How I'm REALLY doing after the breakup

My 5.5-year relationship recently ended and this is how I'm doing in Mexico post-breakup.
► Rocket Spanish is on sale:

A few videos ago, Jordan and I shared the unfortunate news that we broke up after being together for 5.5 years. This came as a shock to many people and honestly, we never hoped it would come to this.

WHY WE BROKE UP:

This is my first solo video since then and I decided to share:
- How I'm doing after the breakup
- What is my life like now as a single woman in Mexico
- What videos will I be releasing in the future
- How I'm dealing with all the comments, DMs, texts, emails, etc.
- My side channel, MaddieGold:

Putrajaya is Malaysia's modern city, built in the 1990s to become the new administrative capital. Among the top things to do in Putrajaya, you should visit Majid Putra (Putra Mosque) and the main square in town, Dataran Putra. The view from Ayer@8 is also worth the trip. ► WHO AM I?

Short answer: I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ;-)

3 Days in Boston, MASSACHUSETTS - Day 1: history and parks

Boston, Massachusetts is famous for its history and parks. As the most important city in New England, there are so many things to do in Boston that when you travel here you'll be amazed. We start with the Freedom Trail and visit the Boston Common, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, and the Massachusetts State House. We then go enjoy Beacon Hill, a couple of nearby parks, and end up with a lobster roll on the famous Newbury Street.

Somewhere along the day, a real Rolling Stone ends up in the scene, but there's no mention in the video. Can you spot him? ????

The Road to Hana in Maui, HAWAII - 10 unique stops | Detailed guide

The Road to Hana is the #1 road trip in Hawaii. A must when you're in Maui. And it's all about the journey, as there are so many beautiful stops along the drive. No hurry to reach Hana! You see so many waterfalls! Amazing! ???? Actually, there are more stops along the way than you can actually cover in one day, so you'll have to choose which ones to see. You can also overnight in east Maui and have a second chance to enjoy more attractions.

This video is a detailed guide to help you prepare for the road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii. Along the vlog, you'll see the 10 stops we chose for our day trip, and in the end, some more specific tips about things we learned. One thing I forgot to mention there: Is the road to Hana dangerous? Not during the day, as people tend to drive carefully given the narrow road. At night I'd avoid.

Maui is a beautiful island in Hawaii (actually the second-largest, only behind Hawaii island) and is the 17th largest in the United States. It's quieter and more relaxed compared to Oahu, also with fewer tourists. Nature here is wild and untouched in many places.

And the Hana highway is certainly among the most scenic roads in the USA!

BANGKOK, Thailand: things to do and to know | Tourism Thailand vlog 1

Bangkok, Thailand is the most visited city in the world, and in this series, I'll show you all about Bangkok: things to do, where to go, what you need to know, and even the scams in tourism. Thailand is a wonderful country, but you always need to be aware of prices and opening hours of the attractions before leaving the hotel. In this first video, you'll see Lumphini Park (or Lumpini), the beautiful Wat Saket temple (also known as Golden Mount/Golden Mountain), the Chao Phraya river and Icon Siam, a new and very unique mall.

► Bookmark this playlist, as in the next vlogs, more things to do in Bangkok:
► Here's the floating market video I mentioned in the vlog: (look at my baby face in my first trip to Thailand ????????)

The original video is in English, this is an automatic translation to help you watch in your own language. There are subtitles as well, you can activate them by typing C (desktop) or clicking the video, then at settings at the top of the screen (mobile).

This entire trip to Thailand was before the lockdown. Please note that, at the moment, Thailand is closed to international visitors. But this series will be a great guide for when you can travel to Thailand again.

► WHO AM I?

I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ????

Grand Tetons DO NOT WATCH

Hey you guys! Thanks for joining me on another journey. Today we are at Jackson Hole, Wyoming. *THIS IS THE SAME VIDEO AS THE AMAZING GRAND TETONS, BUT I INCLUDED MORE BANTER & SHENANIGANS WITH MY BUDDY, IZZY IN THIS ONE* I convinced him to jump up at the Grand Teton National Park sign so I could get some slo-mo of his awesome girth moving up and down--haha. The Grand Tetons are just a little bit south of Yellowstone National Park, so if are heading to Yellowstone, add the Tetons to your trip--it's definitely worth it. The national parks pass costs about the same as what you would pay for those two parks, so it's a good deal to get the pass. If you are 62 & over, you can get the golden life pass. Izzy was being a goof, and pretending to take a dump in the bush where we stopped to look over the majestic mountain peaks, ha! We took a boat across Jenny Lake to do some trailblazing. The guide on the boat let us know that we were going to be entering bear & moose country, so to give them their space. We headed up the Hidden Falls Trail after getting off the boat across the lake. We found an awesome sitting area to take a break and ponder life. I hope all of you will get off the couch, so to speak, and visit a national park! Izzy 'interviewed' me about bleeding while creating my vlog episodes; I go to great lengths to get the very best shots! ;-) Izzy really wanted to cross a couple of different felled trees across the falls. He gave it a start and I told him not to die. But then I told him not to do it, and he said thanks for talking him back down. He mocked me about having excitement in my vlogs and doing whatever it takes, ha.I remind you all in my audience about my adventure challenge; go out this weekend and take some video/pictures and then I'll pick the best one and put it in my next video. I share my travel tip (again) about not buying a bear bell--the bear spray is a much better way to go, so then you might have a chance of actually seeing the animals in nature. Izzy took it upon himself to mock me again. We stopped at Inspiration Point which looks out over Jenny Lake. Izzy shared that in some ways, he likes the Tetons better than Yellowstone. It's only about $15 to ride the boat back & forth across Jenny Lake. On our way back, we stopped at the Cokeville sign so Izzy could have a Coke and a smile in front of it, haha! We also stopped at the Mormon settlement at Mormon Row just outside Teton National Park to take in the amazing scenery with the very cool old structures. Thank you for watching my video all the way to the end! :-D

Why My Subscribers Are Tanking | Small YouTuber Analytics April 2021

In this video I share my small YouTuber analytics, this will be part of a monthly series where I share my analytics as a small YouTuber each month and discuss them with you to see what is working and what isn't, and how we can improve upon my analytics and the steps I will be taking as a small YouTuber to get YouTube to recommend my videos through its algorithm.

As background, I started as a YouTuber in 2015 and gained around 3,300 subscribers before I stopped publishing new content to this channel in 2017, a couple of videos even gained around 200 thousand views. However, since I stopped publishing new videos my subscribers gradually dwindled to just over 1800. A couple of weeks ago I published some old, poor quality content on this channel and it has resulted in my subscribers tanking! In this video I look at my analytics and talk about why this is, and what I'll be doing about it.

At this point it's really just about publishing new, better quality content, and optimising that content so that it has a better chance of being discovered by the right people, who may become new, more engaged subscribers!
