Hoy nos encontramos en Bergen op Zoom, una de las ciudades más antiguas de los Países Bajos. Ubicada a tan sólo dos horas en tren de Amsterdam, esta ciudad, fundada en el siglo XIII, aún preserva numerosos vestigios de sus tiempos de gloria. Como dato curioso, Bergen op Zoom fue fortificada varias veces a lo largo de su historia. En particular, aún se preserva una puerta de la muralla del siglo XIV (Gevangenpoort) que es de hecho una de las puertas más antiguas del país.

The village of Westerbork is located in the northern province of Drenthe in the Netherlands. This is a small village and is renowned for the Westerbork camp. This Westerbork camp was an intermediate concentration camp where the Nazi's held thousands of Jews and Sinti/Roma people as captives during the world war 2 between 1940-1945. In addition to the Westerbork camp, the village Westerbork has also many attractions to visit, for example the paper art museum (museum van papierknipkunst) and the St Stephans church (a gothic style church) dating back to the early 15th century.
During our visit to Westerbork, we saw the st Stephens church from outside and also visited the paper art museum and took a detailed look. Paper art museum is a place where you can see magnificent works of different artists using paper. Namely shadow paper art, insect paper art and portrait paper arts are popular in this museum.

Valkenswaard - Netherlands, Niederlande
A dashcam drive through the small town of Valkenswaard in the Dutch province of Noord Brabant, just 10 km from the Belgian Border. We took a small detour through Dommelen, just outside of Valkenswaard first. Dommelen is famous for its beer...the Dommelsch beer.

The village Hoeven is part of the municipality of Halderberge and is situated in the province Brabant in the South of the Netherlands.

NETHERLANDS: Dolmens in Drenthe (hunebedden D27, D53, D54)
A dolmen is a type of single-chamber megalithic tomb, usually consisting of two or more upright stones supporting a large flat horizontal capstone (table). Most date from the early Neolithic period (4000 to 3000 BC).
Dolmens were typically covered with earth or smaller stones to form a barrow. A barrow is a mound of earth and stones raised over a grave or graves. In many instances, that covering has weathered away, leaving only the stone skeleton of the burial mound intact.
D27 in Borger (province Drenthe) is the largest hunebed in the Netherlands. It is 22,5 metres long.
D53 in Havelte (Havelterberg) is the second largest hunebed in the Netherlands. It is almost 18 metres long.
D54 in Havelte (Havelterberg) is located next to D53.
