Usulután ubicado en la zona oriental es uno de los catorce departamentos que conforman la República de El Salvador.
Jiquilisco tiene una extensión territorial de 429.99 kilómetros cuadrados, tiene una población de más de 49 mil habitantes y se encuentra a 35 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar. Posee el título de Ciudad, concedido en 1928 y se encuentra a una distancia de 97 kilómetros de San Salvador.
Jiquilisco es un municipio del departamento de Usulután en El Salvador. Limita al norte con los municipios de San Agustín, San Francisco Javier y Ozatlán; al este con los municipios de Ozatlán, Usulután y Puerto El Triunfo; al sur con el Océano Pacífico; y al oeste, con el municipio de Tecoluca.

Zarpar desde Puerto El Triunfo, para vivir toda una aventura por la Bahía de Jiquilisco es una actividad que todo turista puede vivir en la zona oriental de El Salvador.
Desde este lugar, puedes partir en lancha hacia las islas que conforman esta impòrtante sitio Ramsar, apreciar el volcán de San Miguel, pasearte por los manglares y observar las aves que se crucen en tu travesía.
Otras actividades características de este lugar es la pesca artesanal, paseos en kayak y liberación de tortugas.
Descubre el manglar más grande de El Salvador en la Bahía de Jiquilisco, en Usulután, un área que alberga la mayor cantidad de aves marinas en el país, muchas de ellas en peligro de extinci ón.
Desde Puerto El Triunfo o Puerto Parada, podrás embarcarte para iniciar una gran aventura, ya que sus paisajes deslumbran con su belleza natural. Además, navegar por sus aguas mientras observas los manglares, es una gran experiencia.

Amigooos!! el día de hoy les traigo un video en el que he visitado uno de los destinos turísticos más hermosos en el departamento de Usulután, un nacimiento de agua que con el tiempo ha formado diversas piletas que hoy por hoy resultan ser de lo mejor en esta zona del país.
Se encuentra ubicado a poquito más de 17 km del centro de la Ciudad de Usulután, siguiendo la ruta hacia el espino, después de 3 km desde el desvío, se encuentra el respectivo acceso a este fabuloso lugar llamado Monte fresco.

➢ Beto's Restaurante La Libertad - hands down the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to by the ocean (MUST GO! no reservations needed)
➢ Dale Dale Café - casual lunch spot with an outdoor patio & direct views of beach
➢ Cadejo Brewing Company - local beers right by the ocean, amazing food as well
➢ Mopelia - restaurant in center of town with craft beer and live music on certain nights
➢ PARGOS Restaurante - fresh seafood dishes right by Playa El Tunco, can watch the surfers
➢ Point Break Cafe - espresso drinks, cold brew, & light bites
???? Transportation:
➢ You don't necessarily need a car! If you rent one, you will certainly have more flexibility to go where you want and drive to different beaches. The roads are also easy to drive on. However, we used Uber the entire time and it worked. Only thing to note is that there aren't many Ubers available, so often times we waited 20-30 minutes just for one. **If you plan on staying in El Tunco most of the time, the little town and main roads are very walkable.
