One of the best tourist spots near Manila -Villa Escudero | Full Walking Tour | 4K HDR | Philippines
There are many beautiful tourist spots in the Philippines -from Luzon to Mindanao. But one of the best places to visit that is just 2 hours away from Manila is Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort!
Some info and requirements before going here:
-No need for any negative COVID-19 tests
-Kids of all ages are allowed
-No police checkpoints coming from Manila (via SLEX and San Pablo, Laguna)
-Face masks must be worn at all times when inside the resort
-All they need from you is an advance booking (day tour or overnight). It's really convenient!
-They are open DAILY from Monday to Sunday!

A self-contained working coconut plantation, It was founded in the 1880s by Don Placido Escudero and his wife Dona Claudia Marasigan. Originally planted to sugarcane, the crop was converted to coconut by their son Don Arsenio Escudero in the early 1900s. A pioneering agro-industrialist, he built the country’s first working hydroelectric plant to supply his dessicated coconut factory and Villa Escudero, where he and his wife Dona Rosario Adap built in 1929.
Their children opened the estate to the public in 1981. From its humble beginnings, the resort has become a prime tourist destination for locals, overseas Filipinos and a wide array of foreign visitors to the country. It has a worldwide reputation as a showcase for the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage, offering a beguiling glimpse of its history, cuisine, dress, customs and natural beauty a mere two hours away from Manila.

There are a lots of beautiful places to visit out here in Quezon Province (Philippines) but one the best place is Villa Escudero, this is one of the favorite place to unwind, relax and experience to eat lunch in the buffet waterfall restaurants and you know what it is only 2 hours far from busy Manila. Villa Escudero is located at Tiaong, San Pablo, Laguna Quezon in the Philippines, is a fine hacienda-style resort with cozy rooms and a museum that boasts a large number of weird stuff. But the villa's true attraction is the amazing restaurant at the foot of a small waterfall. Bamboo dining tables and grass-fringed buffet stations are set a few feet away from the cascading waters of the Labasin Falls. Diners enjoy delicious local dishes such as fish, curry meats and rice, as the sparkling water massage their feet. After lunch guests can even lie against the rushing water-covered wall and get wet.
