Comenzamos estos lugares con el dique Piscu Yaco
Desde la Villa de Merlo, a unos 25 minutos en auto por la ruta provincial Nº1, se llega a este atractivo escenario natural, de gran destino turístico y recreativo.
Está embellecido con un balneario con playas de arena y brinda a sus visitantes la posibilidad de practicar deportes náuticos sin motor.
Un lugar ideal para pasar una tarde a la orilla del agua, descansar, tomarse unos mates, y apreciar la tranquilidad tan típica de la provincia de San Luis en la Villa de Merlo
El Mirador del Sol, camino al Filo…
Solo a unos 10 km de Merlo, unos 20 minutos de auto, por el faldeo de los Comechingones y en el límite de las provincias de San Luis y Córdoba, ofrece magníficas vistas del Valle de Conlara, incluso hasta el Valle de Calamuchita.
Es una visita obligada así se trate de un día nublado, ya que a veces las nubes caen como cascadas desde las sierras, permitiendo observarlas desde arriba.
Se encuentra a 1430 msnm y se accede al mismo mediante la ruta 5, pasando el arroyo del Rincón (El Molino) y su magnífica vista enamora a los turistas que contemplan el valle desde ahí.
Un reloj de sol, el Ojo del Tiempo
Si tienen un rato, pásense por esta hermosa obra arquitectónica y de ingeniería, que no es nada más, ni nada menos que un reloj de Sol, El ojo del tiempo.
El maestro Pérez Cellis, diseñó esta maravilla y está a sólo a 10 minutos de la Villa de Merlo.
No se lo pierdan…
Y le tocó el turno a el Mirador cabeza del Indio
Casi al final del camino asfaltado a Pasos Malos, a unos 7 Km de Merlo, está el cartel que indica el ingreso por calle angosta de tierra hacia el Mirador Cabeza del Indio, un paseo que tarda unos 15 minutos en llegar al lugar.
Se trata de un complejo gastronómico pegado al pie de las sierras de Comechingones.
En el complejo se encuentra el mirador que es una torre de casi 20 metros y desde este punto se puede ver el verde de los molles, árboles típicos de esta altura serrana, las construcciones de Merlo y los pueblos del Valle del Conlara.
Está ubicado a 1.150 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
El paraje Pasos Malos y La Cascada Olvidada
A unos 7 Km, 15 minutos aprox de auto de la Villa de Merlo, se encuentra este hermoso lugar que cautiva con su arroyo Piedras Blancas, cada año, a los turistas.
Imponente vista de las sierras Comechingones y del Valle del Conlara.
En el paisaje se ven enormes rocas de diferentes colores y tamaños, agua cristalina, cielo azul, aire puro.
Para quienes vienen en familia, deben tener en cuenta que caminar por el mismo consta de una dificultad media, por lo que se debe tomar la precaución correspondiente al hacerlo y llevar el calzado adecuado para caminar entre piedras, cortaderas y plantas nativas.
La Reserva Floro faunística de Rincón del Este
La reserva está localizada a la vera del arroyo El Molino.
Aguas frías y transparentes en un marco de naturaleza esplendorosa.
A la Reserva Florofaunística de Rincón del este, se llega por la ruta provincial Nº5 y está a unos 15 minutos de la Villa de Merlo
La Carolina
Se sitúa a 80 Km al Norte de la Ciudad de San Luis y a unos 180 km de la Villa de Merlo.
Las casas conservan aún el aspecto original del pueblo y, como buen pueblo colonial, posee la plaza del pueblo con su iglesia enfrente.
Durante todo el año se pueden realizar excursiones guiadas a las minas de oro que se hallan en las proximidades del casco del pueblo. Luego de una caminata de 10 minutos se llega a la mina de oro, y allí se entra por el túnel hasta el fondo (unos 400 metros) y se pueden contemplar todos los rasgos y características de estas minas que tuvieron su apogeo hace 200 años.
El camino a San Francisco del Monte de Oro y el Dique las Palmeras
La Ruta Provincial N° 9, antiguamente llamado el “Camino del Oro”, asciende hasta unos 1.800 metros sobre el nivel del mar y es un atractivo paisajístico que impacta a los turistas con sus increíbles vistas panorámicas, recorriendo el mítico Camino. Desde La Carolina a San Francisco del Monte de Oro, la ruta cruza las Sierras Centrales de San Luis para recortar un paisaje inolvidable. Apenas 34 km que serán el paraíso de los amantes del turismo aventura.

4K Walk Cascada Cifuentes - Coronel Dorrego - Argentina
????????????????????♀️✍????Su nombre hace alusión al propietario de estas tierras, aunque también es conocida como Cascada de Aldaya. Se trata del salto de agua más alto de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, llegando a alcanzar los 8 metros de altura. Ubicada en el curso inferior del Río Quequén Salado, entre los partidos de Coronel Dorrego y Tres Arroyos en cercanía del mar, es uno de los accidentes geográficos más imponentes de este importante curso de agua.
Se puede acceder mediante la ruta Nacional N°3 Km. 532 descendiendo por camino rural, se recorren 4 kilómetros y luego se debe bajar caminando hasta llegar a la cascada. Se trata de un entorno rocoso rodeado por una zona de bosques. El entorno invita a caminar, admirar y observar naturaleza hermosa y autóctona.
Flora nativa: alverjilla amarilla, junco espinoso, molle, yerba de la víbora, cortadera.
Fauna nativa: zorro gris de las pampas, pato maicero, pato barcino, pato cuchara, pato colorado, carpincho, gallareta chica, ñandú.
Variedad ictícola: pejerrey, bagre, chanchito, mojarra plateada, dientudo.

It is the highest waterfall in the Province of Buenos Aires, reaching 8 meters in height. Located in the lower course of the Quequén Salado River, between the districts of Coronel Dorrego and Tres Arroyos near the sea, it is one of the most impressive geographical features of this important watercourse.
It can be accessed by National Route No. 3 Km. 532 going down a rural road, traveling 4 kilometers and then walking down until you reach the waterfall. It is a rocky environment surrounded by an area of forests. The environment invites you to walk, admire and observe beautiful and native nature.

Native fauna: pampas gray fox, corn duck, barcino duck, shoveler, red duck, capybara, small coot, rhea.
