South Sudan | White Nile River | OLL
South Sudan is blessed with longest river ‘Nile’ and 65% of it traverses South to North of the country as river ‘White Nile’. ‘White Nile’ becomes the cheapest means to support the Northern sectors for the sustainment of UN troops, different NGOs, UN organizations (WFP, UNDP, WHO etc.) and the IDPs in different POC camps. BANFMU provide force protection to achieve the safe transit of UN contracted barges, her crew and UN stuffs through the river White Nile from Juba to Malakal and vice-versa named as “Operation Lifeline” (OLL).
Operation Life Line (OLL) is probably the most critical OPS, not only negotiations for clear passage by MLO but public relations, information gatherings on security situations, state of living standards and other arising issues that warrant UNMISS support. On the way of OLL, almost 38 check posts need to be negotiated. Negotiations from MLO is and will always remain difficult since CHPs pers already have many expectations and without fulfilling will be time consuming. People living alongside the river have need more assistance from UN agencies compared to those villages forecasted on monthly patrols.

Stephanie Maker's GoFundMe video. Stephanie is one of the primary founders of Abukloi Secondary School in Rumbek, South Sudan. Abukloi is recognized as one of the best schools in South Sudan, with one of the highest percentage of women in attendance. Stephanie, who has degrees in computer information systems and education, is raising money to build an internet cafe for the school.

This video was gotten on the table a day after the inauguration of Juba-Bor highway event.
In the video, showing the residents of Pariak and Bor town residents including deputy governor of Jonglei state Honorable Jacob Akech Deng.
According to the deputy governor's opinion, he comments that H.E Salva kiir Mayardit has done so much to the people of Bor town, the road has eased the transportation of Goods and Services in the town. Therefore, I would like His Excellency the president of South Sudan to not stop what he started and the country will be in a good position in East Africa. He added.

Death of Bishop Cesare Mazzolari shocks South Sudan
July 19, 2011. (Romereports.com) On Saturday July 16 Cesare Mazzolari died at the age of 74. He was the bishop of Rumbek in South Sudan. For11 years he served in the diocese of the youngest African country.
He served as a missionary from the Comboni Order and passed away while celebrating Mass. Last month he traveled to Rome to explain the recent challenges facing the world's youngest country.

Reconciliation and forgiveness should play a major role in the country's future. This must contribute both to the Church and the State which must be more transparent and abandon the exclusivity in representing only one or two tribes.
Mazzolari first arrived in Sudan in 1981. He helped to release 150 child soldiers and reopened several missions. He was also kidnapped for 24 hours by the Sudan People's Liberation Army. On July 9 he took part in the ceremony declaring the independence of South Sudan.
