Nature
For those who like to enjoy green landscapes, there are many parks with small blue ponds in the Łódź Voivodeship. Not far from the capital there is a nature reserve where viewing beautiful places can be combined with the study of flora and fauna.

Łódź is rightly called the city of cinema and fashion. Herbst Palace Museum used to be the home of a wealthy merchant - the founder of the Poznański weaving factory. Now it is a palace-museum with rich decoration and a vast park around.
Nieborow Palace was once home to Prince Radzejowski in the Baroque style. Subsequently, the palace changed owners more than once and acquired new features of the Rococo style.
The entertainment complex Monopolis is a trendy place among the historical walls. On the territory of the old red brick textile manufactory, you can now find hundreds of fashionable shops, a gallery with examples of modern art and a cinema.
Arkadia Park was created at the end of the 18th century and enchants with a romantic mood. On its square there is a Roman aqueduct, a circus, a Gothic house and other attractions located among the winding alleys.
The small Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is located in the administrative center of the province and attracts attention with bright colors in the facade of the building and blue domes with gilding.
Atlas Arena invites guests to sports or music events. From the outside, the building is not particularly remarkable, but inside it is modern.

Łódź, located in the centre of Poland and about 130 km southwest of the capital Warsaw, is not only the third largest city in the country with about 700,000 inhabitants, but also a relevant and interesting place culturally as well as historically, with many different facets. A former capital of the textile industry with many warehouses, Łódź is now a pearl of industrial architecture and the hipster scene.
Centrally located Piotrkowska Street stretches for about 4.9 km between Freedom Square and Independence Square. This impressive street with beautifully renovated historical buildings is the heart of Lodz, this is where you will find most of the shops, restaurants and social life. Every year in May, the big city festival takes place there. Classical and modern architecture lovers will find at almost every corner some interesting photo motifs and much more.
There is also much to discover in the famous Manufaktura. Once an important and large factory site of the essential textile industry in the former Lodz, actually Manufaktura has been transformed into a modern and diverse shopping centre with many leisure facilities.
You will also find many beautiful green corners and parks which pleasantly round off the city's image.
Seems to me Łódź is still very underrated as many visitors to Poland still don't choose it as a travel destination. Wrong, in my opinion. I was very pleasantly surprised visiting Łódź and, as always, tried to capture my impressions with my camera.

Górki Czechowskie – niezabudowany obszar naturalnych wzniesień i wąwozów w północnej części Lublina na Czechowie, obejmujący ok. 150 ha. Od początku XXI w. trwa publiczna debata, której celem jest ustalenie, czy obszar Górek należy pozostawić niezabudowanym. Przedstawiano m.in. koncepcje utworzenia tam rezerwatu florystyczno-krajobrazowego i parku naturalistycznego, z różnymi wariantami zabudowy. W 2019 przeprowadzono w tej sprawie referendum lokalne.
Położenie:
Wzdłuż zachodniego skraju terenu przebiega ul. Poligonowa, od południa okala je ul. Północna, od wschodu częściowo ul. Ireny Kosmowskiej, przedwojenne osiedle zabudowy jednorodzinnej Towarzystwa Osiedli Robotniczych oraz ul. Koncertowa, od północy ul. Aleksandra Zelwerowicza, poza którą główny wąwóz Górek Czechowskich łagodniejący w części północnej, przybiera postać płytszej suchej doliny, biegnącej w stronę północnej granicy miasta.

Tramwaj w Zgierzu - pierwszy dzień kursowania linii 6 / Tram 6 - Zgierz - first day after re-opening
Pierwsza z reaktywowanych tramwajowych linii podmiejskich w aglomeracji łódzkiej to tramwaj łączący Zgierz z Łodzią. Po pre-otwarciu 19.12.2021 (parada historycznych wagonów), w dniu 20.12.2021 rozpoczęła się nowa era tramwaju w Zgierzu - regularne kursy linii nr 6 (tymczasowo, docelowo będzie to linia nr 45).
Jako zgierzanin jestem dumny, że tramwaj - istniejący dla mnie od zawsze, jest znów w Zgierzu i będzie na długie lata. Teraz czas na przynajmniej częściową reaktywację linii nr 46 na terenie Zgierza - do północnych granic miasta. Są wstępne deklaracje Miasta Zgierza, życie je zweryfikuje.
Na filmie odcinek linii na terenie Zgierza, od Helenówka w Łodzi do krańcówki na Placu Kilińskiego. Kurs wieczorny, około 18:30 w pierwszym dniu kursowania 20.12.2021. Na filmie widać sznur aut (oblodzone jezdnie w Łodzi i Zgierzu), który ciągnął się z przerwami od centrum Łodzi przy Manufakturze do granic Zgierza. Dziś tramwaj był najszybszym środkiem lokomocji popołudniu i wieczorem!
Przystanki w Zgierzu: Chełmy, Adelmówek, Kurak, 1-go Maja i krańcówka (pętla) Plac Kilińskiego.
Torowisko i cała infrastruktura prezentuje się wyśmienicie, tramwaje rozwijają naprawdę duże prędkości. Widać to szczególnie na odcinku pomiędzy Adelmówkiem (3:30 minuta filmu) a Kurakiem (5:00 minuta filmu). Tramwaj pruje tam naprawdę szybko :)

Park Źródliska to jeden z piękniejszych parków w Łodzi. Został uznany w całości za pomnik przyrody i wpisany do rejestru zabytków
