La ville de Tiznit
Situé à moins de 100 Km au sud d'Agadir, Tiznit est un lieu privilégié de la belle région Souss-Massa où l'on y respire la sérénité et la joie de vivre.
La mythique Kasbah d’Aghanaj bâtie en 1820 et nommée d’après le fameux Caid Mohammed Aghanaj El Hahi est un monument historique d’exception dans la ville de Tiznit. Après sa récente rénovation, ce majestueux édifice architectural dispose de nos jours d’un musée d’art, une salle d’exposition et un centre de formation aux métiers ancestraux de l’artisanat.
Près de la Kasbah Aghnaj et de la grande mosquée, on trouve L’Ain Zerka. c’est une source d’eau à Tiznit dont la légende raconte qu’elle est l’édifice fondateur de toute la ville de Tiznit.

الجولة العاشرة : من مدينة الفضة ، تيزنيت اسم أمازيغي لا ريب فيه تعددت حوله الروايات. فقد عرف المكان الحالي لتزنيت باسم سيدة أمازيغية تحمل نفس الاسم. و يقال إنها بنت من بنات الملوك الامازيغ سميت أحيانا بللا فاضمة تيزنيت وسميت أحيانا بللا زنينية. قدمت من تمدولت ونزلت بالمكان لظروف غامضة وفي زمن لا يخلو من اضطرابات وذكر انها أسلمت على يد عقبة بن نافع. حلت بالمكان هي وكلبها وأدى عطشها الشديد إلى حفر كلبها للعين القديمة التي يطلق عليها في السنوات الأخيرة العين الزرقاء. كما يحكى أنها بنت أقدم مسجد هناك باضلحة أطلق عليه تمزكيدا نداوكفا وعند وفاتها دفنت في جهة القبلة داخل المسجد

Tiznit or Tiznet (Arabic: تزنيت, romanized: Tiznīt; Berber languages: ⵜⵉⵣⵏⵉⵜ, romanized: Tiznit) is a town in the west coast of the Moroccan region of Souss-Massa, founded in 1881 by the sultan Hassan I. It is the capital of Tiznit Province and recorded a population of 74,699 in the 2014 Moroccan census. Jewish silversmiths moved into the town and established its reputation as the center of gold and silver handicraft in Morocco. Tiznit is well known for its silver jewelry, mint, daggers and sabres.
The province of Tiznit is in the western side of the Anti-Atlas. Tiznit, some 80 km south of Agadir, is a strategic crossroads between the mountainous Tafraoute region, the Atlantic coast and the great Moroccan Sahara.
Historically speaking, Tiznit was the starting point of the famous dynasty of Almoravides who came to rule Morocco from Madrasa El Ouaggaguia in Aglou (a coastal village 14 km from Tiznit). The history of the city is also linked to the particular importance the Alawite Sultans granted to the city. Sultan Moulay Hassan I visited Tiznit twice, the first time in 1882 and the second time in 1886.
Among the monuments that characterize the city of Tiznit are Khalifa Palace, El Méchouar Place and the Grand Mosque. The old Medina of Tiznit is enclosed by a wall of five historic gates: Bab Aglou, Bab el Khemis, Bab Targa, Bab el Maader and Bab Oulad Jerrar. All of these gates are of Alawite tradition and strongly resemble those of the city of Essaouira.
Tiznit is the place of manufacture of the finest jewels of the South of Morocco. There are daggers, horse saddles, Fantasia rifles, anklets, pendants that women attach to their chests or foreheads all decorated with semi-precious stones and enamels.
What distinguishes the city of Tiznit is its dynamic civil society. There are more than 200 associations working in a number of areas, particularly development, education, culture, philanthropy, sport, and music; a fact which makes the city the center of a remarkable cultural radiation in the south of Morocco.
Also, Tiznit has a number of public facilities; there are five socio-cultural centers in the city, Mokhtar Soussi Multimedia Library, 10 sport fields for proximity, Almassira Stadium with good grass, Olympic Swimming Pool, Cinema Hall Bahia, road station, Museum of Heritage, Handicraft Complex, 4 rated hotels etc.
The city council of Tiznit is highly hailed by people for the efforts it invests to keep the city a tourist attraction.

La ville est à 16 km de la plage d'Aglou dans l’océan atlantique, plusieurs plages sont facilement accessibles.

La fondation de la ville de Tiznit remonte à 1882 après l’expédition militaire du sultan Hassan 1èr dans la région du Sous. Le besoin de créer cette cité fut dicté par la volonté de planter un poste militaire afin de contrôler l’arrière pays, singulièrement la puissance maraboutique de Tazerwalt (Iligh) et par là même parer à toute pénétration européenne depuis l’atlantique.
le site choisi offre des avantages stratégiques comme la proximité de la côte(15 km) et la situation sur la voie de commerce reliant Essaouira au Sahara . de plus Tiznit fut peuplée par des autochtones et ne nécessitait pas l’apport d’une nouvelle population.
C’est ainsi que ces mêmes groupements d’habitations furent réunis au sein d’une seule enceinte protectrice pour former la ville. La construction de celle-ci pris deux années de travaux financés par les revenues du port d’Essaouira.
Comme touts les grands ouvrages défensifs du Maroc, l’enceinte de Tiznit fut élevé selon le modèle des fortifications des villes marocaines. L’intérieur de la ville offre l’aspect d’un tissu traditionnel répartie selon des quartiers dont les toponymes reprennent ceux des familles d’origine ( Id Ougfa, Aït mohammed, Id Zkri, Id Dalha). Les maisons sont aussi de type traditionnel et rappellent,pour certaines demeures, les grands riades de Marrakech. Parmi les monuments qui caractérisent la ville de Tiznit on trouve le palais du Khalifa (Qasr el khalifi) qui abritait le représentant du Sultan, la place du Méchoir et la grande mosquée.
L’enceinte de Tiznit est une ligne de remparts de 7 km de long et 8 m de haut flanquée de tours au nombre de 56 et percée par cinq portes historiques qui sont :Bab Aglou, Bab el Khemis, Bab Targa, Bab el Maader et Bab Oulad Jerrar .L’ensemble de ces portes est de tradition alaouite et rappelle très fortement celles de la ville d’Essaouira. Les matériau mis en œuvre utilisés pour la courtine sont le pisé et le moellon. Pour les ouvertures des portes on a eu recours à la pierre taillée
