First we visited the open-air Siam Square One department store and headed for lunch to the most authentic Thai cuisine restaurant. BUT THEN THE REAL FUN BEGAN! Siam Paragon and its Gourmet Market surprised us with its lavish shops followed by the best eats along the way! A DISAPPOINTING END IN VIENTIANE ???????? Laos Travel Vlog
In today's Laos travel vlog, we are in Vientiane — the capital city of Laos. We have only 48 hours to explore before our visas expire and we head back to Thailand.
We intended to visit some popular attractions around the city, but unexpectedly, our plans changed. We attempted to motorbike to Buddha Park but could not do so after two back-to-back interactions with traffic police left us frazzled.
Our last night in Vientiane didn't go as planned, but we enjoyed our time in Laos and are sad to leave after thirty days in this beautiful and culturally rich country.

LAOS Road Trip: We Drove 1000km Across Laos ????????
We are on the final day of our Laos Road trip, where we started in Vientiane and worked our way around the famous route of the Thakhek loop. We are now on our last day of the loop, which starts in the most beautiful area of Laos, overlooking the landscape and limestone cliffs!
After a great start to the day, it’s time to get on the road… we have the longest drive of the trip left! we first complete the loop by returning to our starting point in Thakhek, but then not only do we drive all the way down to Savannakhet, but the following day we continue all the way down south to Pakse. Savannakhet offers the most fantastic accommodation where the sunset takes our breath away! Another amazing couple of days of driving through Laos's beautiful and unexpected country.

วัดถ้ำเขาหลวง สร้างขึ้นในรัชสมัยของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ซึ่งพระองค์มีพระราชประสงค์จะสร้างวัดบนยอดเขา เพื่อถวายแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ซึ่งครั้งหนึ่งเคยเสด็จประพาสมายังถ้ำแห่งนี้ และด้วยมีพระราชดำริว่าถ้ำเขาหลวงนี้ มีความวิจิตรงดงามด้วยมีหินงอกหินย้อยทั่วทั้งผนังถ้ำ ภายในยังมีช่องกว้างที่แสงอาทิตย์สาดส่องเข้ามากระทบแนวหิน ก่อให้เกิดความหลากหลายของสีสันภายในถ้ำ อีกทั้งโพรงหินที่แตกเป็นช่อง ทำให้มีอากาศเย็นสบายและไม่อับชื้น จนสามารถมองเห็นความสวยงามภายในถ้ำได้ทุกซอกทุกมุม
พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวโปรดฯ ให้สร้างบันไดคอนกรีตยาวประมาณ 10 เมตร ตั้งแต่เชิงเขาไปจนถึงเบื้องล่างของถ้ำ และโปรดฯ ให้บูรณะพระพุทธรูปโบราณหลากรูปที่ประดิษฐานอยู่ ณ ถ้ำนี้มาก่อนยุครัตนโกสินทร์ ซึ่งสันนิษฐานว่าพระพุทธรูปโบราณเหล่านี้น่าจะได้มาจากนักจาริกแสวงบุญจากที่ต่าง ๆ นำมาประดิษฐานไว้ อาทิ พระพุทธไสยาสน์ ขนาด 6 เมตร พระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัยองค์ใหญ่ เป็นต้น
ครั้นรัชสมัยของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว เสด็จประพาสมายังเพชรบุรี จึงได้มีพระราชประสงค์ให้จัดสร้างอารามขึ้นภายในถ้ำเขาหลวง เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระชนก โดยทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สร้างพระพุทธรูปเพิ่มเติม ซึ่งในหมู่พระพุทธรูปสร้างใหม่นี้ มีอยู่รูปหนึ่งที่โปรดฯ ให้ประทับตรา ประจำรัชกาลที่ 1-5 ไว้ที่ฐานพระด้วย
ปัจจุบันวัดถ้ำเขาหลวงแห่งนี้ได้มีการบูรณะ และพัฒนาให้มีความสะดวกสบายยิ่งขึ้น โดยการจัดให้มีวิทยากรหรือมีผู้แนะนำเกี่ยวกับความเป็นมาของวัดถ้ำเขาหลวง และร้านค้า เพื่อไว้บริการนักท่องเที่ยว และที่นี่ยังมีฝูงลิงจำนวนมากมาอาศัยอยู่

What is Songkran like in 2022? Was water play banned in Chiang Mai for songkran?
In this video I take a look at downtown Chiang Mai in search of some Songkran spirit… and find out that there are still some locals who can enjoy the festivities.
We finished the day with some pineapple fried rice and a fruit shake.
Maybe Songkran will be better in 2023!

끄라비 에메랄드 풀 그리고 핫 스트림, 그야말로 최상의 투어 코스
끄라비에서 가 보고 싶었던 곳!
아주 많이 예쁘다던 에메랄드 풀 과 노천에 흐르는 신기한 온천이 있다고 해서 가 보았습니다.
푸르른 숲속에 동화에서나 나올 법한 에메랄드 풀의 아름다움에 정말 놀라지 않을 수 없었습니다.
그리고 블루 풀도 정말 믿기지 않을 정도로 푸른 색으로 보석같이 영롱했습니다.
두번째 코스로 들렀던 온천은 뜨끈뜨근한 온도로 하루의 피로를 말끔히 날려 주었습니다.
정말 너무 신기한 것들을 경험했던 행복한 하루였습니다.
