Things To Do Around Almaty | Why You Must Visit Kazakhstan?

Visiting Almaty, Kazakhstan? Check out all the Things To Do Around Almaty in this video. It is the most scenic day you'll ever have! Sign up to join the Kazakhstan group tour for solo travelers -

Kazakhstan is trending I believe. Ever since I visited Kazakhstan, I have seen an increase in people interested in visiting this country. Here's Why You Must Visit Kazakhstan?
1 - Friendly people
2 - Delicious food
3 - Very economical
4 - Halal meat
5 - To top it off - You'll get to experience snow alps without breaking the bank!

2023 is the best time to visit Kazakhstan! It has recently changed it's visa rules for many nationalities. Indians can visit it for 14 days without any visa. It is one of the most economical countries I have ever visited. And to be honest, I had no expectations from Kazakhstan. But from day 1, Almaty blew my mind. I swear I kept asking myself - What Country Is This?

In this video I woke by the Kolsay lakes - which was the most unbelievable feeling ever! I thought the lakes might be in a distance, but to my surprise when I opened my window at sunrise, I was pleasantly shocked. Couldn't believe my eyes! Less did I know, this day was just beginning to surprise me, what would come head would just blow me away.

Next we hiked to Kaindy lakes. The hike was very challenging because we were doing a 4 kms trail in calf-deep snow. The struggle was real. I do not recommend coming to Almaty and exploring these lakes during November. The lakes could be frozen, you may not be able to do the hike at all, the roads could be shut, your plans perhaps screwed. And frankly, this is it! This is what there is to see in Almaty, Kazakhstan! This is one of the best things to do around Almaty. The beauty of Almaty Kazakhstan reminded me of Kashmir. So much snow, so much beauty X 10.

Once done you're fulfilled with that dose of beauty, make sure to stop at Saty village and grab some lunch at a Kazakh family's house and eat some local cuisine.

Have You Seen These Amazing Places in Kazakhstan? ❤️ |Curiosity Juice| Country Tour #88

You will definitely would wish to travel to Kazakhstan after watching this video. Kazakhstan is the world's ninth biggest country by size, and it is more than twice the size of the other Central Asian states combined. It will be many travellers' first port of call on their Central Asian adventure, and there is much for the intrepid traveller to enjoy.

How many of the places you have seen already in this video? Don't forget to mention in comments
Don't forget to subscribe so that you can watch new videos posted daily!

Kazakhstan is the richest country in Central Asia, due to its large oil and natural gas reserves. The country is also the largest landlocked country. The country inherited the culture of the ancient Silk Road, Nomadic lifestyle and the Soviet Union which had a great influence on its formation. This mixture makes Kazakhstan so different from any other country in the region and in the world.

Cities
Aktobe — an industrial city located in the eastern part of Europe.
Almaty — largest city, and capital prior to December 1998. Definitely a must-see. Beside the Soviet-style city, you may want to go to the Medeu and other places in the nearby mountains.
Atyrau — oil capital of Kazakhstan, where large onshore Tengiz and offshore Kashagan oilfields are located.
Karaganda — industrial city between Astana and Almaty; worth visiting if you like mining history.
Nursultan (Astana, Aqmola) — second largest city, and capital since December 1998. Worth visiting but you only need a few days to get to the most recommended sightseeings. The city is brand new and being built very rapidly. If you want to see what Aqmola / Astana (Nursultan's previous names) looks like, you need to do it now as the old city is disappearing quite rapidly.
Pavlodar — Kazakh city in very north of the country, founded in 1720, closed until 1992 for its military significance in tank production, and home to one very impressive mosque, as well as other interesting Orthodox churches and various memorials
Shymkent — Kazakhstan's third largest city, very crowded with Uzbek people, it is an old market town located near Tashkent and some beautiful mountains; now booming with oil exploration,
Turkestan — another ancient city, long a border town between the Persian culture to the south and the Turkic nomadic culture to the north, now majority Uzbek and home to several important cultural-historical monuments
Ust-Kamenogorsk — Majority Russian mining city in the Altai mountains

Explore Almaty: A Tour of Kazakhstan's Hottest City's Hidden Gems

Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan and the former capital of the country. It is a cultural, economic and historical hub that offers a variety of attractions and experiences for travelers. In this documentary, we will explore the history, culture, nature and cuisine of this fascinating city and its surroundings.

We will start our journey by learning about the origins of Almaty, which dates back to the 13th century when it was founded by the Mongols as Almatu. We will visit some of the oldest buildings and monuments in the city, such as the Central Mosque of Almaty, the Ascension Cathedral and the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen. We will also discover how Almaty became a melting pot of different ethnic groups, especially Russians who settled here in large numbers since the 18th century.

Next, we will explore the modern side of Almaty, which boasts a vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere. We will stroll along the streets lined with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and admire the architecture that reflects both Soviet and contemporary influences. We will also visit some of the museums and theaters that showcase the artistic and intellectual achievements of Almaty's residents. We will also get a taste of Almaty's famous chocolate at the Rakhat Chocolate Factory, which has been producing sweet treats since 1942.

Then, we will head to the outskirts of Almaty, where we will find stunning natural scenery and outdoor activities. We will take a cable car to the Kok Tobe Tower, which stands on top of Kok Tobe Mountain and offers panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains. We will also visit the Medeu Gorge, where we will see the world's highest ice skating rink and learn about the sport of bandy, which is popular in Kazakhstan. We will also go to the Shymbulak Ski Resort, which hosted some events of the 2011 Asian Winter Games and offers skiing and snowboarding opportunities for all levels.

Finally, we will venture further away from Almaty to explore some of the most spectacular natural wonders of Kazakhstan. We will drive to the Big Almaty Lake, which is a turquoise gem nestled in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. We will also visit the Charyn Canyon, which is often compared to the Grand Canyon in terms of its size and beauty. We will marvel at the rock formations that have been shaped by erosion over millions of years.

Along the way, we will sample some of the delicious dishes that Almaty has to offer, such as beshbarmak, manty, plov, and more. We will also learn about the customs and traditions that make Almaty a unique and diverse city. We will meet some of the friendly and hospitable locals who will share their stories and insights with us.

We will end our documentary by checking into one of the luxurious hotels in Almaty, such as the Ritz Carlton Almaty or the Voyage Hotel. We will reflect on our amazing adventure and look forward to returning to this enchanting city someday.

Join us as we discover Almaty, Kazakhstan - a city that has something for everyone.
