This is our (HereWeGo) summer day trip to Gävle, Sweden vlog from Stockholm. The city of Gävle is situated 2 hours drive north of Stockholm. We visited Gävle as part of overnight stop on our way to further north of Sweden. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty and charm of this small town. The city is dotted with many beautiful art pieces and sculptures. It is also home to the famous Gävlebocken(Gävle goat) which is the world's biggest straw goat and is built every year before Christmas. We particularly enjoyed the old town part called Gamla Gefle, with its charming cobblestone streets and colorful wooden houses decorated with gorgeous blooming roses.

The Great Gävle Goat - 10 Swedish Words #276
The Gävle Goat (Gävlebocken) is giant Christmas display of a Goat in the town of Gävle in southern Norrland. It has been erected since 1966 and has become famous because it most often burns down from vandalism. But history tells us that other forms of vandalism such as crushing it with cars, throwing it in the river and burning it a second time after it has been rebuilt. In this travel vlog I went to Gävle to see the Gävle goat for the first time with my own eyes. To see what all the fuss is about.
My channel is packed with Swedish tutorials and language challenges where you can learn everything from nouns and verbs to grammar and special Swedish words. I also talk about places in Sweden and where you as a tourist can visit. Den 25 september 2012 invigde Sveriges och Norges infrastrukturministrar nya Europaväg E16 på Kongsvingers fästning. Därmed har E16 genom Nordirland, Skottland och Norge förlängts österut från Oslo/Gardermoen-regionen genom Nordvärmland och Dalarna till Gävle -- till stort gagn för näringslivsutvecklingen i regionen.
Gävle-Dalaområdet är redan i dag Sveriges största exportindustri- och turistnäringsregion utanför storstadsområdena. Parallellt med att regionens gruvnäring expanderar och turistnäringen nysatsar, kommer kraven på en god infrastruktur att bli ännu högre. Den nyinvigda E16 är ett nödvändigt tillskott för den transportintensiva exportindustrin och den framtidsinriktade turistnäringen.
E16 blir nu ett starkt bidrag till förbättrade öst-västliga förbindelser och näringslivsutvecklingar med Norge och Oslo/Gardermoen-regionen. Därifrån går reguljära godstrafiklinjer österut till Finland och vidare till Ryssland, men även söderut mot främst Tyskland.
