What To Do in Banting & Tanjung Sepat
What to do in Banting & a bit of Dengkil? We visit the small town of Dengkil to view one of the two last dredging vessels in Malaysia. We then proceeded to the quiet town of Banting and Morib beach. Great place to escape the noise of the city. Places to fish, few beaches (pantai cunang tg sepat) and a lot of local snacks and fruits to pick up along the way. We met members from the Royal Enfield Malaysian Owners Club who were out for a ride and we chatted with them about their club and motorcycles.
We ended our trip at Tanjung Sepat where we visited the qingren qiao local product shop as well as the lovers bridge tanjung sepat local product shop. Good places to pick up local dried seafood and other snacks.
Overall Banting is a town of escape. Its a worthwhile daytrip from KL. Only an hour or so drive from town.

Tanjung Sepat is a fishing town in the Kuala Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. Its coast is on the Strait of Malacca and it is approximately 100kms or two-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Tanjung Sepat is well known locally (especially city dwellers from Kuala Lumpur) for its many seafood restaurants. The most famous dish is the seafood steamboat, steamed buns (aka bao or pau), and the local seafood bak kut teh (pork bone tea).
We covered Tanjung Sepat at a leisurely pace within 5 hours and it makes a good weekend day trip from Kuala Lumpur.

丹绒士拔（Tanjung Sepat）位于马来西亚雪兰莪州瓜拉冷岳县南部沿海，南面滨临马六甲海峡，是个以渔业为主的典型小鱼村。丹绒士拔也有一个称号为长寿村(有者亦称为富贵村)，因村民平均寿命都较为长寿，90岁以上的老村民也不少见。居民多以华人為主，占了90%，村内三大主要姓氏為林氏、謝氏和陳氏。早期的村民多以养猪和鱼民为主，但随着年轻人的外迁打工，现在的丹绒士拔逐渐的发展成为乡村旅游胜地。
Tanjung Sepat is a town in Kuala Langat district in Selangor, Malaysia. It is on the Strait of Malacca. It is a typical fishery-based village. Tanjung Sepat also has the title of Longevity Village , because the average life expectancy of villagers is relatively long, and it is not uncommon for villagers over 90 years old. The residents are mostly Chinese, accounting for 90%. The three main surnames in the village are Lin, Xie and Chen. In the early days, the villagers were mostly pig farmers and fisherman. However, as young people moved out to work, Tanjong Sepat has gradually developed into a rural tourist attraction.

What to do in Tanjung Sepat Ep 1/3
Tanjung Sepat is not exactly the place that will first pop up in the minds of those who seek for good food and fun but it is exactly what this charming fishing town offers. This humble place is easily overshadowed by more famous locations like Sekinchan and Kuala Selangor. It is in this underrated town that you can find sweet and simple pleasures of life that surprisingly leave lasting impression.

Pantai Cunang provides a wide and level beach for you to throw your kite in the air. The sand may be dark but it doesn't matter when you spread a matt amd enjoy the sunset.

The Lover's Bridge is said to be built towards the sea so that the fishermen's spouses can greet them when they return from the sea or send them off work. The newly renovated bridge is so enjoyable that I waited for the night stroll. The breeze unwinds as it caresses. Definitely a romantic walk to take.

When heading to Lover's Bridge, you will encounter a peculiar shop with items that have long passed their time. Try guessing what each item is used for in the olden days.
Day Trip in Tanjung Sepat
On the first day of 2013, we went to Tanjung Sepat for a day trip. Tanjung Sepat is a town in Kuala Langat district in Selangor, Malaysia. It's a fishermen's village and also a fishing town. When we arrivhed the fishing port, which located in the famous Lover's Bridge, the boats is full loaded with the fish (catch of that day) at the morning. It is quite fun to watch them unload the fish from the boat, and shift it to the motorcycle, and deliver it to the village, by using only the Lover's Bridge. We did visit the famous mangrove in Tanjung Sepat. It's a great scenery! Hope to travel there again for any videography if there's any opportunity.

Order 2 plates if you are an O-Chien lover. Ai Yu Ping drink (Ai Yu jelly in honey and lime juice) is a great thrist quencher.
This place has a good view of the Lover's Bridge plus a temple and the quirky Instagram place which is a branch of the Lover's Bridge Local products shop but much better if you love phototaking!
