First on our list is exploring the city's beautiful parks and gardens. Christchurch is often referred to as the Garden City for its stunning green spaces. You can visit the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, which is home to a wide variety of plant species and beautiful gardens. You can also take a stroll in Hagley Park, which is the largest urban park in Christchurch and is home to sports fields, a golf course, and a beautiful lake.
For a taste of Christchurch's cultural scene, visit the Canterbury Museum. The museum is home to a wide range of exhibits, including Maori artifacts, Antarctic exploration artifacts, and exhibits on the history of Canterbury.
