PRAIA DA AMOREIRA, situa-se no concelho de Aljezur, fazendo parte do Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina e encontra-se associada à foz da Ribeira de Aljezur, de grande beleza natural. Duas panorâmicas imponentes marcam a paisagem, a norte o recorte negro da arriba talhada em xisto e a sul, na encosta verdejante do vale, podem ver-se formações rochosas, vestígios duma antiga duna, agora fossilizada. O acesso à praia é feito através de passadiços de madeira e reúne o melhor de dois mundos: a praia marítima propriamente dita e a ribeira formando uma extensa lagoa que na maré baixa cria pequenas piscinas naturais. PRAIA DA AMOREIRA, is located in the municipality of Aljezur, part of the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina and is linked to the mouth of the Ribeira de Aljezur, of great natural beauty. There are two impressive panoramic landscapes just north of the cut black cliffs carved in schist and south and the verdant slopes of the valley with rock formations, remnants of an ancient dune, now fossilized. The beach access are wooden walkways and brings together the best of both worlds: the beach and sea itself that forms an extensive lagoon at low tide that creates small pools. Best Beach in the Algarve!!
Hello to you travelers, finally I went back home on leave and I could not stop myself from sharing the best parts of the country where I was born. I am very proud of it and this time was time to show you probably the most beautiful place in the Algarve, apart from the cold everything else was amazing.
Its is called Odeceixe a small village that helds one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. the sun was setting and the colors were just amazing. REMEMBER I have been already to Mauritius, Seychelles and other places that people call paradise and for me to say that this place is much better its because it is really worth it.

Brief description about the city:
The attractive village of ODECEIXE tumbles down a hillside opposite the broad valley of the Odeceixe River, below the winding, tree-lined main coast road. Sleepy out of season, its character changes in summer when it attracts a steady stream of surfers, campervanners and families, lured by a superb beach and a very laidback atmosphere. Everything centres on the single main street and a small square, Largo 1 de Maio, where you’ll find some lively bars, plenty of cafés, a couple of minimarkets, post office, bank and craft shops.
The beach, Praia de Odeceixe, is 4km west of the village, reached down a verdant river valley, the fields either side neatly cultivated with corn. A road-train trundles between village and beach during July and August (approx hourly 10am–5pm), but it’s a lovely walk along the road as well, following the river to a broad, sandy bay framed by low cliffs. It is one of the most sheltered beaches along this stretch of coast, offering superb surfing and relatively safe swimming, especially when the tide is out.

PLAYA de AMOREIRA
La playa de Amoreira es un arenal semisalvaje, ubicado en Aljezur, en la región de El Alentejo. No sólo permite disfrutar del sol y la arena, sino que es posible disfrutar de un sencillo sendero circular desde el que se aprecian los acantilados, la vegetación y las amplias rasas mareales.

A praia de Vale Figueiras está situada no concelho de Aljezur no Algarve (Portugal).
Integrada no Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, é uma praia extensa com mais de 600 metros de comprimento, sem vigilância e completamente natural.
O acesso faz-se a partir da estrada N268, que liga Aljezur a Vila do Bispo, são 5Km, grande parte feito em terra batida.
A ondulação costuma ser moderada, especialmente durante a maré cheia, e por isso é procurada por praticantes de desportos náuticos (surfistas).
A praia Vale Figueiras fica a Norte da conhecida praia da Bordeira ( e a Sul da praia da Arrifana (

La playa de Vale Figueiras se encuentra en el municipio de Aljezur, Algarve (Portugal).
Integrada en el Parque Natural del Suroeste Alentejano y Costa Vicentina, es una extensa playa con más de 600 metros de longitud, desatendida y completamente natural.
El acceso se realiza desde la carretera N268, que une Aljezur con Vila do Bispo, son 5Km, gran parte de ella por tierra.
El oleaje suele ser moderado, especialmente durante la marea alta, por lo que es buscado por los practicantes de deportes acuáticos (surfistas).
