TUBURAN is Biggest Town w/ BIG attractions
Tuburan is the biggest municipality(In terms of land area) in the entire Cebu Province. It is also the hometown of our local hero in Cebu- Gen. Arcadio Maxilom y Molera. But, did you know that Tuburan has so many springs?
Yes, cold springs. There are 7 springs spread across the town's 234 thousand square kilometers.
In this vlog I will feature 2 springs in Tuburan and make a tour in its poblacion(town center). I will also visit Tuburan Public Market and ask about the prices of the fishes being sold. Rizal Park is just across where we can find the statue of Gen. Maixlom. Nearby, is the big Adela River which has clear torquiose water flowing from the different springs. Then, to the south of the town is barangay Jagbuaya where the famous and robust 200-year old Dao Tree can be found beside the riverbank. And, there is another barangay named Daan Lungsod (The old town center of Tuburan) where the white sand beaches of the town are mostly located. I will show you epic drone shots of the beach line and of course visit the famous Lantawan Lookout/ Tunnel inside Lantawan Restaurant property. The tunnel is believed to have been built by the Japanese Forces during World War 2.

A quick trip to Tuburan, Cebu with co-workers to attend Aliyah's Christening. We traveled for 2 hours and 30 minutes from Cebu City to get to Tuburan. We took the Transcentral Highway. It was a fun trip and we enjoyed the experience of seeing how life is at Cebu's countryside. :)

Tuburan, Cebu: Simply Beautiful and Surprising Town
Many of us will just bypass the quite Municipality of Tuburan, Province of Cebu. Who could have thought that this peaceful town got some places to visit. Aside from its famous Molobolo Spring which has been considered as the favorite destination both locals and tourists. Another famed attraction that will make you fall in love in the town is the granitic Marmol Cliff. A stunning and enchanting rock formations of two cliffs with a river that flowing naturally between them. Getting there is an extreme adventure, really! Whether you go on foot or ride a motorbike, you will be river trekking.The motorbike is literally a breathtaking ride.
Molobolo Spring / Top Tourist Destination in Cebu
Molobolo spring is one of the popular places to be refreshed and relaxed in Tuburan Municipality, Cebu Province, Philippines.
Tuburan means ‘source of water’ or spring in Cebuano or Bisayan language. The springs of this place are the greatest endowment to the inhabitants of this area.
The spring water is being channeled into two big pools to utilize its freshness by visitors from the locale and distant or foreign guests.
There are pipes underneath these two swimming pools that go to the sea (in close proximity) to keep the water flowing out and the water inside always fresh and clean.
The bigger pool is about 7 feet deep and is intended for adults and good swimmers. The other and smaller pool is for kids who are mostly the frequent and the biggest in number among users. That’s probably because families come to enjoy the place with their children than most adults do.
The canopy of the trees that blankets the pools keep away the sunlight, thus, making the spring water much cooler and rejuvenating to be enjoyed with.

Molobolo Spring and Beach Resort I Tuburan, Cebu l Wella The Dreamer
In the town of Tuburan, which is some 96 kilometers from Cebu City, the Molobolo Spring has been attracting tourists and slowly becoming a favorite hangout place for residents and visitors alike.
The discovery of the cold spring has changed this once quiet municipality in the midwestern part of Cebu.
Tuburan's name comes from the Visayan word tubod, which means spring of water. It is no wonder then that Molobolo Spring is one of the town's natural gifts.
From the tubod flows cool and refreshing water, and the air is very fresh in the area. The local government built a rectangular pool as catchment for water from the spring. This is where visitors can take a dip in the freezing water.
If it's high tide, visitors can see the water from the cold spring flow to the sea.
Affordable trip
Going to Molobolo Spring will not cost much, which is a big plus for families and friends who are looking for a place where they could have fun together without spending too much.
Entrance fee is only P5.00 per adult and P2.00 for children aged seven to 10 years old. Parking rates are P100 for four-wheel vehicles and P25 for motorcycles.
Visitors have two options for cottages. They may rent small ones at P150 and the big cottages cost P300.
You may bring you own food at no cost, but a store near the entrance also sells snacks and drinks.

Spring is not yet operated as of now coz they have some renovating made, only the beach is open
no entrance fee but if you bring motorcycle there is a parking fee of any amount.

Last August 2023, we explored the mesmerizing Blue Hole Spring located in San Juan, Tuburan, in the western part of Cebu. This hidden gem is surrounded by old trees and offers a serene ambiance that will leave you in awe.
The crystal clear blue water of the Blue Hole Spring is truly captivating and is a testament to the true beauty of nature. Also known as the spring of hope, the refreshing and cold water will awaken the child in you. It's a paradise where you can jump and swing to your heart's content.
The best part? As of our visit, the entrance fee is only 10 pesos and the spring can be enjoyed anytime between 7AM to 5PM only for safety reasons.

Getting there is quite straightforward. The spring is about 2 hours away from Cebu City¹. There are three routes to get there: via Transcentral Highway (Busay/Balamban), via Toledo, or via Tabuelan. You can use Waze or Google Maps for navigation.

This video is all about the continuation of Tuburan visit.
Tuburan, officially the Municipality of Tuburan.
Tuburan is bordered to the north by the town of Tabuelan, to the west is the Tañon Strait, to the east are the towns of Carmen, Catmon and Sogod, and to the south is the town of Asturias.
Tuburan was the hometown of the revolutionary leader Arcadio Maxilom. And is also known for its crystal-clear springs, beaches, creeks, rivers, caves and natural attractions.
Industrial and domestic products include decorative apparel and fashion accessories made of seashells and coconut shells, wood and other indigenous products. Tubod Festival is held in honor of the parish patron, Saint Anthony of Padua
Tuburan is the largest municipality in Cebu in terms of land area. It also has the most number of barangays for a municipality in Cebu.
