Tongchuan, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province, is located in the eastern part of the northwest region, central Shaanxi, the Guanzhong Basin and the northern Shaanxi Plateau, adjacent to three cities in Yan'an, Weinan and Xianyang; it has a temperate monsoon climate, with a total area of 3,882 square kilometers and 3 districts and 1 county under its jurisdiction. According to the data of the 7th census, the resident population of Tongchuan was 698,322 as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020.
Tongchuan is located in the transition zone between the Ordos Plateau and the Weihe Fracture Basin, and is a remnant area of the Loess Plateau, straddling two geological tectonic units. The terrain is complex and diverse, with mountains, rivers, plains, beams, airstrips, plateaus, valleys, and rivers all distributed, with mountains, ravines, plateaus, and beams and airstrips interspersed, with an average slope of 16.7°, including 318.6 km2 below 3°, 565.7 km2 from 3° to 8°, 883.9 km2 from 8° to 15°, 1280.4 km2 from 15° to 25°, and 25° and above. square kilometers, and above 25° an area of 832.5 square kilometers.
Tongchuan has convenient transportation and is an important part of Guanzhong Economic Belt, a must-go place to the first ancestor of humanity, the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum and the revolutionary holy land of Yan'an. Two branch railroads, Xiantong and Meiqi, are connected to the Longhai Artery.

Tongnan District has a long history, with the establishment of a county in 373 A.D. (the first year of Ningkang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty) and Dong'an County in 1912, which was renamed Tongnan in 1914 because it was located south of Tongchuan Prefecture. It has given birth to such great men of the times as Yang Gangong, Yang Shangkun and Yang Baibing, and nurtured such historical and cultural celebrities as Chen Tuan, the supreme Taoist, Lv Daqi, an important minister of the Ming Dynasty, and Liao Jingqiu, a master of Sichuan opera; Taian Fish, Lion Dance and Che Che Lantern are included in the municipal intangible cultural heritage, and it is the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art.
Tongnan District has humanistic attractions such as the Dafoji Scenic Area, Shuangjiang Ancient Town, and the scenic spot of Chen Tuan's hometown in Chongjian. It has 4 national key cultural relics protection units, 10 municipal-level cultural relics protection units, and 61 county-level cultural relics protection units. It is an important transportation hub in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, with the Yusui Railway, Yusui Expressway, Tongrong Expressway and the under-construction Beibei (Beibei) Anyue Expressway, and National Highway 246, National Highway 319 and National Highway 351 lines passing through the territory. In June 2017, Tongnan District was named a national health city.

Meng Family in Taixing - Explore Ancient City in Jiangsu China
After the Covid-19 quarantine ended in China, I travelled to Taixing, Jiangsu province in China with my family. A lot of scenic places were visited and loads of delicious food was eaten. Making wishes in the thousand years old Qinyun Temple, talking to friendly residents of the ancient Huangqiao town, strolling down miles long Ginkgo forest, tasting famous Huangqiao pancake and fish wonton. It is amazing how a city i have never heard of has so much to offer. I hope this short video gives you a taste of how wonderful my trip was :D

Episode3-Tongchuan Cherry Festival -- BONTV China
During the National Tourism Day holiday period, Tongchuan offers an amazing festival for visitors, the Cherries Festival.
Tongchuan is located in the middle of Shaanxi, 76 kilometers north of Xi'an. Those that live here plant around 120 square kilometers (1.8万亩) of cherry trees. Over 8000 tons of cherries are waiting to be picked and eaten!
The Shaanxi government has organized hundred of cars to travel to Tongchuan, so if you want, you can carpool with a local. After a day of cherry picking you can stay with local farmers in Chanhe village. The next day you can visit the Tang dynasty imperial palace Yuhua Palace, and 1000 years worth of pottery-making history in a small town called Chenlu.
The best part is that all these attractions are free for visitors on May 19th and 20th.

City wall bicycle tour. Xian China | S01E21
The last day in Xian, i fell in love with this city as soon as i stepped of the plane. Everything about the city just had an amazing feel to it, even though i didn’t have the best weather but the people of the city were friendly and very welcoming to all tourists. In this episode i went on a bit of a history trip the city provides, which was a bicycle tour on the city wall which stretches as far as 14km, and built in 1370.

Qiachuan Scenic Area is located in Heyang County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the basin of Yellow River, which is also called Mother River by Chinese people. The scenic area has beautiful natural scenery.
Qiachuan, which was built more than two thousand years ago, is a place full of historical stories. One of the most famous story is about the love story of the King Wen of the Western Zhou Dynasty (1112-1050BC) and his wife Tai Si who was born in Qiachuan. The first poem Guanju written in Shijing tells about the story that King Wen loved Tai Si who proposed to her thousands of years ago:
“By riverside
a pair of fish hawks are wooing;
There's a maiden fair
Whom a young man is wooing.
Shijing - also know as Classic of Poetry, Shih-ching which is translated variously as the Book of Songs, Book of Odes, Book of Poems or simply known as the Odes or Poetry- is the oldest existing collection of Chinese poetry, comprising of 305 works dating from the 11th to the 7th centuries BC.
The main attractions of Qiachuan Scenic Area include Virgin Spring Scenic Area, Fushan Scenic Area, Yellow River Soul Scenic Area, Yellow River Bay Scenic Area, Xinguo Water City, etc. The Virgin Spring Scenic Area is located in the center of Qiachuan Scenic Area. According to legends, it's the place that Tai Si used to bathe before getting married, hence the name Virgin Spring. The Virgin Spring is a natural hot spring. The temperature of the spring water is maintained at 30°C all year round. It is rich in selenium, copper, strontium and other trace elements. Visitors can bath in the spring.
I visited it and was really fascinated by its beautiful scenery.

Technical School's Anthem in Tongchuan, Shaanxi
On a trip to Tongchuan, a small coal mining town in Shaanxi Province, we visited some students in a technical school. As Tongchuan residents rarely have the chance to interact with foreigners, we were the center of attention. I decided to use our celebrity status to make a request for them to sing their school anthem. Standing outside the school while teenagers photographed me as if they were photographing a superstar, I listened to the school anthem once again appreciating a scene that could only happen in China.

We were in Xian, China from 2nd January 2020 to 9th January 2020 in the wake of the Corona Virus.
The trip in Xian is amazing because it is really an ancient city of China. Terracotta Warriors place is amazing. There are so many places to visit in Xian (Xi'an) China and there is only so much we can show.

According to an old Chinese proverb: One flagstone road, and one thousand years' Ciqikou.[citation needed] The name of the town can be traced back to porcelain production during the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing Dynasties.[2] Formerly a busy port located at the lower reaches of the Jialing River, a thousand years after its foundation the town remains a symbol and microcosm of old Chongqing (Jiang Zhou).
Ciqikou is located on the west bank of the Jialing River and covers an area of 1.18 km2 (0.46 sq mi). Three mountains, Mount Jingbi, Mount Fenghuang and Mount Ma'an lie in Ciqikou, whilst Fenghuang Quan and Qinshui Quan run across it. The geography of Ciqikou is considered to have perfect Fengshui by the local people.
Travelers to Chongqing and locals alike throng to Ciqikou's steep and narrow pedestrian streets. Shops sell porcelain, other handicrafts, and gifts, while restaurants and tea shops give visitors a look at what many areas of Chongqing were like before the metropolis became the vast urban agglomeration it is today. A 1,500-year-old Buddhist temple straddles the mountain in the middle of the old town.
Ciqikou is the source of Baci culture. Many well-known people lived here during the Second Sino-Japanese War, including Guo Moruo, Xu Beihong, Feng Zikai, Fu Baoshi, Ba Jin, Bing Xin, etc. Ding Zhaozhong, a Chinese-born American scientist, studied here for many years during his childhood
