestines roasted with blow torch.

Iranian Kebabs - Kebabs are probably the most well known Iranian food in all of Iran, and Rasht is known for their local style - especially sour kebabs - marinated in sour pomegranate paste. All the kebabs were delicious, but probably my favorite was the ultra rich and oily minced meat kebab that was then dunked into the melted lamb fat oil pan to soak up all the flavor. That’s what you want to be eating at 3 am in the morning.

It was an amazing day in Rasht, Iran, and now I know exactly why they call Rasht an Iranian food capital of Iran!

Thank you also to Ghasr Setareh ( for arranging our trip to Iran.

ABOUT
Hey, I’m Flo. Follow me on my trip around the world as I explore different countries and cultures. Contrary to usual travel, I always try to get to know the locals in the country instead of just doing the tourist route. This means using the same transport the locals use, eating food the locals eat and hanging out with locals to really understand their country and way of life.

Undiscovered IRANIAN STREET FOOD Tour!! | Ancient Bazaar of Tabriz, Iran!

????Follow Mr. Taster:

????T-shirts and caps:

TABRIZ, IRAN - One of my favorite cities we visited during our trip to Iran, was Tabriz, located in Northern Iran. The food, people, culture, and ancient bazaar were all the highlights. In this video, we take you on a Iranian street food tour of the ancient bazaar of Tabriz. #Iran #Tabriz #streetfood

Bazaar of Tabriz - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East, it’s also one of the best preserved and most authentic. What was amazing to me is how it’s still in full functioning use, still used in much of the same exact way as its been used for hundreds of years. There are sections of the bazaar for everything - from spices and food, clothes and woodwork. But one of the most fascinating parts of the bazaar is the carpets bazaar, where you’ll find some of the best hand made Persian carpets in the world. Tabriz is known around the world for its exquisite carpet making.

Tabriz Central Mosque - Bazaar of Tabriz - In addition to the amazing Iranian food, we also visited the Tabriz Central Mosque.

Haj Ali Kebab - One of the most famous and best restaurants in Tabriz is Haj Ali Kebab, where you’ll find some of the best kebabs in Tabriz. The kebabs were so incredibly juicy, especially with Persian style butter rice, and some roasted tomatoes and sumac. It was a wonderful lunch within the ancient bazaar.

Shazdeh Restaurant - Along with plenty of street food snacks, our final Iranian food meal at the bazaar was at Shazdeh Restaurant, and one dish you can’t miss are the kufta Tabrizi, one of the ultimate dishes of Tabriz.

It was an amazing day, and a throwback in time, learning about and discovering the ancient bazaar of Tabriz, Iran!

Thank you to Ghasr Setareh ( for arranging our trip to Iran.

I ate 48 YEARS-OLD GARLIC!! Unbelievable Iranian Village Food in Masuleh, Iran!

MASULEH, IRAN - Located in Gilan province, high within the mountains, it’s a lush green area of Iran, and home to some of the most unique Iranian food you’ll find. The village itself has an extremely unique architectural style. We were invited to a local home where an amazing family cooked us local Gilan Iranian food, including lots of walnuts and pomegranate. It was an outstanding meal and experience. #Masuleh #Iran #IranianFood

Zeytoon Parvardeh - One of the dishes, or condiments that’s common in this area of Iran, is olies, mixed with walnut paste, pomegranate paste, and pomegranate juice. Along with garlic and some sliced herbs, it was probably my favorite olive dish I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Another ingredient I tasted for the first time is, hogweed - Persian hogweed - a very unique tasting seasoning.

As the amazing Iranian food continued to cook, we took a walk around Masuleh village, had some tea and some dizi (stew of lamb and chickpeas), and then headed back to the house for one of the most amazing meals I had during my trip to Iran. The food was spectacular, and it was a meal of trying so many different unique dishes and flavor combinations that I had never experienced before.

Unseen TRANSYLVANIA VILLAGE FOOD + Best LAMB Stew in Romania!!

????Romanian medieval BBQ:
????T-shirts and caps:

Village Food and Life in Transylvania, Romania - We had an amazingly special opportunity to spend a day in a local village in Transylvania, meeting amazing people, and learning about the delicious local food and life in Transylvania. #Transylvania #RomanianFood

Thank you to Caroline from Mihai Eminescu Trust for hosting us and for organising this experience.

Rooster soup and home cooked banquet - The main main was a home cooked rooster soup and banquet feast put on by an amazing community of women from this small, yet huge hearted, village in Transylvania. The food was cooked with so much love, and you could taste it in every bite.

Orchard’s Crunchy Pork - After riding a horse carriage to the top of a hill to get a view of the village and see the apple orchards, we enjoyed a Romanian Transylvanian picnic that included grilled pork fat skin.

Shepherd’s Lamb Stew and Polenta - This special shepherd’s lamb stew and polenta was incredible, the lamb fell off the bone with tenderness, and the polenta was rich and cheesy.

It was such an incredible day of Romanian food and learning about this incredible village in Transylvania.

Also, thank you to Nassim ( and Cristian ( for setting up this incredible trip.

Ferma Dacilor:

This was the ultimate Romanian medieval BBQ meat feast. Huge thank you to Nassim ( and Cristian ( for setting up this incredible trip. #Romania #RomaniaFood #bbq

Meat Paradise in Romania at Ferma Dacilor ( - During my trip to Romania, we went to a place called Ferma Dacilor, one of the most unique and special meals and food experiences of my trip to Romania. The entire concept is straight farm to table, where nearly everything they serve, from the meat to the vegetables and seasoning, are grown, produced, and aged, on location at the farm.

Medieval BBQ Cooking - Not only is the food fresh and local, but they strive to cook things in the ancient way, they way their ancestors cooked - over fire, rustic, iron, and huge portions of Romanian food.

Along with the 110 KG pig they roasted whole, one of the highlights for me was trying Mangalica pig, a type of hairy pig that almost looks like a sheep. The fat is said to be quite healthy, with little to no cholesterol. The meat was fatty and delicious.

Huge thank you to Cornelo and his entire family for hosting us and for making our time at Ferma Dacilor so memorable. One of the best Romanian food experiences!

What's Flying Pan Am B747 Like? The Pan Am Experience

What's flying Pan Am B747 in the 1970s like?

In Los Angeles, you can re-live the magic of flying onboard a luxurious Pan Am B747 at Air Hollywood.

I arrived at the 1970 airport terminal to check in on my Pan Am Experience Flight. Retro dressed Pan Am stewardesses offered cocktail, prop cigarette and magazine. They served classic dishes such as caviar and chateaubriand exactly what Pan Am served in the 70s. The menu, seat cover, china served was original Pan Am items.

During the flight, there are fashion shows with flight attendants dressed in all Pan Am uniforms over the years and assorted international airlines uniform. It was great retro fun and the memories linger on my mind for days!

In early spring, the island's climate is cool and humid, with relatively low temperatures, so travel conditions can be favorable; in summer the weather is warm and hot days are in Kish, especially if you do not tolerate heat, especially In July and August we do not recommend traveling. But be aware that the facilities on the island make it possible to surf the markets and public places for a long time on the hottest days of the year.

Autumn and winter seasons
The two seasons of autumn and winter are great for traveling to Kish and you'll find countless travelers staying in Kish at this time. CASPIAN SEA, IRAN - The black caviar from the Beluga sturgeon of the Caspian Sea is among the world’s most prized delicacies, and Iran is home to some of the best caviar in the world. We had the privilege to visit a caviar fishery, where they opened a beluga sturgeon, removed the black caviar, and processed it. It was a learning experience about one of Iran’s most important delicacies. #Iran #Caviar #PersianFood

Dr. Caviar - After removing the sturgeon caviar, the caviar was handled very delicately. Dr. Caviar, washed it, and then salted it. We had a chance to try the caviar fresh before being salted, and it was so pure. After salting, he then stirred the caviar around, and put it into tins to remove as much water as possible. We enjoyed fresh caviar and crayfish for lunch.

Ahmad Kebab, Rasht, Iran - For dinner we headed to Ahmad Kebab, one of the most legendary kebab restaurants in Rasht. Along with bull hump, sour “pomegranate” kebabs, and koobideh - ground meat kebabs, the highlight was fresh sturgeon kebabs. We took a big piece of the sturgeon from the morning to make beluga sturgeon kebabs. They were some of the most juicy and tender fish kebabs I’ve ever had in my life.
