Weifang, Shandong, China
Weifang, known as Weizhou and Weixian in ancient times, alias Iris, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province, and a regional center city of Shandong Peninsula City Cluster, as determined by the State Council's approval. As of 2018, the city has 4 districts, 2 counties, and 6 county-level cities under its jurisdiction, with a total area of 16,167.23 km2, and a resident population of 93,867,052 as of November 1, 2020 at 00:00.
Weifang is located in the western part of Shandong Peninsula, spanning 118°10′-120°01′ E longitude and 35°41′-37°26′ N latitude. Weifang has a temperate monsoon climate, and the landform runs from north to south, from low to high, forming several terraces. Weifang is the kite capital of the world and has been awarded as national model city of environmental protection, national sanitary city, national garden city, national food safety demonstration city, international city of peace, national civilized city, Chinese excellent tourist city, Chinese characteristic charming city, national advanced city of science and technology progress, national model city of recycling economy, national model city of double support, Chinese most happy city, Chinese top 100 cities of foreign trade, etc. On October 20, 2020, it was awarded as a national model city (county) of double support.

This is a video of Weifang traveling through Guangxi Autonomous region of China. I think you will notice no Gweilo 60 in this video and be mildly happy that it is all Weifang. China's INCREDIBLE Weifang Kite Festival (Team UK No Shows, I STEP UP) 潍坊风筝battle英国队没来，我临时替补上阵！
The 19th World Kite Championships took place during the 40th Weifang International Kite Festival, in Shandong Province, China, and I was there to speak to some of the international competitors who had flown in especially to attend.
I also discovered that Team UK hadn't turned up, which meant I had to do the only thing that I could. Step up and represent my country!

Visiting the Great Wall of China is one of the most iconic things to do when you're in Beijing. Walking the Great Wall of China is something everyone should try at least once. You don't have to walk the whole way. Well, you'd have to be pretty fit to do so!
