EXPLORING CEBU CITY TO CONSOLACION, CEBU, PHILIPPINES
Come along on this trip from Cebu City going north on Cebu Island to the town of Consolacion, Philippines. It was a cloudy day but not enough rain to stop the trip by motorbike. We pass by several malls including Parkmall and Pacific Mall in Mandaue as well as Gaisano Grand malls. There are many more bicycles on the roads as there was a shortage of public transportation for about 10 months during the virus lockdown.
TRAVELING PROVINCE ROADS OF CONSOLACION, CEBU BY MOTOR
Traveling off of the main highway on the province roads through Consolacion, Cebu offers unique sites and experiences. One can rent a habal habal motorbike taxi, tricycle driver, or taxi to take you around to view the sites. There are several subdivisions and housing options in the province that are usually much less expensive than in the city proper also. Consolation is about an hour north of Cebu City proper depending on traffic. There are no travel restrictions in place at the present time.

Capitancillo islet is a small coral island (about 600 hectares in size) near Bogo City, Cebu, Philippines. The island is a protected marine sanctuary, featuring three dive sites and a lighthouse. It is a small uninhabited island northeast of Cebu Island in the Camotes Sea. It is 6.1 kilometres (3.8 mi) east of Odlot barangay, Bogo City. Three areas around the island (the Ormoc Shoal, the Nuñez Shoal, and the southwest wall of Capitancillo) are recognized dive sites. Polambato Port, Nailon Wharf, Marangog Cove, and Odlot Hideaway all serve as jumping-off points to the island from Bogo, and the trip takes anywhere from fifteen to 45 minutes. There are no stores nor accommodation available on the island.
The original lighthouse was listed in the Faros Españoles de Ultramar as one of 27 major lighthouses of the Philippines.The Capitancillo lighthouse was built in 1905, with the current white steel tower dating from the 1950s. The tower is 83 feet (25 m) high and flashes three white lights every ten seconds.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Capitancillo Islet is located at the northeastern coast of Cebu province just about 116 kilometers from Cebu City.
You may just ride a bus or vhire going to Bogo City at the North Bus Terminal that would last for approximately 3hrs. and be sure to drop-off at Bogo Proper. Bus fare is ₱160 per head (one-way). Upon reaching the place, you have to ride a pedicab going to Brgy. Siocon Bantay Dagat outpost for less than 30mins. Tricycle fare is ₱25 per head. Then, from this drop-off point, your journey to Capitancillo starts and will last for more or less 45 mins. by boat.

IT Park is a great place to wander whether you're from Cebu or a visitor looking to explore the city. There are numerous activities available, such as shopping and dining.
IT Park is a retail, dining, entertainment, and business mecca, so you'll never be bored. Furthermore, everyone's favorite is Sugbo Mercado, also known as Sugbo Market, is located in IT Park.
This Sugbo Mercado is a location for startup food entrepreneurs to establish and grow their cuisine concepts, thus as you enter the venue, you'll discover that none of the stores are familiar. A few of these entrepreneurs have stalls from other locations, but the vast majority are novices.
I am a frequent visitor to Sugbo Mercado, and I would estimate that there are approximately 30 food stalls there. This establishment is available to people of all ages, and you can even bring your pets.
They’re open every Wednesdays to Sundays from 4PM to 12MN.

This is a new coastal road/ causeway in Tayud Consolacion, Cebu. It connects Laray Road (F.B. Harrison Ave.) to Libo St. Tayud. The causeway measures 850 meters in length and has one lane per direction. It has solar powered lamps, road markings, protection barrier and an unpaved sidewalk of 1 meter.
You can accessed the causeway from Laray Road corner Cebu North Road (if you are going towards Liloan, before reaching SM Consolacion turn right to F.B. Harrison Ave (Laray Road). When you are in Cebu North Coastal Road (Cansaga Bridge towards Liloan), make a left turn in Libo St.
