Here are 10 things To Do in Melbourne

#10 Explore the Queen Victoria Market

One of the major landmarks in Melbourne, and at around seven hectares and Queen Victoria Market is the largest and most intact surviving 19th century market in the city. Queen Victoria Market is an authentic, bustling, inner-city market that has been the heart and soul of Melbourne for 140 years. The fresh-food areas of the market open at 6 am on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with specialty shops open from 9 am and would surely satisfy the foodie in you.

#9 Visit the charming Block Arcade

The heritage shopping experience, with mosaic-tile flooring, a glass canopy, and carved stone, the Block Arcade is one of the finest examples of a 19th-century shopping arcade on the planet. Since 1893, Melbourne's Block Arcade has been a 'place to shop and be seen,' and today you'll find an array of shops to suit every visitor.

#8 Experience the wonder of life at the Melbourne museum

Explore history, culture, science, and nature at the Melbourne Museum. Located adjacent to the Royal Exhibition Building, it is the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere. A fantastic museum with a unique presentation of exhibits. There's a lot to see and learn from dinosaurs, maritime life, first people and more.

#7 An adventure at Melbourne Zoo

The Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens, commonly known as the Melbourne Zoo. One of the best zoos on the planet. It is easily accessible for travelers from all over Australia and definitely a spectacle for people. Get to see most of the beautiful animals you can think of, especially what Australia is famous for, the adorable Koalas.

#6 See the great architecture of the Shrine of Remembrance

A Ray of Light traces its path across the commemorative stone. The Shrine of Remembrance is a building with a soul. Opened in 1934, the Shrine is the Victorian state memorial to Australians who served in global conflicts throughout their nation’s history. Inspired by Classical architecture, the Shrine was designed and built by veterans of the First World War.

#5 Taste the coffees of Australia at Patricia Coffee Brewers

It’s a well-known fact that Australia competes for the title for having the best coffee in the world. Trendy, bare-bones, standing-room-only spot for artisanal coffee, and small treats at Patricia Coffee Brewers. With amazing but simple coffee, visitors say that it’s the best coffee they’ve ever had.

#4 Spend a relaxing afternoon at the Hellenic Museum

If you’re interested in ancient history and especially with the historic place of Greece this is the place for you. Australia's Hellenic Museum in Melbourne is dedicated to the celebration of the heritage of ancient and modern Greece. A beautiful and unique place to study, discover and celebrate all things historic Greek interwoven with the blended world of Australia. Inspirational, informational, well-curated, and modern with a classical touch.

#3 The premier shopping experience at Chapel Street

If you’re an urban explorer, Chapel Street is the place for you, it has a good mix of well known high street stores but it also has a good collection of stand-alone boutiques and eateries. At the South Yarra end, you’ll find designer clothing stores and run-of-the-mill cafes. But cross Commercial Road into the Windsor end and you will discover a hotbed of cool cafes, relaxed bars and an abundance of unique boutiques and second-hand shops.
