Imágenes 4k recorriendo en el mes de agosto del año 2022 la zona de la Estación de Trenes de Retiro, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, República Argentina.
La estación de Retiro se erigió según un proyecto realizado por ingenieros y arquitectos ingleses hacia 1908 y se inauguró en 1915. Todas las piezas utilizadas en su construcción fueron fabricadas en el Reino Unido. Su estructura corresponde a las grandes estaciones de pasajeros del siglo XIX. El sector del frente, con sus altos ventanales, sus confiterías y el Gran Hall, tiene la impronta del academicismo francés. El segundo cuerpo, diseñado en torno a la salida y llegada de trenes, fue realizado según un criterio funcionalista en hierro y vidrio, materiales típicos de las edificaciones de la Revolución Industrial. Dos grandes naves paralelas de 250 metros de largo constituyen el sector de andenes. Esta impresionante estructura de hierro fue una de las más grandes del mundo en su época. Con los años, fue restaurada en varias oportunidades y sufrió diversas remodelaciones, sin perder su fisonomía monumental. En el año 2006 fue declarada Monumento Histórico Nacional.
La Villa 31 o Barrio 31 es un barrio de emergencia ubicado en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Está repartido entre la Comuna 1, que contiene al barrio de Retiro, y la Comuna 2, correspondiente a Recoleta. El Barrio Mugica, también conocido por diferentes denominaciones -siendo Villa 31 y 31bis algunas de las más populares- existe desde 1932. Allí fue cuando inmigrantes y obreros comenzaron a poblar la zona aprovechando la cercanía con el puerto de Buenos Aires. Durante décadas su población fue creciendo y aumentando de manera exponencial debido a la llegada de inmigrantes del interior del país y de países limítrofes. Se originó en 1932 como un asentamiento informal posterior a la crisis del año 1929 y a partir de allí se sucedieron diversos intentos de erradicación por parte de las autoridades, aunque éstos nunca lograron eliminarla por completo. Si bien no es el asentamiento irregular más grande de la Ciudad, es el más emblemático por su ubicación estratégica, ya que se encuentra junto al principal centro de trasbordo de pasajeros de la Capital y a escasos metros de los barrios más cotizados.

Floresta es un barrio ubicado hacia el oeste de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, capital de la Argentina. Su día es el 29 de agosto, cuando en 1857 estacionó la locomotora La Porteña en el paraje La Floresta.
Durante muchos años fue solo un área quintas y lagunas, formadas por el arroyo Maldonado y por las lluvias, donde se practicaba la pesca.
El Ferrocarril Oeste de Buenos Aires llegó en el año 1857 y a esa estación se la denominó «La Floresta».1 La estación tuvo tres nombres, el 10 de agosto de 1888 cambió su nombre por el de Vélez Sársfield, y se llamó así hasta el 10 de febrero de 1944 que se la denominó nuevamente Floresta, sin el La como artículo. La estación cabecera de este ferrocarril estaba donde hoy se erige el Teatro Colón.[cita requerida]
De Floresta partió el primer colectivo, que aún recorre la avenida Rivadavia desde la calle Lacarra hasta Primera Junta, aunque el punto de partida actualmente hoy esté dentro de los límites del barrio Vélez Sársfield.
