Vor über 40 Jahren haben wir unser Herz an die zeeländische Küste rund um Domburg verloren. Grund genug, immer wieder dorthin zu reisen. Jetzt zum zweiten Mal mit dem Wohnmobil. Da Freistehen in den Niederlanden nicht gerne gesehen und im Zweifel mit Geldstrafe geahndet wird, steuern wir einen Campingplatz vor Ort an. Wir starten am späten Nachmittag in Wiesbaden und legen einen Übernachtungsstop in Zuid-Beveland ein. Am Morgen besuchen wir dann zunächst Goes mit seiner hübschen Altstadt und besonders dem Stadhaven, bevor wir in einer Schleife über Noord-Beveland und über den Veerse Gatdam nach Domburg fahren.
Am Autostrand von Westkapelle legen wir eine kleine Frühstückspause ein und checken anschließend den Camper ein. Dann geht es in die Ortsmitte von Domburg und anschließend über die Dünen an den Strand. Zum Tagesabschluss gönnen wir uns eine Portion Kibbeling mit den üblichen Beilagen.

Foraging for wild oysters direct from the Zeeland coast
This week we head down to Zeeland to try amazing oysters from The Oesterij with Rob and Sally. Afterwards we head down to the shore where you can pick up to 10 kilos of wild oysters right from the coast.
TandTgoDutch is a channel following the life of Tracey and Travis. Two Americans living in The Netherlands with their Minature Husky, Tabasco. We explore our new home and some places around Europe and talk about some of the successes and struggles we have gone through during the process.

Jaaaaaa we gaan weer op pad. Na weken van klussen vinden we het genoeg en pakken we de camper weer. Maar voordat we vertrekken een kleine verrassing. Motorstoring!
Maar we laten ons niet tegenhouden en vertrekken naar Zeeland. Wat een stormachtig weekend zeg.
Op de fiets naar Yerseke en Wemeldingen. Gevaar voor eigen leven ????????.

Vor kurzem waren wir in Oosterschelde und kamen an dem Sperrwerk vorbei. Oosterscheldekering, ein Teil der Deltawerke. Die Anlage soll hauptsächlich die Region Zeeland vor Sturmfluten und Hochwasser schützen. Das ist die weltgrößte Sturmflutanlage der Welt.
