-Currency in Cambodia: US dollars and Cambodian riel is also allowed to pay. At the ATM, you have the option of withdrawing USD or Riel.

Svay Rieng Province: According to the official of the Provincial Department of Tourism, Svay Rieng Province has 5 tourist sites that people go to visit and are very interested.

The source added that the five tourist sites are:
First, Prey Bassac Temple Resort: Prey Bassac or Prey Prasat is located in Bassac Village, Bassac Commune, Svay Chrum District, Svay Rieng Province, 8.5 km from Svay Rieng Provincial Town. Tourists can travel by car on the concrete road, but during the rainy season, they can also travel on the waterways of the Vaiko River for only 5 km. Prey Bassac covers a total area of 9 hectares, 24 acres and 98 centimeters, bordering the north and east by the Vaiko River, south and west of the village.
In the middle of Prey Bassac, there are two temples, Tuol Prasat and Tuol Kok Sampov. Large bricks. This temple was built around the 6th century in the style of Sambor Prei Kuk, and on the hill of this temple are all stone foundations arranged in layers of laterite and large bricks. The boat-shaped boat is about 25 meters long and 4 meters high, while the sides of the hill are lined with laterite and brick.
Second: Ji Hor Temple: Ji Hor Temple is one of the oldest temples in Svay Rieng Province, located northeast of Svay Rieng Provincial Town, about 58 kilometers. This temple was built during the 6th century (Sambor Prei Kuk style pattern), built on a hill 3 meters high, 50 meters square, along the riverfront on the Cambodian-Vietnamese border. The body of the temple is made of brick and laterite from the east, apart from this, there are all false doors and windows attached to the wall. The main doors, windows, murals and other carvings are all made of burnt clay.
Third: Prey Koki Natural Resort: Prey Koki is a natural resort rich in many Koki trees, located in the community of Chamkar Kon Koki community forest in Trapeang Phlong village, Bati commune, Bavet city, Svay Rieng province and 32 km away. From Svay Rieng provincial town. Tourists can get there in just 30 minutes. There is a large pond in the middle of the forest, with small and large plants growing all over the forest, such as Koki tree, Smach tree, and a bridge for visiting the Akasya forest and a colorful flower garden.
The Prey Korki resort also sells delicious natural food that comes from farmers' supply of vegetables, fish, chicken and duck, making the people there a source of income through the resort.
Fourth: Teuk Vil Natural Resort: Teuk Vil is a natural resort located in Teuk Vil village, Ampil commune, Romeas Hek district, Svay Rieng province, approximately 42 km from Svay Rieng provincial town. Teuk Vil is a family-friendly dam with a large lake that allows guests to take a boat ride and enjoy the lush scenery around the lake, and there are plenty of places for guests to enjoy delicious natural food. From day to day, the resort receives a lot of tourists.
Fifth: Prek Tnaot Bridge is a natural and processed resort that is bordered by Prek Tnaot and connected by Tnaot Bridge (formerly a wooden bridge, now a steel bridge). Tourists can travel from Svay Rieng to the west on National Road No. 1, south of Svay Rieng University, more than 2 km, and this location is on the north bank in Phnov village, Ta Suos commune, Svay Chrum district. Or you can travel along Route 314B west of Svay Rieng city, about 4 km. This location is on the south bank in Russey Prey village, Kampong Chamlong commune, Svay Chrum district as well.
Dinner at Krong Svay Rieng | Cambodia Travel Guide
One of my trip to Svay Rieng province to visit Basac Temple Tourism Site with the Khmer Tourist Family. Its an old temple that's mostly damaged and not a popular place for tourists to visit, but Khmer Tourist Family want to promote Cambodia tourism and bring out what's people's forgotten and hope that people will love it again. After visited Basac Temple, we travel around Svay Rieng Province and had dinner at a small Suki Soup restaurant. We enjoyed Beef Suki Soup with noodle and some fried seafood. Then we traveled back to Phnom Penh city.

Svay Rieng Province Trip with Khmer Tourist Family
We just returned from Kampong Cham province yesterday. We travel today to Svay Reang Province with Khmer Tourist Family to explore the ancient temples and tourist destinations in Svay Rieng Province when people say, there's no place to visit or no temples in Svay Rieng Province. This is the first video showing our trip from home and breakfast and traveling from Phnom Penh on National Highway No.1 to Kandal Province, crossing mekong river via Neak Leung Bridge or Tsubasa bridge to Prey Veng Province and Svay Rieng Province in Cambodia.

BASAC TEMPLE Tourism Site at SVAY RIENG Province
Many people said that they don't believe and never see temples beside Angkor Wat and other temples in Siem Reap Province. BT & MAKARA will travel with Khmer Tourist Family around Cambodia to show the lost and forgotten temples and tourism sites in all the provinces around Cambodia. This video is showing a temple that is almost damaged by natural disaster. It's called BASAC TEMPLE or PREY BASAC TEMPLE built in the 6th Century followed Bakheng Temple and Sambo Preikuk Temples. This temple is located at Basac Village, Basac Commune, Svay Chrum District, Svay Rieng Province. It's about 5km. from Svay Rieng Downtown. We enjoyed lunch at a resting hut and relaxed before visiting the temple. I flew my drone trying to capture the temple from the sky but only see Basac Forest, Village, and Green Rice field around the temple. I hope you like it as I do and spend sometimes to visit ancient temples in Cambodia.

Đạp xe touring tìm về Tà Xăng (Krasang). Một làng quê nhỏ về phía tây bắc của Tây Ninh. Krasang chỉ cách biên giới VN chừng 20km. Khu này là Vườn Quốc Gia Lò gò Xa mát của VN. Có thể đi qua lối cửa khẩu quốc tế Tân Nam vừa mới mở, nhưng nghe nói đường trong vườn Lò gò xa mát khá xấu. Vì vậy mình đi cửa khẩu Xa Mát, rồi chạy vòng xuống lại, sẽ hơi xa môt chút, nhưng đường sẽ dễ đi hơn.
Ngày 1: SGN đi Tây Ninh, Núi Bà đen, Tân Biên, TânLập 135km. Nghỉ đêm tại Tân Lập. (còn cách cửa khẩu Xa Mát 8km). Lộ trình Strava:
Ngày 2: Tân Lập - Xa Mát - Anlong Chrey - Kamchay Mear Cheung - Krasang : 70km. Nhưng do chạy đường tắt sát biên giới VN, vì vậy cự ly chỉ có 64km. Khu vực Krasang có dòng sông thượng nguồn của Prek Kampong Spean, chính là dòng Vàm Cỏ Đông khi chảy vào Việt Nam.

Bavet là một thị xã cửa ngõ quốc tế và là đô thị lớn nhất tỉnh Svay Rieng, Campuchia. Phía bên kia biên giới thuộc Việt Nam là cửa khẩu Mộc Bài, Tây Ninh.
Tên tiếng Việt của thị trấn này là Truông Cát.
Bavet thuộc một trong các tỉnh nghèo nhất Campuchia. Kinh tế khu cửa khẩu này chủ yếu dựa vào vị trí của nó trên tuyến đường NH1, nối giữa Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh và Phnom Penh.
Bavet là một trong những đặc khu kinh tế của Campuchia ở đó có các nhà máy dệt may và xe đạp. Tuy nhiên, hoạt động kinh tế rõ ràng nhất ở đây là casino và đá gà dành cho người Việt Nam. Bavet is an international gateway town and the largest city in Svay Rieng province, Cambodia. On the other side of the border in Vietnam is Moc Bai border gate, Tay Ninh.
The Vietnamese name of this town is Truong Cat.
Bavet belongs to one of the poorest provinces in Cambodia. The economy of this border gate area is mainly based on its location on the NH1 route, connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh.
Bavet is one of Cambodia's special economic zones where there are textile and bicycle factories. However, the most obvious economic activity here is casino and cockfighting for Vietnamese people. There are about 10 casinos and 6 to 7 areas being developed by foreign investors. The city is in a state of development

Neak Loeung (also romanized as Nak Loeung, Khmer: អ្នកលឿង) is a busy commercial town in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. Located on the Mekong and astride National Highway number 1, it is the commune centre for Neak Leung commune and the capital of Peam Ror District. The town can be reached by car ferry from Kampong Phnum in Kandal Province or by boat along the Mekong river.
Due to its strategic location, the town and port of Neak Leung has been a significant battleground at various times in Cambodia's history. In August 1973, during the Cambodian Civil War, Neak Leung was propelled to the centre of international attention when an American B-52 Stratofortress mistakenly dropped its 20-ton load on the town centre.
Neak Leung has grown up at the intersection of several important trade and transport routes. It is located 61 kilometres south east of Phnom Penh on the east bank of the Mekong River. The town straddles National Highway 1, which runs from the capital Phnom Penh to the town of Bavet on the border with Vietnam. National Road 11 begins in Neak Leung and connects the provincial capital at Prey Veng 30 kilometres to the north. This road continues to join National Highway 7 at Thnal Totoung near Kampong Cham town.[2]
A busy market has grown up around the ferry port. There is an abundance of fresh produce available, which includes the products of local farmers and fruits imported from Vietnam by road and river.

Svay Rieng (Khmer: ស្វាយរៀង, UNGEGN: Svay Riĕng [sʋaːj riəŋ], lit. 'The Mango's Range') is a province (khaet) in Cambodia. Located in the southeast, the province juts into Vietnam (Long An and Tây Ninh), which surrounds it to the north, east and south. The only other Cambodian province to border Svay Rieng is Prey Veng. The capital is Svay Rieng while the largest city is Bavet, which is the international border between Cambodia and Vietnam.
