Hiking from Hoenderloo to Otterlo in Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe
National Park De Hoge Veluwe in Gelderland in The Netherlands is a great place to go exploring, walking and biking! For this walk I decided to walk from East to West following a trail from Hoenderloo to Otterlo.
As it was a particularly cold and misty morning, the forest looked very spooky. Walking from Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, to the Statue of General de Wet and through to Otterlo, this was a great day out in De Veluwe.

The river IJssel is 116 km long, branching from the Neder Rijn (Lower Rhine) near Arnhem and flowing into the IJsselmeer near Kampen. The IJssel is connected to the Rhine and carries about one tenth of the Rhine's water. The Hanseatic towns of Hasselt, Kampen, Zwolle, Hattem, Deventer, Zutphen and Doesburg are the lovely pearls on the sparkling River IJssel that many describe as the most beautiful river in the Netherlands.
De rivier de IJssel is een aftakking van de Rijn bij Westervoort. Langs de IJssel liggen Hanzesteden als Zutphen, Deventer en Kampen.

Walking tour of City park Valkenberg Breda, Netherlands【4K】Full
Stadspark Valkenberg
This beautiful city park connects the Breda station with the city center.
When the weather is nice, you can find plenty of sun worshipers sitting on a terrace or lying on a towel.
Moreover, the park is regularly used for various events.
Until 1812, this park served as a castle garden for the Heren van Breda. The park owes its name to a falcon house that stood on its edge and from which the castle dwellers and their guests practiced the falconry.

Cannenburgh Castle | The Netherlands #7
A visit to Cannenburgh castle in the Dutch town of Vaassen. The castle, which is situated 8 kilometres (5 miles) north of Apeldoorn, was built in the sixteenth century on the fundaments of an older medieval castle. The (in)famous Guelders field marshal Maarten van Rossum ordered the building of the castle in 1543. After his death, it came into the hands of the family Van Isendoorn. The family of Isendoorn was one of the few noble families in the northern Low Countries that remained Catholic. The castle was largely neglected over the course of the twentieth-century until it was bought and restored by the Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen Foundation.
Camping Helfterkamp in Vaassen #86
Weer een weekendje Veluwe :-) , deze keer in Vaassen familie camping Helfterkamp.hij staat aangeven als kleine camping .....het is best een flinke camping . Netjes , groen voor de kinders zat te doen . Wij gaan uiteraard vooral die richting op om in de bossen te wandelen en te fietsen . Nou dat kun je er volop .
Zo zijn we bij Kasteel Cannenburch geweest erg mooi zo ook de prachtige tuinen , die waren jammer genoeg gesloten .
Zalig gefietst door de kroondomeinen . Een lekker weekend , met zon , wolken en een buitje .

Kasteel DE HAAR Castle in the Netherlands
In the centre of the Netherlands (near Utrecht and only a 30 minutes drive from Amsterdam) lies De Haar Castle.
A visit to De Haar is a journey of discovery to a marvellous world. There are only a few castles in Europe that have the same ideal image of a medieval fortress with towers and ramparts, with canals, gates and drawbridges as De Haar. The castle was entirely restored and partially rebuilt in the late 19th century and it rises like a real fairy-tale castle from a park with large trees, surrounded by old gardens and ponds.
Yet this enchanting oasis of harmony and peace is not far from the daily bustle of Utrecht city. The unique complex has something to offer for everyone. Young and old, for the knowledgeable art lover and the casual visitor. De Haar is an unusual and fascinating mixture of the medieval and the modern comforts of the late 19th century.

Rosendael castle gives a wonderful picture of what life was like in a castle in earlier times.
Rozendaal is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. The town is next to Arnhem and Velp.

How do we deal with the imminent population shrinkage? The Netherlands stands at a turning point. After a long period of growth, we first stifle for a century in a period of shrinkage. In Drenthe, a primary school must close again because there are insufficient children while in the West many young families look back in the old towns. The decline of the population and the trek from the shrinkage areas poses new questions. Unlike before, we will no longer be led by the church or by the government when it comes to the direction of our country. But history teaches that we always find ways to solve issues. We are finally able to see the end of problems in the area of Amsterdam Zuid-oost (south west), and to say hello to a brighter future.
The Netherlands from above shows us a country from a spectacular perspective. From the sky it is possible to see how the Netherlands changes through the seasons, and how in parallel they form the determining moments of our own life cycle. Through data visuals, impressive aerial images and portraits of people on the ground, the second series of the Netherlands from above outlines an image of how time has changed our country and how we move in it. The way we live from day to day, and from generation to generation in this country reflects our resilient mentality. The Netherlands from above season 2 tells us the story of seeing and taking opportunities, falling and rising up again, reinventing the wheel again and again. Where the first series was an ode to the makeable Netherlands, this second series is an ode to our resilience.
