Sandviks familjecamping ligger vackert vid norra stranden av Roxen. Campingen har flera gästplatser för såväl husbilar som husvagnar. Vi har även 10 st campingstugor att erbjuda för uthyrning. För barnen finns det stora gräsytor att röra sig fritt på. Vid campingen ligger det en fin badplats som lockar till långa och sköna bad.
Ekbackarna vid campingen med alla sina blommor och svalkande skugga och dovhjortar som hälsar på är en förmån. Omgivande natur med skogar, strövstigar, blåbär o lingon samt svamp är värt ett besök.
Ett givet semesterbesök i närheten (10km) är Bergs slussar där båtarna slussas i Göta Kanals fascinerande slusstrappa. Man passerar Stjärnorps slott från 1641 med kyrkflygel och den angränsande Stjärnorpsravinen med den praktfulla ormbunken Strutbräken som omger Stjärnorpsbäcken med en dramatisk natur.

On my last day in Sweden, we went to eat Swedish food in the best restaurant in Eskilstuna, a town near Stockholm. The weird thing is that this restaurant that cooks the best Swedish food in the area has a Greek name, Akropolis.
The main plates I ate are Toast Skagen and Husets Plankstek.

An der Grenze des Ammarnäs-Nationalparks haben wir einen wirklich atemberaubenden Grillplatz direkt am See entdeckt, wo wir uns erst mal nach der langen Fahrt über Nacht aufgestellt haben.
Weit und breit gibt es hier keinen Menschen und kein einziges Haus. Genauso haben wir es uns vorgestellt!
Am nächsten Morgen sehen wir dann auch zum ersten mal das bunte Farbkleid der Bäume.
Wir haben den 19ten September und so weit hier oben hat jetzt endgültig der Indian Summer mit seinem einzigartigen Farbspiel begonnen.

On the border of the Ammarnäs National Park we discovered a really stunning lakeside BBQ area, where we set up camp overnight after the long drive.
There is not a single person and not a single house.
That's exactly how we imagined it! The next morning we see the colorful dress of the trees for the first time.
It's September 19th and so far up here the Indian Summer with its unique play of colors has finally begun.
