Zamość - miasto idealne. Obchodzi w tym roku rocznicę 440 lecia swojego założenia. Również i my chcieliśmy się włączyć w tą uroczystość i przygotowaliśmy z tej okazji film prezentujący nasze rodzinne miasto z każdej perspektywy.
Idąc naszym szlakiem możecie zobaczyć jak oglądali swoje miasto ludzie, którzy je tworzyli. Z wieży Ratusza spoglądał na nie hejnalista oraz miejscy rajcy. Na dzwonnicę katedralną mógł wspiąć się nie tylko dzwonnik zwołujący wiernych na nabożeństwa, ale także pasterze miejscowej wspólnoty pilnujący swojej owczarni. Spod pałacu właściciela i fundatora Jana Zamoyskiego widać bryłę renesansowej Katedry, Akademię Zamojską oraz ciągnącą się przez całe Stare Miasto ulicę Grodzką przecinającą Rynek Wielki i prowadzącą co potężnego Nadszańca. Zamość - Poland Best City - Travel & Discover
Zamość was founded in 1580 by the Chancellor and Hetman (head of the army of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth), Jan Zamoyski, on the trade route linking western and northern Europe with the Black Sea. Modelled on Italian trading cities, and built during the late-renaissance period by the Paduan architect Bernardo Morando, Zamość remains a perfect example of a Renaissance town of the late 16th century.

Is Zamość the most unique city in Poland?
After spending over two months in Poland, I arrive in my final Polish city before crossing the border into Ukraine.
Zamość was founded in the late 16th century by Jan Zamoyski. The centre of the city was added to the World Heritage List in 1992 for being a unique example of a Renaissance town in Central Europe.
The city is unlike other cities in Poland. It was built in accordance with Italian Renaissance theories on the creation of “ideal” cities and it is mostly still intact.
In this video, I explore the historic centre and enjoy the unusually quiet streets of this historic Polish city.

To wspaniałe miejsce w Polsce. Zamość. Zeszłego lata byłam tu po raz pierwszy i zachwyciło mnie. Tak pięknie. Oczywiście na ten świąteczno-zimowy cykl musiałam wrócić. Ponownie, cudownie! Lodowisko przed Ratuszem. Wielka choinka. Tarasy z kominkami. Kolory. Uwielbiam to miejsce. I zatrzymałam się w najbardziej przytulnym apartamencie. Wrócę tu w 2024 roku!
This magnificent place in Poland. Zamość. Last summer I was here for the first time and it blew me away. So beautiful. Of course for this Christmas and winter series I had to come back. Again, wonderful! The ice rink in front of Ratusz. The big Christmas tree. The terraces with fireplaces. The colors. I love this place. And I stayed in the most cozy apartment. I will come back in 2024!
Witam w nowej serii o Bożym Narodzeniu w Polsce. W ciągu najbliższych kilku tygodni będę podróżował po całej Polsce, aby sfilmować wszystko, co związane z Bożym Narodzeniem. Góry, miasta, miasteczka, morze. Oczywiście zaczęliśmy od Krakowa. A potem pojechałam autobusem do zimowej krainy czarów - Zakopanego! Kontrast z górami był bardzo duży, kiedy pojechałam pociągiem do Katowic. Potem miałam bardzo wyjątkowy dzień. Odwiedziłam dwa miejsca, które są związane z niektórymi z was. Piękne małe miasteczko Pszczyna z imponującym zamkiem. I niesamowite Bielsko-Biała. Jedno z moich ulubionych miast w Polsce. Po pięknym Opolu przyszła kolej na Wrocław. I oczywiście pełna zimowa wycieczka po Dolnym Śląsku. Po Poznaniu udaliśmy się do Gdańska i na polskie wybrzeże. Teraz jesteśmy w Toruniu i Bydgoszczy ????✨️????????♥️
Welcome to a new series about Christmas in Poland. Over the next few weeks I will be traveling all over Poland to film everything related to Christmas. Mountains, cities, towns, the sea. Of course, we started in Krakow. And after this I took the bus to winter wonderland Zakopane! The contrast with the mountains was very big when I took the train to Katowice. After this I had a very special day. I visited two places which are connected to some of you. Beautiful small town Pszczyna with it's impressive castle. And amazing Bielsko-Biała. One of my favorite cities in Poland. After beautiful Opole, it was the turn of Wrocław. And of course a full winter roadtrip through Lower Silesia. After Poznań we went to Gdańsk and the Polish coast. Now Toruń and Bydgoszcz ????✨️????????♥️

We Went on a Poland Road Trip | Lublin, Zamość, Sandomierz
Our Poland road trip has begun as we pack our bags and hit the road.
First up we left Warsaw and headed to our first stop in our eastern road trip which was the cute little town of Kazimierz Dolny. Here we got to see what a town with 15th, 16th and 17th century buildings look like.
That night we spent exploring the night markets in Lublin before heading to bed and starting day 2 of our road trip exploring the Lublin castle and the painted church.
We then spent the rest of our day exploring the Majdanek concentration camp just outside of Lublin before making our way to Zamosc for the night.
Day 3 of our road trip began in the very colorful old town of Zamosc and we started our day nice and slow before heading to a Polish winery, met some Alpaca friends, had a tasty home cooked meal before heading onto Sandomierz.
Our final day on the road trip we headed to Krzyżtopór Castle before making our way back to Warsaw.
