Park Vysoky Zamok (Ukrainian Visokiy Castle) is a park in Lvov (Ukraine), a monument of landscape gardening art of local importance. The park is a part of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine as a national treasure. The High Castle Park was founded in 1835 (according to other sources, in 1853). It is located on the slopes of the Zamkovaya (Knyazhi) Mountain near the Znesenie park. The total area of the park is 36.2 hectares. The plantations of the park are dominated by deciduous species: chestnut, maple, sycamore, ash, linden, birch, poplar, acacia, as well as pine.Consists of two terraces. On the lower terrace there are a gardener's house (1892), a chestnut alley, a restaurant, a lower observation deck, a memorial sign in honor of Maxim Krivonos, as well as a memorial stone erected in honor of the victory of the Polish king Jan III Sobieski over the Turkish army in 1675 on the Lisinichi fields, which seen from this place. To decorate the park here, in the middle of the 19th century, an artificial cave was installed with the inscription August 15, 1841, the entrance to which is guarded by two stone lions of the 17th century from the old Town Hall with the coats of arms of Lviv patrician families on shields.
On the upper terrace there is an artificial mound with a viewing platform (height 413 above sea level), which was poured in 1869-1900 by the Polish public of the city in honor of the 300th anniversary of the Union of Lublin. There are also the remains of the fortress wall of a castle built by Polish kings, from which material was later taken for the construction of a mound in honor of the Union of Lublin. In the upper part of the park, there is the Lviv television center and a television broadcasting tower (192 meters high), and another sculpture of a stone lion, transferred here from the town hall in 1874.
