Sesak beratur di sempadan, sesak semasa di kedai makan Hatyai, sesak di pasar dan hotel pun penuh! Itu belum masuk harga jualan di sana. Memang peniaga-peniaga mengambil kesempatan meningkatkan harga barang.
Jadi, apa kata, jom ronda ke Narathiwat. Walaupun Narathiwat ini tidak mendapat tempat di hati pengunjung, namun lebih tenang berada di sana. Cubalah berkunjung sekali. Anda akan rasa pelancongan ini sangat berbaloi.

The Wat Hat Yai Nai temple is known for its 35m-long reclining Buddha. Outside the city center, Hat Yai Park is a hilly green area with a standing Buddha statue and a cable car.

Yala Betong The Tastes of Betong
We travelled to the Southern province of Yala to experience the charm of 'Betong', a lovely city blessed with abundant natural beauty. Being surrounded by mountains, the city offers freshwater flowing through the San Kala Khiri Mountain range and a spectacular sea of mist that you can enjoy all-year round. Apart from being a site for tourism, nature also gives ingredients and food that create unique flavours of this southernmost city of Siam.
The ‘Cloud Documentary’ will take you on a journey to explore 'Betong’s flavours' through a wide range of delicious dishes that you shouldn’t miss, including Betong chicken with crispy skin, flowing river Nile Tilapia with no fishy odour, watercress, and black jelly made of mountain water. A variety of local dishes are the products of nice quality ingredients and cultural diversity that help sustain the local businesses.

Walking In YALA, THAILAND
Deep South of Thailand - Yala
Left my overnight stop in Narathiwat and headed west over some nice hills into Yala province. There isn't much to see at all in the provincial capital unless you're into urban planning, so I headed out of the city to a cave temple called Wat Khuhapimuk which features an 81-foot long reclining Buddha image that is said to date back to the 8th century. Next stop was at another cave temple in southern Songkhla province called Wat Tham Talod which featured some beautiful rock formations and more Buddha statues.

Day 5 of 9 - Exploring Thailand Yala City - Singaporeans in a self-converted camper van
We chanced upon a night market with a fun fair in it and ended up having an amazing time! Great to be kids again hurhur. Then comes the scary part, we didn't manage to successfully contact any camp site for the night.
How They Treat You In Yala Thailand ????????
Our durian hunt here in Yala continues after the first place we tried to visit was closed!
On the way we found a lovely lady selling spicy fried chicken salad which is one of my favourites so we ordered a portion for 35 Thai baht and it was so delicious.
We then hit the motherload as we found Yala's greatest durian shop around the corner.
The people here were so friendly and kept giving us free durian. We had a laugh and bought some durian sticky rice for 100 baht which was heavenly.
One of the lady's even drove us home on her motorbike.

Sri Lanka may be a small island in the Indian Ocean but that’s the only thing small about it. The country boasts an ancient civilization, golden sandy beaches with their swaying coconut palms, mountains, and rubber and tea plantations.
