Chinese Steam: Jing Peng Pass around Jing Peng Viaduct
Spend a morning on the western side of Jing Peng pass, near Jing Peng viaduct. The view here of uphill (eastbound) trains was spectacular, with clear views over the valley of approaching trains climbing up and across the viaduct. The double-headed QJs, deep snow, and spectacular mountains make for magnificent viewing.

High Speed Train Arrives at Changsha South Station
Changsha South Railway Station is 8 miles (13 km) from Wuyi Square (city center), 6 miles (10 km) from Changsha Railway Station and 11 miles (18 km) from Huanghua International Airport. The South Train Station works closely with the metro, maglev, city buses, taxis, and long distance buses to provide convenient transport for passengers.
The station serves as the transportation hub for Beijing-Guangzhou and Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Railways. It only operates bullet trains including these to and from Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Guilin, and Qingdao etc.

Some of this video has already been uploaded to YouTube. Due to upload size restrictions at the time, most clips were only a few minutes long. This video has been re-edited and includes many shots previously excluded. This video was shot in black and white because the deteriorating weather resulted in poor light.
Chengzhie system, Beicheng washery. While at the Nanchang stabling point I heard the sound of a loco slipping. After a ten minute walk in falling snow back to the washery, the SY was still vainly trying to get its train on the move. Help from another SY rescued the stricken loco.
Hengshan Bank was worked by double headed SY plus a banker. This was probably the last location in the world to use this combination of motive power in regular service. The line was dieselised soon after my visit.

Taiwan Kitchen meets the head chef at the Taipei Main Station Kitchen, discovers the history of train catering in Taiwan, travels to Yulin to watch how they serve on the train and tucks into sampling bento boxes at South Shulin station.

CIBC LunarFest 2013 - 采風樂坊 東方傳奇搖滾國樂 Taiwan's Chai Found Music Workshop Eastern Legends is an internationally-acclaimed sizhu musical group. This is another showcase like the annual Taiwanfest 台灣文化節to highlight Formosa culture. The 5 girls and 1 boy band plays Chinese chamber music and fuses traditional Asian music with other popular music genres of today. They were invited by the Ottawa Chamber Music Society to come to Canada to perform at the CIBC LunarFest 2013 both in the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto and the Vancouver Art Gallery in Vancouver in Feb 2013 to coincide with the celebration of the Lunar New Year or the Year of the Snake. 采風樂坊 東方傳奇搖滾國樂 employ a wide variety of Chinese musical instruments such as the Erhu二胡, Pipa 琵琶, Guzheng 古箏, Yueqin 月琴, Se瑟, Dizi 笛子, Xiao 簫, Laba 喇叭 and the like. 原住民歌 An indigenous people of Taiwan musical group. 歌曲包括：青春舞曲，追逐，Sa Ka Ma Lu 原住民歌，冬天的雨，卜卦調，賽馬，旅程等等。

Steam Train at Chickamauga Battlefield taken from Wilder Tower
Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum steam engine 610 and a Southern Diesel engine cross a railroad crossing. This video is taken from the top of Wilder Tower in Chickamauga Battlefied about 85 ft (25.9 meters) high.
This is an annual autumn leaf excursion train. Originally it was supposed to go to Summerville GA however due to track damage from September 2009 flooding, the trip was shortened to only go to Chickamauga GA.
I was originally on Wilder Tower taking some photos of the fall leaves and was actually about to start down when I heard the steam whistle blowing in the distance so I decided to get a video of the steam train.
Thirlmere Festival Of Steam, 2nd March 2014 - Part 1
The NSW Steam Season for 2014 was under way with the annual Thirlmere Festival Of Steam on Sunday 2nd March 2014.
The NSWRTM's Steam Locomotive 3642 hauled the Thirlmere Flyer from Sydney to Thirlmere. The RTM's Steam Locomotive 2705 joined the train at Picton and the two locomotives hauled the train from Thirlmere - Picton. After arriving at Thirlmere, the two Locomotives then hauled a Shuttle Trip from Thirlmere - Picton and back. The Powerhouse Museum's Steam Locomotive 3265 was hauling Shuttle Trips from Thirlmere to Buxton throughout the day. There was also steam machinery on display, a model railway exhibition and more!
Part 1 shows Steam Loco 3265 hauling Shuttles to Buxton, 2705 and 3642 arriving into Thirlmere with the 'Thirlmere Flyer' from Sydney, then we hop on board the two loco's for their Shuttle Trip to Picton.
