During this incredible journey, we'll take many boat rides, including a trip to the birthplace of the Nile and a visit to the gorgeous Lake Bunyonyi.

Uganda, oficialmente República de Uganda (en inglés Republic of Uganda; en suajili Jamhuri ya Uganda) es un país soberano situado en África oriental. El país limita al este con Kenia, al norte con Sudán del Sur, al oeste con República Democrática del Congo y al suroeste con Ruanda y Tanzania. Uganda se encuentra en la región de los Grandes Lagos de África, la parte sur del país incluye una parte sustancial del lago Victoria, compartido con Kenia y Tanzania. Aunque el clima es tropical, hay diferencias entre las distintas regiones del país.

Uganda boasts of a wide range of accommodation from luxury hotels, lodges to budget accommodation. The country has over 150 Tour companies that are responsible for packaging tours, planning and executing tours for Tourists. Still in the private sector are the Travel Agents that are responsible for the Travel of Tourist from there respective destinations. The Travel Agents work hand in hand with airlines. Most of the major airlines in the world have flights to Entebbe International Airport which is Uganda's major airport. The national airline called the Uganda Airlines has been revived which has drastically increase the hope of Uganda as a Tourist Destination.

The Uganda Road network is taking great shape lately with a lot of road improvements taking place in the country. We have great projects like the Entebbe Express Way or Highway which took the country's infrastructure by storm. The Kampala Flyover Project is also another great project - now leading to the improvement of Mukwano Road and Nsambya Road.

We arrived in Entebbe, Uganda very early in the morning on May 1,2021. Our hotel was located just 5 minutes from the airport and we got a free pick up.
Thanks to Jill’s Dad’s hotel points, we got to stay in a beautiful lake front 5 star hotel for 5 nights when we arrived.
It was just what we needed and really set the stage for a lovely visit to Uganda.
In this video we give a tour of our hotel and try and highlight just how happy we are to be back in the lush and tropical jungle.

In 2017 we packed up our life, and quit the 9-5 to head out into the world. We came with no expectations, we only wanted to experience life. Since then, we have packed more fun and adventure into our lives than we ever could have imagined.
Being on the road now for over three years, has brought with it the freedom to explore what it is that we really want to do with our lives, the time to pay attention to the things that are truly important to us, and the adventure to really make life fun and interesting once again.
We left seeking an exciting life, and we have not been disappointed!
We mostly travel without a plan, we just let the chips fall where they may, then figure it out as we go. We find that in doing this, the most unexpected and interesting opportunities present themselves, and it truly keeps us on our toes. We are also slow travellers, preferring to spend a month to three months in each country that we visit. We know that we won't see every country in the world, but by sinking into each country for a longer length of time, we get a much better feel for the culture and the people than we would if we just skipped over each one quickly.
We are also on a mission of painting the planet one mural at a time! We truly enjoy spreading love through our art whenever we find the opportunity to do so. If YOU need a mural painted, get in touch!
