#SVİLENGRAD (CİSR-İ MUSTAFAPAŞA)
Svilengrad veya Osmanlı döneminde kullanılan adıyla Cisr-i Mustafapaşa (Bulgarca: Свиленград, trl: Svilengrad), Bulgaristan'ın Türkiye (Kapıkule Sınır Kapısı) ve Yunanistan sınırında ve Meriç Nehri kıyısında bulunan, Hasköy iline bağlı bir ilçe merkezidir. Ahalisinin ekseriyeti gümrük ve sınır operasyonları ile ilgili işlerde ve transit yolculara hizmet veren otel, kafe ve barlarda çalışmaktadır.
Meriç Nehri üzerinde bulunan ve Osmanlı döneminden günümüze kadar ayakta kalabilen Mustafa Paşa Köprüsü (M: 1528-29) önemli tarihi yapılardandır.
Edirne Vilayet Matbaası Müdürü Şevket Dağdeviren'in yazdığı 1892 tarihli salnameye göre;
Edirne sancağının bir kazası olan Cisr-i Mustafapaşa kasabasında 9 mahalle ve 1851 konutta 7903 değişik kökenli nüfus vardı. 3 nahiye ve 52 köyde 25902 nüfus barınmaktaydı. O tarihte 5 cami, 21 mescit, 1 medrese, 58 okul, 3 kışla, 1 hastane, 1 hükûmet konağı, telgrafhane, hapishane, belediye dairesi, 2 hamam, 1 eczane ve 1 depo vardı.
Kasabanın içindeki Haseki Sultan adlı cami M: 1560-61 tarihinde yaptırılmış olup kubbeli ve 1 minarelidir.
Selbüken ve Lefke nahiyeleri ile Yatacık köyünde kaliteli tütün üretilirdi. Selbüken nahiyesinde manganez madeni vardı.
Şair ve filozof Rıza Tevfik Bölükbaşı ve Türk bestekar Şefik Gürmeriç Mustafapaşalıdır.

Bulgaria is a culturally rich country with some of the easiest going friendly and hospitable people I have met. The locals opened their homes to me where we shared delicious meals together. I joined in on their annual grape picking day, learned to gut a fish and tasted Rakia for the first time. Kirilovo is a rural village where people live off the land, make their own wine and slaughter their own livestock. Most people have chickens to lay eggs and they pickle veg for the winter. It has been an experience I will remember forever.

Много отдавна искам да направя това пътуване из Сакар. И винаги съм си представяла, че ще е комбинация между дегустация на вино и разходка в планината. Успяхме за няколко дни да се откъснем от града и да отидем до този не чак толкова познат район у нас. И дори отскочихме до Източни Родопи за да посетим Средновековна крепост, Тракийска гробница и още една изба, в която Здравко ни отведе. ????
Успяхме да се качим на най-восокият връх в Сакар планина, но за жалост не ни стигна времето да видим с очите си Долмените край Хлябово. Със сигурност ще дойдем пак!
Изключително съм впечатлена от гостоприемството на всички хора от избите, които посетихме. Благодаря от сърце за топлото посрещане на всички домакини! Разказаха ни много интересни неща за района и виното, което правят с толкова любов.
Ако искате и вие да направите дегустация в някоя изба в Сакар е хубаво да се обадите предварително. Ще оставя линкове към сайтовете на всички изби, които посетихме.
