CUERNAVACA by DRONE 4K | Beautiful Town near Mexico City | Best Places To Visit in Mexico

Cuernavaca drone footage and timelapse. Cuernavaca is a beautiful town located 85 kilometers from Mexico City. It is the capital of Mexico’s Morelos state, surrounded by the Tepozteco Mountains south of Mexico City. The colonial city center features the 16th-century Palace of Cortés, former home of Spanish conqueror Hernán Cortés and now a history museum with murals by Mexican artist Diego Rivera. Just southwest is Cuernavaca Cathedral, in a 1500s walled monastery complex with a mural depicting Mexico’s first saint. The city is an important historical destination full of colonial and pre Hispanic treasures.

Things to see in Cuernavaca:
The charming Historical Center of Cuernavaca has the charm of a province, with its colonial buildings, fountains, parks and ravines. In downtown, you can find the Cathedral, the Palacio de Cortés (Cortés Palace) which houses the Museo de Cuauhnahuac (Museum of Cuauhnahuac), the Jardín Borda, the Government Palace, the Jardín Juarez, the Parque Ecológico Chapultepec (Chapultepec ecological park), the Amanalco ravine, the Chapitel del Calvario and the Robert Brady Museum, among other attractions.

This video was shot on DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and DJI Pocket 2 for street photography like timelapses and hyperlapses.

TRAVELLING TO THE MEXICO MOUNTAINS (A tiny village in rural Mexico)

Travelling to the Mexico mountains took two days. But getting to this tiny village in rural Mexico was well worth the trouble. We decided to visit Angahuan in Michoacan partly because it’s the gateway to Paricutin volcano and partly because the people who live there are a pre-Hispanic tribe who still lead a traditional way of life. Seeing the volcano and life in the village were amazing experiences and we’d recommend them to anyone!

Xoxocotla - Crossing a Self-ruled Mexican Village

Publish voyages you would like to make on for free and receive offers from agencies, hotels and airlines according to your needs!

Xoxocotla is a village about 2 hours away from Mexico City, half way to Acapulco. Mexico defined some regions where the people can organize themselves, have no police, no standard institutions. They organize themselves. These pictures were taken crossing the village on the fly. Also you can see on the video a typical tianguis mexican flea market.
