Azerbaijan is the largest country in the Caucasus and variously considered part of Europe or Asia. The country lies on the Caspian Sea. It borders Russia and Georgia to the north, Armenia to the west, and Iran in the south. Through the autonomous exclave of Nakhchivan, which lies between Armenia and Iran, Azerbaijan also shares a short border with Turkey.

Azerbaijan is known for having nine of the 11 defined ecological zones. Much of the country is temperate year-round. Nation-wide the average temperature for the year is 14-15°C (57-59°F). The Caucasus Mountains protect the country from the Arctic air masses that affect Russia in winter while the Caspian Sea shields it from the hot, dry air of Central Asia in the summer.
Cabbage, grape leaves, and eggplant wrapped meat (kelem, yarpaq, badimjan - dolmasi), kabab (kebab), rice with different variety of toppings (plov - It is said that plov is the king of Azerbaijani cuisine), gutabs and meatballs (kufta) are some of the several specialties of Azerbaijan.
Some local drinks include ayran (a yogurt drink based on sour milk) and sherbet (made from rose petals or saffron). There are also different sorts of quite decent wines produced from local grapes and a wide array of mineral waters from natural springs. In some areas of Azerbaijan the markets offer lemonades (limonat/dushes) made from pears or taragon.
There is a good selection of hotels in Baku, including many Western chains, but options elsewhere in the country are limited. Prices for the hotels start from USD60 and higher. Rental apartments might be a good choice as they are cheaper than hotels and sometimes are even more comfortable.

NAFTALAN OIL
Naftalan is a town located 320 kilometers north-west of Azerbaijan’s capital of Baku. It is famous for its crude oil baths which have unique therapeutic properties. Naftalan oil is the only oil in the world which is used for its thermal qualities as it contains special compounds that have curative properties. It cures a wide variety of diseases such as psoriasis, arthritis, rheumatism, eczema, various skin diseases and so forth.
Naftalan crude oil is mainly used to cure the following SKIN diseases:

????Это один из самых удалённых районов республики. Расстояние от Махачкалы – 213 км, доехать на машине можно за 5 часов
????Тляратинский район расположен вдоль главного водораздельного Кавказского хребта. Это отличает природу Тляратинского высокогорья от природы большинства районов Дагестана. Горы Кавказа здесь не платообразные, а конусные
????Это единственный район республики, который граничит сразу с 2-умя государствами: с Азербайджаном и Грузией
????Название района произошло от слова Тлярата, что переводится у воды (или у реки). И действительно, Тляратинский район полон ручьёв, родников и рек. Главная река района – Джурмут, основной приток Аварского Койсу
????Это один из самых лесных в Дагестане. Леса занимают треть района!
????Значительная часть красот района находится в приграничной зоне, в том числе райцентр. Поэтому попасть туда можно, лишь заранее оформив пропуск в приграничную зону
????Всего на территории Тляратинского района 89 населённых пунктов. 76 из них расположены выше 1500 м над уровнем моря, а 33 села – на высоте более 2000 м. Многие Тляратинские села Дагестана имеют удивительное расположение
????Экономика Тляратинского района – это, в основном, сельское хозяйство. 80% составляют личные хозяйства. Местные жители выращивают огороды прямо на склонах гор и занимаются животноводством.
????Самая большая проблема района – это природные катаклизмы. Во время сильных ливней по всему району реки выходят из берегов, размывает и засыпает дороги, обрываются провода и связь с внешним миром (поэтому район частенько попадает в новости Дагестана). А зимой дороги и провода страдают из-за лавин
????Почти половину района занимает Тляратинский заказник — охраняемая территория вокруг реки Джурмуи и её притоков (бассейн реки Аварское Койсу)
Особенно меня впечатлила долина реки Баараор! (даже звучит круто!) Вдоль неё расположен один из лучших туристических маршрутов в Дагестане. Тут невероятно красивая природа!

The best of central Lisbon, PORTUGAL | travel vlog 3
Lisbon, Portugal, is a very charming city, full of history and viewpoints. In this video, you'll see some of the best things to do in town.
On our way to Castelo de São Jorge (Saint George or Sao Jorge Castle), we try an award-winning custard tart at Pastelaria de Santo Antonio. So delicious! ???? The castle is also known as Lisbon castle. As it's located at the highest point of the hill, we then start walking downhill and stopping at amazing viewpoints.
At Miradouro da Graça (Graça viewpoint) we also see Graça church and the convent. 10 min away, and with a totally different view, the Miradouros of Santa Luzia and das Portas do Sol (Santa Luzia viewpoint and Portas do Sol viewpoint).
Then we arrive at the most charming part of Alfama, the oldest and most traditional neighborhood in Lisbon, Portugal. After getting lost in the tiny streets, we try ginjinha (or ginja), a locally produced cherry liquor. Finally, and already downhill, Saint Anthony church. Inside the church, you can see the room where Saint Anthony was born in 1195.
When you visit Portugal, don't miss this itinerary. Certainly some of the best attractions in Lisbon!

I Met Some Kind People in Kayseri | Solo Travel | Kayseri, Turkey Travel Vlog ???????? (Ep. 5)
In this video, I visit Kayseri, Turkey. The most unique part of this city, in my opinion, is the giant market (bazaar) in the center of the city. It's absolutely massive! You can find just about anything there!
After walking through the Kayseri bazaar for about 45 minutes, I walked across the street to the castle of Kayseri. There's not a whole lot to do there. You can walk around and look at the walls, grab a cup of coffee/tea, or visit the museum.
Just as I was exiting the castle, I heard 2 men try to get my attention. I approached them and they started to have a conversation with me. After just a few minutes, one of the men offered to show me around the city. We had such a fun afternoon exploring!
We walked to a couple old mosques which have been transformed in to small education centers - one man wrote my name on a piece of paper in a really unique style, we stopped to buy water at a meat shop and the man offered some samples of his products, we also visited a clock tower, and also stopped to have tea as the sun went down.
Soon later, the man needed to return home, and 2 other men sat next to me and started talking to me. We sat for a very long time and chatted about so many interesting topics.
The people of Kayseri were very kind and hospitable! I really enjoyed my random walking tour ????????

Takht-e Soleyman
The archaeological site of Takht-e Soleyman, in north-western Iran, is situated in a valley set in a volcanic mountain region. The site includes the principal Zoroastrian sanctuary partly rebuilt in the Ilkhanid (Mongol) period (13th century) as well as a temple of the Sasanian period (6th and 7th centuries) dedicated to Anahita. The site has important symbolic significance. The designs of the fire temple, the palace and the general layout have strongly influenced the development of Islamic architecture.
Outstanding Universal Value
Brief Synthesis
The archaeological ensemble called Takht-e Soleyman (“Throne of Solomon”) is situated on a remote plain surrounded by mountains in northwestern Iran’s West Azerbaijan province. The site has strong symbolic and spiritual significance related to fire and water – the principal reason for its occupation from ancient times – and stands as an exceptional testimony of the continuation of a cult related to fire and water over a period of some 2,500 years. Located here, in a harmonious composition inspired by its natural setting, are the remains of an exceptional ensemble of royal architecture of Persia’s Sasanian dynasty (3rd to 7th centuries). Integrated with the palatial architecture is an outstanding example of Zoroastrian sanctuary; this composition at Takht-e Soleyman can be considered an important prototype.
An artesian lake and a volcano are essential elements of Takht-e Soleyman. At the site’s heart is a fortified oval platform rising about 60 metres above the surrounding plain and measuring about 350 m by 550 m. On this platform are an artesian lake, a Zoroastrian fire temple, a temple dedicated to Anahita (the divinity of the waters), and a Sasanian royal sanctuary. This site was destroyed at the end of the Sasanian era, but was revived and partly rebuilt in the 13th century. About three kilometres west is an ancient volcano, Zendan-e Soleyman, which rises about 100 m above its surroundings. At its summit are the remains of shrines and temples dating from the first millennium BC.
Takht-e Soleyman was the principal sanctuary and foremost site of Zoroastrianism, the Sasanian state religion. This early monotheistic faith has had an important influence on Islam and Christianity; likewise, the designs of the fire temple and the royal palace, and the site’s general layout, had a strong influence on the development of religious architecture in the Islamic period, and became a major architectural reference for other cultures in both the East and the West. The site also has many important symbolic relationships, being associated with beliefs much older than Zoroastrianism as well as with significant biblical figures and legends.
The 10-ha property also includes Tepe Majid, an archaeological mound culturally related to Zendan-e Soleyman; the mountain to the east of Takht-e Soleyman that served as quarry for the site; and Belqeis Mountain 7.5 km to the northeast, on which are the remains of a Sasanian-era citadel. The archaeological heritage of the Takht-e Soleyman ensemble is further enriched by the Sasanian town (which has not yet been excavated) located in the 7,438-ha landscape buffer zones.
Criterion (i):Takht-e Soleyman is an outstanding ensemble of royal architecture, joining the principal architectural elements created by the Sasanians in a harmonious composition inspired by their natural context.
Criterion (ii):The composition and the architectural elements created by the Sasanians at Takht-e Soleyman have had strong influence not only in the development of religious architecture in the Islamic period, but also in other cultures.
Criterion (iii):The ensemble of Takht-e Soleyman is an exceptional testimony of the continuation of cult related to fire and water over a period of some two and half millennia. The archaeological heritage of the site is further enriched by the Sasanian town, which is still to be excavated.
Criterion (iv):Takht-e Soleyman represents an outstanding example of Zoroastrian sanctuary, integrated with Sasanian palatial architecture within a composition, which can be seen as a prototype.
Criterion (vi): As the principal Zoroastrian sanctuary, Takht-e Soleyman is the foremost site associated with one of the early monotheistic religions of the world. The site has many important symbolic relationships, being also a testimony of the association of the ancient beliefs, much earlier than the Zoroastrianism, as well as in its association with significant biblical figures and legends.

????I started my journey in Seattle Washington. I had an amazing time exploring the city despite the COVID-19 pandemic. This was my first stop in traveling across the United States Roadtrip as a photographer and young traveler.
????And then took the train to Chicago and created a Chicago travel vlog I visited the millennium park, Willis tower, and enjoyed Chicago pizza.
????????I then traveled to New York and visited manhattan that included the empire state building, grand central terminal, Rockefeller center, the statue of liberty, and more!

Assalamu'alaikum Teman teman ,
Di vidio Vantime Channel kali ini aku mau share tentang trip turki 2022,
Pas sampe Airport turki , luar biasa Wa ... Turki Resmi Punya Bandara Terbesar di Dunia.
Turki baru saja memiliki bandara baru dan terbesar di dunia. Bandara bernama Istanbul New Airport atau Bandar Udara Baru Istanbul itu resmi dibuka pada Senin (29/10) dan diresmikan oleh Presiden Turki, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
bandara yang diresmikan bersamaan dengan hari peringatan berdirinya Turki yang ke 95 tahun itu diprediksi mampu menampung sekitar 200 juta penumpang per tahunnya. Bandara baru ini menjadi proyek paling mahal dalam sejarah Turki, karena menghabiskan dana sebesar 11 miliar dolar Amerika.
Meskipun menjadi bandara terbesar di dunia, sayangnya Instanbul New Airport belum beroperasi sepenuhnya. Saat ini bandara tersebut baru mengoperasikan tiga rute domestik dan dua rute internasional hingga akhir tahun.
Penerbangan harian di bandara ini akan dimulai pada 31 Oktober ke ibu kota Turki yaitu Ankara. Kemudian diikuti penerbangan harian ke Izmir dan Antalya, serta ibu kota Azerbaijan, Baku, dan ibu kota Republik Turki Sirpus Utara, Ercan.
Bandara ini diresmikan dengan tujuan untuk membawa dunia lebih dekat dengan pusat persimpangan Asia, Eropa, dan Timur Tengah, ujar Huseyin Kadri Samsunlu, CEO Istanbul Grand Airport.
Dengan diresmikannya bandara baru ini, pada akhir Desember 2018, bandara utama Turki sebelumnya, yaitu Bandara Internasional Ataturk akan menghentikan operasinya. Selanjutnya, semua pusat penerbangan akan berpindah ke Istanbul Grand Airport.
Pada fase pertama setelah diresmikan, bandara ini dapat melayani hingga 90 juta penumpang. Kemudian, di fase selanjutnya Istanbul New Airport akan dapat membawa sekitar 200 juta penumpang per tahun.
bandara terbesar di dunia ini juga dilengkapi peralatan canggih dan teknologi mutakhir, mulai dari peralatan check in hingga landasan pacunya. Nantinya, bandara akan mempunyai 6 landasan pacu yang mampu menampung sekitar 500 pesawat.
Banyaknya penumpang yang dapat ditampung membuat bandara yang memiliki luas sekitar 76 km persegi itu mampu mengalahkan bandara terbesar di dunia sebelumnya, yang dipegang oleh Harsfield-Hackson Airport di Atlanta, Amerika Serikat.
Tantangan kami adalah menjadi yang terbesar dan terbaik, pungkas Samsunlu.
Pada 29 Oktober 2018 silam, Presiden Turki Recep Tayyip Erdogan meresmikan Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA) disebut juga Istanbul New Airport. Bandara megah yang memiliki enam landasan pacu. Oleh ahli, terminal penerbangan ini disebut sebagai yang terbesar di dunia. Sebelum peresmian, tepatnya pada tahun 2017, IGA menempati lahan seluas 823 juta kaki persegi. Saat itu, bandara sudah melayani beberapa penerbangan ke tujuan khusus seperti penerbangan lokal Turki, Siprus, dan Azerbaijan.
Jika turun di bandara ini, kamu akan disuguhkan desain modern dengan lantai-lantai berkilau di sepanjang jalan setapak, sebanding dengan maskapai terbersih di dunia. Langit-langit yang menjuntai di atas hampir serupa dengan kubah masjid khas Turki. Desain bandara ini memenangkan Future Infrastructure Project Award dari World Architecture Festival pada tahun 2016. Berkat penghargaan tersebut, para pengunjung IGA memberikan tingkat kepuasan hingga 98 untuk gaya arsitektur.
Bandara Istanbul berupaya merekonsiliasi persyaratan untuk sebuah bandara fungsional modern dengan sesuatu yang berakar pada identitas lokal, kata Tomas Stokke, Direktur Haptic yang merupakan bagian dari tim desain pimpinan perusahaan London Grimshaw, seperti dikutip dari Reader Digest.
“Kami terinspirasi oleh penggunaan arsitektur, warna, dan pola lokal. Kualitas cahaya dan bisa menembus bangunan, serta oleh arsitektur tradisional seperti Masjid Süleymaniye,” lanjutnya. Seluruh pekerja di bandara IGA dengan senang hati akan memberitahu pengunjung tentang desain menakjubkan yang diterapkan untuk bandara ini. Area Bebas Pajak IGA juga menyediakan area bebas pajak yang diproyeksikan sebagai zona perbelanjaan terbesar di dunia. Pengelola akan mengembangkan sejumlah hal baru untuk menghibur setiap wisatawan yang mendarat di bandara ini.
Di area bebas pajak, wisatawan perempuan bisa mendapat kesempatan menguji sampel rias terbaru secara gratis. Bisa juga mencobanya melalui pengalaman virtual reality yang tersedia di sana. Selain itu, area bebas pajak ini menyediakan berbagai permainan dan barang yang bisa dibawa pulang untuk dijadikan oleh-oleh, seperti parfum, cokelat, dan minuman khas Turki.
