Named after the sheer granite face that rises over 1,640 feet above the surrounding area and home to the majestic Chilean condor, which nests there and can be seen all year round, the plot offers incredible views of this monumental geographical formation that in turn forms the plinth of the jaw-dropping Cerro Picacho, the monarch of the landscape, which appears to commune with the nearby Cerro La Zaranda, another of the colossi that watch over this beautiful spot.
Within its 1.181-acre expanse, Parque La Condorera offers over 4 miles of courses bearing the purest water in the world, but, more importantly, boasts more than a mile and a half of riverbank alongside the Picaflor River, which, together with the Mañihuales River, offers one of the best-known fly-fishing circuits in the world. The plot is the first property to receive the waters of the Picaflor River, and the sheer impossibility of human settlement upriver guarantees its purity.
It is also clad in exuberant evergreen Valdivian Forest, an ecosystem with one of the highest numbers of endemic species in the world. It consists primarily of the Coihue Magallánico and the Mañio Macho, trees that can grow to 100 feet in height; the Tepa, Luma, and Arrayan trees; and several bushes, perhaps the most noteworthy of which being the Maqui and the Calafate, each known for their eponymous superfruits that grow only in the wild.
This jungle provides natural habitat for animals such as the elegant puma; the pudú, the world’s smallest deer; the huemul, a national symbol; the fox; the elusive guiña wild cat; the famous Darwin’s frog; and myriad birds including the condor, eagle, kingfisher, woodpecker, chucao, and huet huet.
But that’s not all. Parque La Condorera is extraordinarily well connected. The Carretera Austral runs through it, providing over 1.2 miles of paved road. There is a service station open 24/7 only 22 miles away; the main port is 50 minutes away; the regional capital, Coyhaique, is 1 hour 20 minutes away; and the regional airport, Balmaceda, is 2 hours away, all on paved road. In addition, La Tapera, the border crossing with Argentina, is only 75 miles away. And as if that weren’t enough, the regional fiber optic cable runs along the entire length of the highway providing connections at various intervals along its length.
All this and more make Parque La Condorera a unique, incomparable, and simply priceless place.

Episodio especial de ANDO EN MICRO, en Chile a los buses urbanos y rurales nosotros les decimos micros. Este viaje es uno de los trayectos rurales más hermosos y turísticos, un viaje en bus en el famoso 'Valle del Elqui', lugar famoso por el turismo astronómico, además de las plantaciones de viñedos para producción de pisco. Es uno de los lugares más bonitos de Chile y es posible llegar a todos estos pueblos en este transporte público.
El viaje de 100 km comienza en 'La Serena' y concluye en la plaza de 'Pisco Elqui', pasando por 'Vicuña', 'Rivadavia', 'Paihuano' y 'Montegrande', lugares marcados por la presencia de la gran poetisa 'Gabriela Mistral', Premio Nobel de Literatura 1945. El trayecto fue realizado en un bus de la empresa local 'Sol de Elqui', modelo 'Mascarello Roma MD' con chasis 'Mercedes Benz OF-1722' y placa FXVT30. El viaje fue realizado en Julio 2018.

Episodio de 'ANDO EN BUS' (RIDING BUSES) con el primer viaje de la empresa 'Buses Transantin' en la ruta 'Santiago - Río Bueno - Lago Ranco', en el sur de Chile. El viaje fue realizado en una unidad 'Busscar Vissta Buss Elegance 380', chasis 'Mercedes Benz O500 RS' con asientos 'Salón Cama'. El bus perteneció a 'Tur Bus' (unidad 2168) y fue inscrito en Febrero 2010 con placa CFWB40. 'Transantin' es una empresa que ofrece servicios 'Salón Cama' a un precio económico.
El viaje comienza en el 'Terminal Sur', lugar donde 'Transantin' utiliza los andenes 1 al 10. El viaje de ida tuvo pocos pasajeros por ser primer día, pero ya en el viaje de vuelta subieron más pasajeros en 'Paillaco'. En el video, puedes ver un poco de la costanera de 'Lago Ranco' y del bus.

???? Pucón es una comuna de la Provincia de Cautín, perteneciente a la Región de Araucanía, situada en la zona sur de Chile. La ciudad de Pucón está ubicada sobre la costa oriental del lago Villarrica, a 70 km al oeste de la frontera con Argentina por el paso Mamuil Malal, 105 km al sudeste de Temuco y a 780 km de la capital Santiago, a 25 km al este de Villarrica.
Se destaca por ser el balneario lacustre más importante de Chile, con una gran actividad de temporada en la época estival. Es conocida como la «capital chilena del turismo de aventura». En su entorno tiene una variedad de atractivos turísticos que complementan sus playas sobre el lago, como centros termales, centros de esquí y parques nacionales, entre otros. Muestra amplia vida nocturna especialmente para jóvenes, además de especial gastronomía con diversidad de ofertas en época estival. El área rural posee el atractivo de conos volcánicos siempre nevados, bosques de fagáceas y coníferas, y gran cantidad de torrentosos ríos, algunos de los cuales albergan cajones, saltos, cascadas y rápidos. Se agrega a todo esto la gran variedad de flora y fauna silvestre que hacen un complemento ideal para turistas nacionales y extranjeros.
La ruta principal de acceso a la comuna es a través de la Ruta CH-199, la cual comienza en la Autopista Ruta de la Araucanía. Con respecto al transporte público interurbano, existen terminales de buses que realizan servicios diarios directos a las ciudades de Temuco, Villarrica, Cunco, Concepción, Santiago e intermedios. En relación con el transporte aéreo, el Aeródromo de Pucón es un terminal aéreo público que opera en la comuna.

???? Pucón is a commune of the Province of Cautín, belonging to the Region of Araucanía, located in the southern zone of Chile. The city of Pucón is located on the eastern shore of Lake Villarrica, 70 km west of the border with Argentina through the Mamuil Malal pass, 105 km southeast of Temuco and 780 km from the capital Santiago, 25 km east of Villarrica.
It stands out for being the most important lakeside resort in Chile, with great seasonal activity in the summer. It is known as the Chilean capital of adventure tourism. In its surroundings it has a variety of tourist attractions that complement its beaches on the lake, such as thermal centers, ski centers and national parks, among others. It shows a wide nightlife especially for young people, as well as special gastronomy with a diversity of offers in the summer season. The rural area has the attraction of always snow-capped volcanic cones, forests of fagaceae and conifers, and a large number of torrential rivers, some of which contain caissons, waterfalls, waterfalls, and rapids. The Carretera Austral is the name given to Chile's Route 7. It runs for 1240 km from Puerto Montt in the north to Villa O'Higgins in the south. Some call it the road after the end of the road, because it is not officially part of the Panamerican Highway that ends on the island of Chiloe Island. Construction of the road started in the 1970s and is still going on. It passes through very beautiful and sparsely populated parts of Chile. Landscapes vary from forests and fjords to spectacular mountains, glaciers and volcanoes.
