Arrifana Beach Aljezur Algarve Portugal
This beach is located in a beautiful cove in the shape of a shell, sheltered from the cold north and swells of the north, associated with a small fishing village.
The sand is extensive, with more than 500 meters, it is bordered by imposing black cliffs, carved in schist. Looking south, a dark and narrow gravel rising from the sea stands out in the landscape; it is the Pedra da Agulha that has become an icon of the Vincentian coast.
There are good conditions for diving at the northern end of the beach, next to the fishing port, which is also one of the best beaches for surfing and bodyboarding. The panoramic view of the Fortress of Arrifana (currently in ruins), at the top of the northern cliff, is breathtaking.
At Ponta da Atalaia, famous for its barnacles, there are traces of a Muslim Ribat, a convent-fortress of great archaeological value.
Note: Given the possibility of landslides and rocks coming off, it is recommended that you keep a safe distance from the cliffs.
Road access is tarmacked from the southern entrance to Aljezur (EN 120), heading towards the beach for approximately 8 km. Ample and orderly parking at the top of the cliff, before heading down to the beach. Restricted road traffic and parking next to the beach. Support equipment (restaurant, toilet and recreational support – surf school) and surveillance during the bathing season. Orientation: west / southwest.

The Fortress of Arrifana is a military monument, located in the town of Arrifana, in the municipality of Aljezur, in the Algarve region, in Portugal. It was built in 1635 to protect the coastal strip in the Arrifana area, having been the subject of several rebuilding works throughout its history, mainly after the destruction caused by the 1755 earthquake. It went into decline at the end of the 18th century, and in 1861 was already completely abandoned. The fortress is located on a promontory, about 70 m above sea level.

Caparica - Beach Train to Fonte da Telha
kleiner zug, (max 30 pers) von Caparica City bis nach Fonte Da Telha. die fahrt kostet einfach 4.50 eur, hin und zurück 7.50. in september fährt der letzte zug um 7.00 uhr in Fonte Da Telha los. die wagons sind NICHT gefedert, ist ziemlich hart für die bahnscheiben... aber die fahrt von 25 min ist echt schön. es sind etwa 20 haltestellen.
a small train going from Caparica City to Fonte Da Telha for max 30 persons. the ticket for one way ist 4.50 eur foor the round trip 7.50 eur. those wagons doesn't have suspension!!! it maid be hard for the spinal disks, yeah it hurts! last train to caparica is at 7... nice ride!

Albufeira lagoon is situated on the western side of the Setúbal Peninsula, in between Caparica and Espichel Cape, at about 20km south of Lisboa.
This is a place of unique beauty, combining the purity of the ocean, with the lagoon waters and extensive pine tree fields.
The lagoon offers great conditions for the practice of sport fishing, sailing or windsurf.
It is formed by two main ponds connected by a narrow canal: the small pond, less deep, and the big pond with 15 meters maximum of depth.

É um local de invulgar beleza, onde se conjuga o mar a lagoa e extensos pinhais.A Lagoa tem características invulgares e óptimas para a prática da pesca desportiva, vela e windsurf.
É formada por dois corpos lagunares principais ligados por um canal estreito, sinuosos e pouco profundo: a Lagoa Pequena, mais interior e menos profunda e a Lagoa Grande, com profundidades máximas de cerca de 15m.
Fica a uma hora de Lisboa a lagoa mais bonita de Portugal.

TO THE VILLAS AND CASTLE! Aljezur - Vale Del telha / Algarve Portugal 2017
Portugal 2017 (: Seeing Aljezur and Vale Del Telha in this video along with the villas. My uncle has done a superb job in renovating his secluded house, I hope the video does it justice.
The video is mainly just about the location of the holiday. The first being my nans incredible villa, then onto my uncles awesome country abode, following this is the Castle in Aljezur which is worth the walk (or drive) for the view, and finally just some of the stuff in Vale Del Telha. The best being the west facing cliffs for the epic sunsets.
