¿Puedo viajar con comida en el avión?
Sí. Es permitido viajar con alimentos en el avión, sin embargo, las reglas varían y encontrarás importantes restricciones. A continuación te explico lo referente a viajes nacionales.
¿Puedo viajar con líquidos y pastas?
¿Puedo viajar con mole? ¿Puedo viajar con caldos? ¿Puedo llevar salsas? Son preguntas frecuentes. En este caso ocurrirá lo mismo que con otros artículos como jabón líquido o pasta. Para volar, es necesario que cualquier líquido, pasta o similar mayor de 100 ml. vaya en la bodega del avión. Mientras que líquidos menores podrían viajar en el equipaje de mano, siempre y cuando sean permitidos en tu destino.
¿Puedo viajar con bebidas alcohólicas, refrescos y otras bebidas?
Sí. Es posible viajar con bebidas alcohólicas y de otro tipo, mientras en tu destino sea permitido. En este caso ocurre lo mismo que en el resto de líquidos. Si son menores de 100 ml pueden ir en el equipaje de mano y de más de 100 ml deben ir en la bodega del avión.
Importante. Esto no aplica en los artículos que compres dentro del aeropuerto, pasando el área de seguridad.
¿Puedo viajar con alimentos perecederos?
La mayoría de las aerolíneas no permiten viajar con alimentos perecederos en la bodega del avión. Esto es por temas sanitarios y no importa si el viaje es nacional o internacional. Por lo tanto, alimentos sólidos perecederos como bocadillos podrían pasar el área de seguridad pero deben ir contigo.
¿Puedo viajar con especias y otros polvos?
Alimentos como café molido, mole, chile, leche en polvo, chocolate, polvos para agua entre otros, que en su conjunto sean mayores a 350 ml. / 12 oz. no podrán ser transportados como equipaje de mano; deberán ir en el equipaje documentado.
¿Puedo llevar comida para viajes internacionales?
Sí, sin embargo, aquí las reglas serán más estrictas y variables. Ya que dependen de país a país. Los distintos departamentos de sanidad de los países prohiben normalmente viajar con productos de origen agrícola, acuícola, y pecuario. A esto se refieren con transportar tierra, plantas, frutos o similares.

In order to get to the farthest and most authentic Embera Indian tribe of the province of Panama, we have to cross the lake Alajuela and trace the river San Juan de Pequení aboard a real Indian canoe, made from a single tree.
It is a journey through the tropical rainforest of Panama, surrounded by birds and abundant flora.
Sometimes the river can be so shalow that our Indian friends should get out of the canoe to push it through the stones.
