Amazing Yibin_official travel introduction video
Yibin is located in the southeast portion of Sichuan at the southern end of the Sichuan Basin, bordering Zhaotong (Yunnan) to the south, Luzhou to the east, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture and Leshan to the west, and Zigong to the north, and has a total area is 13,283 square kilometres (5,129 sq mi). The city ranges in latitude from 27° 50'−29° 16' N, and in longitude from 103° 36'−105° 20' E, stretching 153 km (95 mi) east-west and 150 km (93 mi) north-south.
There are several hot springs near Yibin, plus many other tourist attractions. Such attractions include the Bamboo Sea in Changning County and the Xingwen Stone Forest. Cuiping mountain in the centre of the city provides wonderful views of Yibin. Yibin is also the confluence of the Min and Jinsha Rivers, which together form the Yangtze River.
The most significant scenic resource is Mountain Park(dashangongyuan,大山公园), which stretches for hundreds of kilometers.

Shangli Ancient Village - A Special Place in Sichuan
Shangli, Sichuan, China - it's not frequented by western tourists much, but Chinese tourist flow in and out of the small riverside village, stopping to buy local specialties and to sip tea in an almost perfect atmosphere. The village was once a starting point for coolies carrying loads of tea to Tibet. It was also a stop for the Red Army while walking the Long March, a fact that's supported by the carvings that can be seen on stone tablets in Shangli.

Ya'an, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, is located on the western edge of the Sichuan Basin and the eastern foothills of Qionglai Mountains. It is adjacent to Chengdu in the east, Ganzi in the west, Liangshan in the south, and Aba in the north, 120 kilometers away from Chengdu. It belongs to the mountains on the western edge of the Sichuan Basin, and it crosses the Sichuan Basin. There are two major terrain areas on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; the climate type is subtropical monsoon humid climate; the city has a total area of 15,046 square kilometers, with 2 districts and 6 counties under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Ya'an City is 1,434,603 people.
Ya'an, the Rain City located in western Sichuan, has been known as Huaxi Rain Screen and Yazhou Sky Leak since ancient times. 365 days a year, there are as many as 218 days of rainy days in Ya'an, with an average annual rainfall of 1,800 mm and rainfall hours as high as 2,319 hours. It is really a veritable Rain City. The poet Li Shangyin of the Tang Dynasty once sighed: Why should we cut candles at the west window together, Bashan rains at night and rises in the autumn pond. The folks of Ya'an also have the distress of Shu dog barking day and Ya no three days sunny. So why does Ya'an become a Rain City?
There is a beautiful and touching myth in Ya'an. Legend has it that in ancient times, the sky was smashed by the Canglong, and the ancestor of humanity, Nuwa, made multicolored stones to repair the sky. When the sky elsewhere was completed, and only the sky in Ya'an was left, Nuwa was exhausted. She barely held up the last colorful stone and flew over Ya'an. After hard work, she fell into the realm of Ya'an due to overwork and vomited blood. Died. Since then, Ya'an has been shrouded in rain, and Nu Wa has also turned into a mountain in the Rain City, watching bitterly on the edge of the Qingyi River that was rolled over by the blue waves.

쓰촨성은 중국의 국보, 판다의 탄생지다. 지금도 판다가 태어나는 유일한 곳이기도 하다. 이 버스는 청두시내에서 30분 거리에 있는 청두 판다연구기지까지 운행한다. 나도 판다를 보기 위해 버스를 탔다. 요금은 75위안, 우리나라 돈으로 만 삼천 원 정도로 왕복 교통비와 입장료가 포함돼 있다. 이미 판다를 만나기 위해 몰려온 관광객들로 북적였다. 귀한 판다를 보기 위해 중국 각 지역 뿐만 아니라 세계 각국의 관광객들이 청두에 온다. 기지 안으로 들어서자, 번쩍이는 황금빛 판다 동상이 가장 먼저 사람들을 맞이한다. 진짜 판다는 아니지만 귀여운 모습에 미소가 절로 지어진다. 조금 더 올라가자, 빽빽하게 들어선 대나무 숲이 나온다. 끝도 없이 이어지는 푸른 대나무 숲을 보니 판다의 서식지답다는 생각이 든다. 사람들이 담벼락에 매달려 뭔가를 보고 있다. 작고 동그란 얼굴, 붉은 털, 너구리과 레서 판다다. 현재, 멸종 위기 동물로 지정돼 있다. 통통한 몸집에 비해 꽤 날렵해 보인다. 수많은 판다가 댓잎을 뜯는 모습을 볼 수 있으리라 기대하며 판다가 있는 곳으로 향했다. 그런데. 날씨가 너무 더워 사육장 안에 있다고 한다. 조금 실망스러웠다. 이 아이도 나와 같은 마음인가 보다. “오늘 판다를 만나러 오신 거예요?” “네. 상해에서 일부러 왔어요. 어제 비행기 타고 왔거든요.” 판다의 나라인 중국에서도 판다의 인기가 대단하다. 사진 찍는 군중들 때문에 제대로 서 있기도 힘들 지경. 유리 너머로 겨우 판다가 보인다. 이미 배부르게 식사를 끝내고 잠이 몰려오는 듯, 뒹굴뒹굴하는 모습이 정말 귀엽다. 귀한 판다를 본 만큼 기념사진은 필수다. “판다는 중국의 국보이고 개체 수가 희소하기 때문에 굉장히 소중하고요. 그래서 아이들과 같이 살아있는 진짜 판다를 직접 보고 싶었어요.” 유난히 긴 줄이 늘어선 이곳은 새끼 판다를 볼 수 있는 곳이다. 한 시간 정도 기다린 후, 안으로 들어갔는데 또 줄이 늘어서 있다. 태어난 지 1~2년 정도 된 새끼 판다로 오물거리며 대나무를 먹는 모습이 귀엽다. 친근한 동물이지만 실제로 본 것은 처음이다. 느릿느릿하고 둥글한 몸매가 정말 사랑스러웠다. 하지만 관리인의 재촉에 아쉽지만 발길을 옮겨야 했다. 태어난 지 며칠 안 된 판다가 보인다. 하지만 이번에도 사람들에게 떠밀려 촬영할 시간이 충분치 않았다. 다들 아쉬움을 품은 채 밖으로 나와야 했다. “이렇게 가까운 거리에서 대나무를 먹는 모습과 재롱부리는 모습을 보니까 정말 귀여운데 사람이 너무 많아서 힘들었어요.” 나는 중국 최대 대나무 자생지인 청두의 남쪽, 이빈시로 향했다. 능선 능선마다 끝없이 펼쳐진 대나무 바다, 마치 초록의 바다가 출렁이는 것 같다. 이빈은 중국 도시 중 숲의 비율이 가장 높은 곳이다. 예부터 이곳의 비옥한 땅에서 자란 대나무는 중국 최고의 가치를 자랑했다. “이(수난주하이)지역은 토양이 비옥하기 때문에 대나무가 상당히 크게 잘 자라요. 이 나무는 지름이 아마 18~20cm 정도 되고 높이는 30m 정도 되는 것 같아요. 색깔로 봤을 때 이 대나무는 3년생이네요.” 영화 ‘와호장룡’에서 두 주인공, 저우룬파(주윤발)와 장쯔이가 그림 같은 대결을 펼쳤던 곳이기도 하다. 무더위를 날려 줄 청량한 초록빛, 바람에 실려 들려오는 댓잎 스치는 소리에 내 마음이 고요하고 평온해진다. 씨앤위동은 절벽을 따라 약 500미터가량 이어지는 인공 동굴에 지어진 사원이다. 씨앤위동에 가기 위해선 케이블카를 타고 협곡과 협곡 사이 100m 정도 이동해야 한다. 비가 오고 안개가 자욱해 앞이 잘 보이지 않았다. 약간 무서운 마음도 들었지만 이런 곳이라면 정말 신선이 살고 있지 않을까 싶다. 궂은 날씨에도 죽해의 비경을 보기 위해 많은 이들이 찾아와 있었다. “여기는 신선이 사는 곳 같아서 정말 좋네요.” 안개가 끼어 신비로움을 자아내는 경치를 감상하며 절벽을 따라 걸어보았다. 가장 먼저 눈에 들어온 것은 누워있는 거대한 부처, 수불동이다. 천혜 자연과 어우러진 독특한 광경이다. 불상 주변에는 이곳을 찾은 이들이 소원을 빌며 달아 놓은 자물쇠가 가득하다. 험한 절벽까지 찾아와 빼곡하게 매달아 놓은 모습에서 그 간절함이 느껴진다. 절벽 한가운데를 쏟아져 내려오는 자연 폭포의 물줄기 소리가 시원하다. 비가 오니 더 장관을 이룬다. 가는 길마다 다채로운 매력을 지닌 씨앤위동. 가히 ‘수난주하이의 보석’이라고 불릴만하다. “비가 오고 안개가 껴서 잘 보이지는 않지만 본 적이 없는 경치라 기분이 좋아요.” 아찔한 절벽 한가운데 대나무 가마꾼이 다니는 진풍경을 만났다. 트래킹을 하기에 무리가 없는 길이지만 몸이 불편한 어르신들은 돈을 내고 가마를 타기도 한단다. “어르신들을 모시고 촉남죽해를 구경하신 소감이 어떠세요?” “좋아요 연세가 있으셔서 조용한 곳을 찾았는데 여기가 제일 좋은 것 같아요.” 깎아지른 절벽 위에서 바라본 대나무 숲. 나는 잠시나마 신비로운 무릉도원에 다녀온 느낌이었다. 점점 빗줄기가 거세져 서둘러 마을로 내려왔다. 이빈 시에서 대나무 숲만큼 유명한 것이 바로, 대나무 공예다. 작업 중인 한 공예가를 만났다. “40년 넘게 (대나무 공예를)하고 있어요. 저런 의자는 하루에 두 개밖에 못 만들어요.” 일일이 수작업으로 만든다니, 대단한 정성이 깃든 작품이다. 나는 장인이 만든 의자에 한 번 앉아보았다. 푹신한 느낌은 없지만 대나무의 시원함이 느껴진다. 예전에는 중국 대나무공예품의 절반 이상이 이곳 이빈 시에서 만들어져 중국 전역으로 팔려나갔다고 한다. 그만큼 인기가 대단했다는데 지금은 사정이 달라졌다. “요즘은 (대나무 공예에 대해) 궁금해 하는 사람조차 없어요. 돈을 못 버는 직업인데 배우고 싶어 하는 사람이 있겠어요?” “하지만 후계자가 필요하다는 생각은 드시죠?” “있기는 하지만 저 자신도 강요하고 싶지 않기 때문에 그냥 제가 할 수 있을 때까지 할 거예요.”
