Wenshan, Yunnan, China
Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, an ethnic autonomous prefecture under the jurisdiction of Yunnan Province, is located in the southeastern part of Yunnan Province on the southwestern border of China, bordering Baise City in Guangxi to the east, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the south, the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture to the west, and Qujing City to the north. The total land area is 31,456 square kilometers.
Wenshan Prefecture has the jurisdiction of Wenshan City, Yanshan County, Xichu County, Malipo County, Maguan County, Qubei County, Guangnan County, Funing County, and the state capital, Wenshan City.
In 111 B.C., Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty set up a county here; in the Ming and Qing dynasties, Guangnan and Kaihua provinces were established.
On December 13, 2018, Wenshan Prefecture was selected for the list of superior areas of Chinese special agricultural products. According to the data of the seventh census, the resident population of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture was 3503218 as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020.
In 2020, the total regional production of the state is 118.512 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4% over 2019, ranking 5th in the province.

We decided to vlog it and show you the best things to do including the Taipei Zoo, riding the Maokong Gondolas, exploring the Zhinan temple complex, going tea tasting in the mountains, and finally eating our way through the Linjiang / Tonghua night market!
Planning your own trip to the Wenshan District of Taipei? Add these to your itinerary!
1. Visit the famous Taipei zoo - the largest zoo in Asia and well known for its panda exhibit.
2. Ride the Maokong gondolas up the mountain! (We recommend taking a standard gondola on the way up and taking the clear bottomed crystal cabins on the way down to avoid crowds!)

麻栗坡縣，是中華人民共和國雲南省文山壯族苗族自治州的下轄縣，位於雲南文山壯族苗族自治州東南部，縣境東北部與富寧、廣南兩縣接壤，北部與西疇縣相鄰，西南部與馬關縣毗連，東南部與越南同文、 安明、官壩、渭川、黃樹皮、河江 5 縣 1 市接壤，國境線長 277 千米，總面積2357平方千米。截止2022年末，麻栗坡縣下轄4鎮7鄉，縣政府駐地位於麻栗坡縣麻栗鎮向陽路29號。全縣常住人口23.69萬。麻栗坡縣地勢西北高、東南低，屬滇東南岩溶高原地貌，具有山河相間、河流深切、地形複雜、地貌類型繁多的特點。氣候類型為高原亞熱帶山地濕潤季風氣候，海拔高差懸殊大，水熱條件分布不均，形成明顯的立體氣候。麻栗坡縣地處紅河中游北岸地區，主要河流有盤龍河、疇陽河、八布河、南利河。麻栗坡縣歷史悠久，建制較晚。新石器時期就有人類繁衍生息。西漢為郡都夢縣地，蜀漢、晉為興古郡進桑縣（後為都縣）地。唐初為黎州地，宋為大理通海都督矣部（後為最寧鎮矣尼迦部）地，元為寧遠州矣尼迦部地，明為阿迷州八寨長官司地（隸屬臨安府），清為開化府牛羊土司地。光緒十二年（1886年）會勘中越邊界，設立界樁，於此駐綠營後設都司。民國3年（1914年）3月改交涉副督辦為特別區對汛督辦。1950年3月設麻栗坡市（隸屬文山專區），1955年12月改市為縣，1958年11月西疇、麻栗坡兩縣合併，1961年10月分開，設麻栗坡縣建制至今。
Malipo County is a county under the jurisdiction of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China. It is located in the southeast of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It borders Funing and Quang Nan counties in the northeast, Xichou County in the north, Machan County in the southwest, and Tongwen, An Minh, Guanba, Weichuan, Huangkuo and Ha Giang Counties and one city in the southeast. The border is 277 kilometers long and covers a total area of 2,357 square kilometers. By the end of 2022, Malipo County has jurisdiction over 4 towns and 7 townships, and the county government is located at No. 29, Xiangyang Road, Malipo Town. The county has a permanent population of 236,900. Malipo County, high in northwest and low in southeast, is a karst plateau landform in southeast Yunnan. It has the characteristics of alternating mountains and rivers, deep rivers, complex topography and various landforms. The climate type is the plateau subtropical mountain humid monsoon climate, the altitude difference is large, the distribution of water and heat conditions is uneven, forming an obvious three-dimensional climate. Malipo County is located in the north bank of the middle reaches of the Red River, the main rivers are Panlong River, Chuyang River, Babu River, Nanli River. Malipo County has a long history and a late establishment. Humans have thrived since the Neolithic period. West Han county dream county land, Shu Han, Jin Xinggu County Jin Sang County (later for the county). In the early Tang Dynasty, it was Li Zhou land, Song for Dali Tonghai Du Yi (later for the most Ning town of Yi Nijia) land, Yuan for Ningyuanzhou Yi Nijia land, Ming for a fan state eight village long court (under Lin 'an Prefecture), Qing for Kaihua Prefecture cattle and sheep chiefdom land. In the 12th year of Guangxu (1886), the Sino-Vietnamese border would be surveyed, boundary stakes would be set up, and the city department would be set up after the green camp. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), the deputy superintendent of negotiation was changed to the special district flood supervisor. In March 1950, Malipo City (under the Wenshan District) was established, and in December 1955, the city was changed into a county, and in November 1958, Xichou and Malipo counties were merged, and in October 1961, they were separated, and Malipo County has been established ever since
