노르웨이 전역엔 빙하가 흘러 내려 만든 호수가 20만개가 있다. 그래서 호수의 나라라 불리기도 한다. 자연과 그 속의 사람들이 참 잘 어울린다. 10대 소녀가 호수물에 풍덩 뛰어든다. 호수 물은 키를 훨씬 넘도록 깊은데, 이 곳에서 수영을 오래 했댄다. 아이들의 수영하는 모습을 보니 나도 뛰어들고 싶어졌다. 호수물이 보기보다 많이 차가운 것에 놀랐다. 이 곳 사람들은 전혀 추워 보이지 않는 것에 더 놀랐다. 겨울엔 아이스하키를 하고, 여름엔 수영을 하는 아름다운 호수가 집 옆이라니 참 근사하다.

Ulsteinvik to Flø August 2021
Hello everyone.
This video is from a short trip from Ulsteinvik to Ytre Flø (Ytre Floe).
From Ytre Flø there is a hiking trail in scenic surroundings. This is a popular hiking trail for locals. There is decent parking on Ytre Flø. From the car park, the trip is on foot on a gravel road in flat terrain. After about 1.5 km the gravel road ends and you come to a gate. The trip to the gate, to the end of the gravel road, takes about 30 minutes round trip. There are livestock grazing in the area, so you have to close gates and fences after you. There is a good path on to the characteristic Hoksteinen. Some believe that the Hokstein indicates the high stone. Great scenery and the sunset out there is recommended.

Den hisnande Trollstigen är en spännande upplevelse som garanterat ger fjärilar i magen. Den är också en av Norges nationella turistvägar.
Trollstigen är en smal väg med en brant lutning på 9 procent, och kränger sig upp till Stigrøra, 858 meter över havet, via 11 hårresande hårnålskurvor. På vissa ställen går vägen in i berget, på andra stöds den av stenmurar. En imponerande stenbro tar bilarna över vattenfallet Stigfossen.

The world's most beautiful drive: The Atlantic Road - Norway
It's a lot of rainy days on the west cost of Norway. But some days are just perfect. On one of those I got a friend of mine, Jürgen, to capture some drone footage of me driving along The Atlantic Road. It's know as one of - or the most - spectacular and beautiful road you can drive. It's absolutely worth a visit if you are around in these areas.

This day we had wonderful weather. Sunny and free of clouds. We rode from Lom via Grotli, Gerianger and Åndalsnes before we arrived in Ulsteinvik. We also stopped by Dalsnibba. A perfect lookout point over Geiranger. Located 1476 meters above sea level. Beautiful view. You can find the route for this day in the description below.
We spent the night at Flø Feriesenter in Flø. Just outside Ulsteinvik. I can really recommend this camp site. Perfectly located next to the ocean.

오슬로항 선착장이다. 이 배는 오슬로만을 한 바퀴 돌아 원래의 장소로 돌아오는 일종의 순환 유람선인데 이 배를 타고 민속 박물관으로 향했다. 배를 타고 가는 동안 바라다 보이는 오슬로는 숲 속에 쌓여있는 도시라는 말이 실감나게 했다. 10분쯤 배를 타고 가니 조그맣고 예쁜 섬 하나가 나왔다. 오슬로 서쪽에 있는 ‘뷔그데이’라는 곳인데, 섬인줄 알았는데 반대쪽은 육지로 연결돼있는 반도라고 한다. 1894년 만들어진 노르웨이 민속 박물관은 노르웨이 각 지방 전통양식으로 지어진 목조가옥 170여 채가 전시돼 있다고 한다. 지붕 위에 왜 풀이 있을까? 궁금했는데 워낙 추운 지방이라서 보온을 위해 풀을 심었다고 한다. 통나무 집 안은 천정이 무척 낮게 느껴졌는데 이것도 겨울철 추위 때문이라고 한다. 당시의 가옥 구조와 사용하던 가재도구들도 그대로 보존돼 있었다. “이것은 풀로 엮은 지붕을 만드는데 쓰인 자작나무 껍질입니다. 지붕에는 12겹으로 이 자작나무 껍질을 깔고 그 위에 풀을 얹어 놓았습니다.” 12세기 초에 지었다는 스타브 교회는 민속 박물관에서 제일 소중한 건물이라고 하는데 지붕 위의 용머리 조각들을 보면서 바이킹 시대의 흔적을 느낄 수 있었다. 1000여개의 목조교회 중 현재 28개만 남았다고 하는데 그 중에 하나가 바로 스타브 교회다. 스웨덴과 노르웨이를 통치하던 오스카 2세가 교회를 이곳으로 옮겼다고 한다. 벽에 그려진 빛 바랜 그림들이 이 교회의 역사를 말해주고 있었다.
