Great Norway Expedition 1 in 9:16 Part 1 - Best of South Norway [4K Movie]
The Norway expedition was one of the most exciting and positive experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived in Steningestrand in Sweden, The Norway expedition was an amazing and exciting experience. We started in this Part 1 in Steningestrand, and made our way to Järnsjön Lake. Then we went to Oslo, and finally arrived in Stavern. Rakke was not our final destination, but we were not disappointed. The views from the top of the hill were incredible, and we even got to see Brevik and Kragero in the distance. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great adventure. It was clear that this was going to be an amazing trip. The scenery was incredible, and the people were so friendly and welcoming. Järnsjön Lake was absolutely stunning, and Oslo was a beautiful city with so much to see and do. The Metro was an easy and convenient way to get around, and Stavern was a lovely little town with some great restaurants. Rakke was a bit further away from the main attractions, but it was still a beautiful place to visit. Brevik was another charming harbour, and Kragero was a great place to relax and enjoy the Norwegian countryside. Overall, this was an incredible part of our Norwegian trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering visiting Norway.

Wyprawa do Norwegii była jednym z najbardziej ekscytujących i pozytywnych doświadczeń w moim życiu. One Day in Stavern, Norway - City Tour & Drone, 4k
Stavern is a small but very cozy and beautiful town located on the banks of the Oslo fjord. Until 1930 it was called Fredriksvern and was an important naval base in Norway.
Also nearby on the island is Staverns Fortress. Construction of the fort began in 1677 when Ulrich Friedrich Gyldenløve built a blockhouse with a cannon battery and a stockade on the hill. Further, the fort was expanded and served as a base for the Norwegian naval hero Tordenskiold and his fleet during the final Norwegian stage of the Great Northern War from 1709 to 1720. By the way, the monument to the hero stands on a hill in the city and got into our frame, we recommend visiting it since the observation deck offers a wonderful view of the harbor and city districts!
During the tourist season, Staverns Fortress can be reached from the shore by boat taxi or rented kayak. You can also visit the picturesque Stavernsodden Lighthouse.
Around the city, there are wide and shallow sandy beaches, which is rare for Norway. With clear water, beautiful shells, and the pleasant rustling of the waves.
After a short walk through the forest, you can visit the building of the Hall of Memory (Minnehallen), which is not typical for Norwegian architecture. This is a memorial dedicated to the memory of the Norwegian sailors who died during the First and Second World Wars. It also offers a wonderful view of the fjord and coastal cliffs.
The old part of the city of Fredriksvern is located behind the fortress wall and it is definitely worth taking a walk along with it, as it is also a cozy park.
In general, Stavern is a very touristic city, its permanent population is about 3,000 inhabitants. Due to the climatic features of the resort city, in summer the population of the city increases by more than several times due to tourists coming to this Norwegian Riviera.
And we will definitely come back here in the summer and show you how the city changes with the change of season.

It is a small town where tourism is one of the most important sources of income. During summer, the population increases to around 30,000-40,000 people, due to camping sites and cottages around the town centre as well as boats visiting the harbour.
From the mid-1750s until 1864, Stavern was home to the nation's main naval base located in a shipyard in Fredriksvern.
The town is also home of Hall of Remembrance, a monument dedicated to seamen killed during World Wars I and II

Larvik, Norway - City Tour & Drone, 4k
The city of Larvik is located in the Norwegian district of Vestfold-i-Telemark on the banks of the Larvik Fjord, which flows into the strait between Denmark and Norway - the Skagerrak.
The settlement in the fjord has existed since the 800s, that is, since the time of the Vikings, then it was an important trading port, it was located a little to the east and was called Kaupang.
And to this day, ferries run from the port of Larvik towards the Danish port of Hirtshals. By the way, we managed to catch the departure of the Color Line morning ferry. This is a wonderful sight!
Larvik is also famous for being the hometown of the Norwegian traveler Thor Heyerdahl. We walked through the narrow streets near his house and admired the beautiful doors and architecture. A monument to Thor Heyerdahl is erected on the shore of the Larviksfjorden.
In Larvik, on a wide sandy beach, one of the largest Spa Hotels in Norway, Faris Bad, is located. Its area is 2500 square meters. And tourists from all over the world come here for various wellness procedures!
North of the city on the shores of Lake Farris, the Farisbrua Bridge was completed in 2018. The bridge is part of the E18 route, which in this place takes an elegant bend. Its length is 570 meters. And the height of the bridge supports is 70 meters.
Behind the bridge towards the city, you can see the northernmost beech forest - Bøkeskogen. Leaves on the trees are just beginning to appear because May is early spring in Norway. We will definitely return here in the summer to walk among the majestic trees, some of which are over a hundred years old.
The city is located on the hills and from the hill Mesterfjellet offers a wonderful view of the city and the fjord, we recommend visiting it!
To the south, there are the Golf courses of Larvik Golfklubb, where the grass is already quite green and they look juicy and attractive to the eye of a traveler tired of winter landscapes!
