Street Food in China - Chinese Street Food - China Street Food. We made our way DEEP into Western China, Xinjiang province, in search of the BEST and most unique street food in China. As soon as you arrive, it feels like you're entering a whole new street food world. This definitely is some of the best street food around the world!

I've tried street food in Hong Kong, Street food in Guangzhou, Street food in Chengdu, Sichuan, and all around China, but as soon as we tried this street food in deep western china, I was amazed at how delicious and UNIQUE it really was!

Everything was really cheap, ad the locals, who are Uighurs, are really friendly. I can't speak uighur language, so I got by with mandarin, but it would have been better to study a little uighur beforehand. Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience to visit turpan in Xinjiang, China, to taste the delicious and unique street food!

UYGHUR Dance-Pool in Yarkant, Xinjiang - Real Uyghur life | S2, EP40
This Episode is about a city called Shache, or Yarkant in Uyghur language, in the province of Xinjiang. After finishing our roadtrip in Tibet, we finally reached Shache after the crazy adventures on national highway G219. Yarkant is a predominantly Ughyur city with a real middle eastern vibe. We went to the night market and enjoyed some great food followed by a dancing pool with a local dance.
We eventually just joined them dancing.

Xinji Ancient Town is located in Lianhu District of Xi’an and is close to Yuxiang Gate. It’s a food street with ancient buildings that offers many good foods in China. The prices of the foods are affordable. People like to come here for dinners or night snacks.
I visited it one day starting from the statues of Silk Road on Daqing Road. It took me almost 50 minutes to get there by riding a bike through the Central Park of Daqing Road. It’s really a fun place and the trip was also wonderful!

一德路是廣東廣州市越秀區的一條東西走向的道路，位於泰康路以西，和平東路以東，長1,150米，寬15－17米。 因路旁有明、清時代「一德學社」而得名，出自宋． 楊時《河南程氏粹言． 論道篇》的「一德立而百善從之」。
明嘉靖四十四年（1565年），廣州構築外城。 今一德路為「新城」南城牆所在地，新城八城門中，今一德路地段有五仙門、靖海門，城門外則為珠江。 清朝兩廣總督署就設在該地段（今石室）。 咸豐六年（1865年），英法軍艦炮轟總督署，府衙夷為平地，其後法教會在府衙廢址建起天主教聖心堂、學校及慈善堂。

石室聖心堂（法文：Cathédrale du Sacré-cœur de Jésus，英文：Sacred Heart Cathedral）坐落於廣東省廣州市越秀區一德路，是天主教廣州總教區其中一間大教堂。 教堂建於1863年，落成於1888年，歷時25年。 由於教堂的全部牆壁和柱子都是用花崗岩石砌造，所以又稱之為石室或石室耶穌聖心堂、石室天主教堂，1996年被列為全國重點文物保護單位。

Yide Road is an east-west road in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is located to the west of Taikang Road and east of Heping East Road. It is 1,150 meters long and 15-17 meters wide. It was named after the Yide Academy on the roadside in the Ming and Qing dynasties, which originated from the Song Dynasty. Yang Shi's The Pure Words of the Cheng Family in Henan. On Taoism One virtue is established and hundreds of good deeds follow it.
In the forty-fourth year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1565), Guangzhou built an outer city. Today's Yide Road is where the south wall of the New City is located. Among the eight gates of the new city, the current Yide Road section includes Wuxian Gate and Jinghai Gate. Outside the city gate is the Pearl River. The Governor-General's Office of Guangdong and Guangxi in the Qing Dynasty was located in this area (today's Shishi). In the sixth year of Xianfeng's reign (1865), British and French warships bombarded the governor's office and razed the government office to the ground. Later, the French Church built the Catholic Sacred Heart Church, a school and a charity hall on the abandoned site of the government office.

Since all the walls and pillars of the church are made of granite, it is also called the Stone Chamber or the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in the Stone Chamber and the Stone Chamber Catholic Church. In 1996, it was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
The foundation of the church was started on June 28, 1861, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and completed in 1863. A grand foundation-laying ceremony was held on December 8 of the same year, the Day of the Immaculate Conception. The surrounding streets were decorated and attracted a large number of people. People gathered around to watch. The Governor-General of Guangdong and Guangxi arrived in an eight-person sedan chair, as well as a group of civil servants, about 300 Eight Banners officers and soldiers, missionaries and about 20 priests, as well as all consuls and senior officials from European countries stationed in Guangdong. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Gilbert de Trenqualye, the then French Consul in Guangzhou, and Bishop Ming Jizhang delivered speeches respectively. A stone from Jerusalem and a kilogram of soil from Rome were placed under the two foundation stones to show that Christianity was founded in Jerusalem in the east and rose in Rome in the west. The words Jerusalem were engraved on the two foundation stones. 1863 and Roma 1863.

清平路位于中国广州市西关荔湾区，是一条呈南北走向的街道。南起六二三路，北至第十甫路，长439米，宽7米，两旁较多砖木结构的低层房屋。因有广州市内最大农副产品的清平农贸市场，而扬名于海内外。其次在和平西路以南有大型中药材批发市场，清平路是清平街市的所在地，和平西路至十八甫西路两旁有较多售卖宠物商铺，十八甫西路以北则较多售卖观赏鱼类的商铺。
在清平路的中段，昔日有大观河流经，曾经为西关最繁华之地，涌上的八座桥清朝名为“八桥之盛”。今仍有河傍街地名。
清平路171号原有的清平饭店是昔日的一间著名饭店，其创制出的“清平鸡”，有“广州第一鸡”之称。
广州清平中药材市场是国内开办最早的专业市场之一，它坐落在珠江河畔，位于清平路、梯云路十字交汇处，市场面积达广州清平中药材市场，有商铺1500多家，它是唯一建立在大都市中心区域的中药材市场。
１９７９年３月，清平农副产品市场正式成立，全长约１公里，占地面积６１７３平方米，场内有固定档位１０３０个，临时档位１０００多个，有６００多个经营品种。其中的清平中药材市场迅速发展起来，成为广州市中药材的重要集散地，也是全国开办最早、唯一位于大都市中心的中药材专业市场。
１９９６年７月，经国家卫生部、国家医药局、国家中医药局、国家工商局批准，清平中药材市场成为全国首批定点中药材专业市场。
２００６年６月，清平中药材市场重新建场布局，并针对市场部分档位在珠玑路占道经营的状况进行整治，拆除了占道经营的３７３个摊档，形成“四场一街”的经营场地，即ｇ场、ｈ场、黎明场、清平东段场及清平路中药材商铺一条街，全部迁入室内经营。总占地面积约１万平方米，业户由最初的１００多户发展到１１６０户，经营的中药材约有５００个品种，包括许多珍贵的滋补性中药材。经营方式以零售为主，兼营批发，２００７年成交额达１０亿元以上。产品远销全国各地、港澳台地区及东南亚等地。
