5 Places to Visit in Melbourne Australia
I was hoping to add 10 places to this video but unfortunately I ran out of time with my flight to Canada leaving tomorrow. All these places are easy to get to and no more than 15 minutes away from the city centre

1) Flinders Street Station
a popular tourist destination in the heart of the city [full video here: ]
2) Royal Botanical Gardens
a roughly 10 min tram ride down St. Kilda road (can take a tram from flinders street station but it will be outside the free tram zone), it can also be a nice walk down. It is free to visit [video coming soon]
3) Queen Victoria Market
can walk or take a tram on Elizabeth St. (is in free tram zone), great for fresh fruit and veggies, souvenirs and some nice views of the city [full video here: ]
4) Melbourne Museum
this is the only paid place on this list but students can get free entry, just need your student card!
5) Victoria State Library
great places to chill and charge your devices, lots of things to see as well. the library is located in the heart of Melbourne. [full video here: ]

Melbourne is famously known for its popular food scene, coffee and laneways. But, stop right there. If you've lived here for as long as we have.. that all gets kinda boring. So, we set out to find some of the craziest and unusual food experiences and Melbourne attractions to cure our boredom.
If you're on the lookout for the best places to eat in Melbourne, I'ma point you straight to Easey's burgers or Panda Hot Pot. Why? Well, the former allows you to devour a burger inside a train carriage mounted to the roof a building and the latter lets you experience hot pot inside a 19th century style Chinese teahouse with all the 'Once upon a time in China' vibes.
Don't even get me started on our Werribee Open Range Zoo Slumber Safari experience. That was just - hands down - one of the most memorable and unique things to do in Melbourne. We went to the African savannah for one night and stayed inside a family glamping tent.

We spend a few days around Werribee,Victoria. We visit the Zoo and upgraded our ticket for a small safari bus tour. Werribee Mansion was a great way to spend a few hours and the scenery at K Road Cliffs was spectacular! There is so much to see in the area, come along with us!

Melbourne, Australia - What To See & Some Great Day Trips To Regional Victoria
In our first episode of PacificTrek in Australia, we explore the City of Melbourne in Victoria and take some day trips into the countryside. From it's artistic laneways, to it's rich history and stunning architecture, Melbourne is a beautiful city to visit. We explore some of what Melbourne's CBD has to offer, from Crown Casino to the State Library of Victoria.
We also head out to places like the Warburton Redwood Forest, and Healesville Sanctuary to Melbourne's East and the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne's South West, where we find a secret place to see Koalas in the wild.
We also spent a week camping in Torquay, enjoying the beach and gorging on Chocolate at the Ocean Road Chocolatery.
Back in Melbourne we take in the sunset while listening to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra play at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and watch the fireworks in Footscray for Chinese New Year.

Werribee Park is the estate of a historical building in Werribee, Australia. It includes Werribee Park Mansion, the Victoria State Rose Garden, formal gardens, the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, the Werribee Open Range Zoo, a sculpture walk and a natural river path which is being grown with the plants of the Kurung Jang Balluk clan who lived on Werribee River. There is also the Mansion Hotel and Conference Centre. The Park was purchased by the Victoria State Government in 1973. It was opened as a tourist attraction in 1977. It is run by Parks Victoria. The mansion and associated built facilities and grounds were listed on the Victorian Heritage Register on 1 April 1987.

Beach at Werribee South remains in its natural state, the water is shallow enough to wade about and dogs are welcome for a swim too.
There is no better place for fishing. Launch your boat at Werribee South Boat Ramp, fish from the jetty or throw in a line from the sand. At the boat ramp you’ll find Pelicans gathering to inspect the fisherman’s catch.
Werribee South Foreshore has a dedicated a place to launch your jets skis and is also perfect for canoeing or kayaking with access to the Werribee River.
Enjoy the children’s playground or make the most of the barbeque area. Opposite Werribee South Foreshore is the Werribee South Caravan Park, a skate park and the popular Anglers Anchorage, where you can pick up a coffee or some fish and chips.
