Ancient Charm of China - Hometown of Chinese Poetry, One of the famous historical and cultural towns
Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the most famous historical and cultural towns in Guizhou Province, lies in the southern suburb of Guiyang. As an ancient town, covering an area of 300 hectares (740 acres), Qingyan Ancient Town, together with Zhenyuan, Bing'an and Longli, is considered the top four old towns in Guizhou. Established in 1378 by Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of China's Ming Dynasty (1358-1644), Qingyan was historically a key military fortress and trade hub.
Nowadays, because of its long history and strong cultural atmosphere, the town has become an attractive destination for numerous domestic and foreign tourists.
Dating back to the beginning of the Ming Dynasty (1368--1644), Qingyan town was built for military reasons. Because of its geographical location, Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of Ming Dynasty, established it as a station for transferring military messages and to house a standing army. Through years of modification and repeated restoration, Qingyan Ancient Town has gradually become a distinctive ancient town with cultural features of Ming and Qing Dynasties (1644 - 1911).
Religious culture here is also quite rich, including Buddhism, Taoism, Catholicism and Christianity. If you are interested in Buddhism, you can take this chance to learn the typical Buddhism culture here. Also, you will be impressed by patter of the Taoists. What's more, you will be surprised to find that so many residents here are Catholic and Christian, since the Catholicism was introduced here in 1851 by a French churchman and the Christianity was introduced to Qingyan Ancient Town nearly 70 years ago.While traveling there, visitors will hear many stories of historical figures that were born or lived here. The first Zhuang Yuan (winner of the national examination) of Guizhou Province during the Qing Dynasty was Mr. Zhao Yijiong who was born and brought up in Qingyan Town. Zhou Enlai's father Zhou Maochen lived here.

Xiasi Ancient Town is located in Majiang County , Qiandongnan Miao-Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province. Sitting on the bank of Qingjiang River, Xiasi Ancient Town is a well-protected water town with ancient jetty which was once an important stop on the Tea-Horse Ancient Road in ancient time
What to see?
Xiasi Ancient Town ,a home of Miao, Yaolao and She ethnic minorities, attrscts tourists because of its beautiful natural scenery, cultural & historic attractions. The major must-see places are Yangming Academy, Huangmu Museum, Ziku Pagoda, and Lusheng Square.
Houses and buildings in the ancient town were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911), which are preserved well with South China's architecture style. Walking around the town, you can enjoy the view of Qingjiang River that will make you have an amazing trip.
The beauty of the old town is simple but it is a pleasant experience. Stopping between the bridges on the riverside, thinking about the ancient times, sharing this relaxation with colleagues and friends, and adding a leisurely pleasure to the stressful work, is a wonderful enjoyment.
The old town of Xiasi was built on the Qingshui River. The old town was very old, and now it has been renovated by the government. It is a bridge. First, it is the huge archway of Xiasi ancient town, with four big words, Xiasi ancient town standing.
I love this village!! It’s an old port town with traditional wooden houses. The town is very peaceful and you actually get to enjoy the hospitality of Miao people. Somehow it seems that big tourist buses haven’t found this gem and despite some independent passbyers you get to have the town all for yourself. The blueberries are really sweet and juicy here and the food is really delicious. I love the noodles diet with blueberry juice.
The old town of Xiashi is known as small Shanghai, and is called the pearl on the Qingshui River, and is the town of red crane, zinc millet and world famous dog. Xiasi Ancient Town is a town adjacent to the water of Kaili City, Majiang County, the middle of July of the lunar calendar, people here follow the tradition of holding dragon boat competition, bullfighting, car flow, shoulder-car, lively and extraordinary. Historic sites include: Xiashi Kochin, ancient pier, street and lane, Miao hanging tower, Xiatong and Zhuangyuan Di, the site of the king of the king, Kannon Kaku and bunsho Kaku, and the hometown of Zhang Xianpei, a strong man of Yuan Shikai, who was bombed by the domain.
Xiasi Ancient Town, which is known for the scenery of the mountains, rivers, and gorges, lies at the upper reaches of the Qingshui River, between Majiang County and Kaili city in Guizhou.
The culture of the Miao, Mulao, She and Han ethnic groups is reflected in the town's history and architecture, such as the Dong-style Drum Tower and Miao-style Stilt House. Most of the buildings along the streets feature the Miao-style wooden structure and some of them have the brick-and-corbie-step structure of Hui style. The brick buildings on the riverside, the clear lakes and green mountains make for a beautiful landscape painting.

国家5 A级南宁青秀山风景名胜区Nanning City, China-5A Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area
Nanning Qingxiu Mountain Scenic and Historic Area is a national 5A tourist attraction. It is located on Fengling South Road, Qingxiu District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the bank of the Yong River, with an area of 13.54 square kilometers.
The scenic spot was officially opened in October 1987; as of 2015, there are 6,128 species of plants in the scenic spot, including 232 species of national rare and endangered key protected plants, including 92 species of first-level key protected plants and 140 species of second-level key protected plants.
The scenic area has a subtropical monsoon climate, with abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall, little frost and no snow, and the annual average temperature is 21.7°C.
Main attractions: The scenic area has the Millennium Cycad Garden, a classic garden that combines ex-situ conservation and garden landscaping, the Rainforest Grand View, an ecological garden landscape with tropical rainforest characteristics, and the Orchid Garden, the largest natural ecological orchid garden in China.
