We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

On 19 May I travelled from Suliny near Żerkowice (near Zawiercie) to Skawina near Kraków. Unfortunately more than half the journey was in thick fog. Fortunately the sun did come out eventually allowing some of the wonderful scenery to be seen!

A Polish Krakowian New Year with a trip to Niepołomice
Returning from the UK, I make a trip down south to celebrate the new year in Poland, heading with friends by car down to Krakow, enjoying much good food, fine drink and plenty of dancing!
Following on from this we take a lovely trip to Niepołomice which is a small city just outside of Krakow to take in some traditional Poland sights!
Brit in Poland is the genuine account of a British Expat who lives in Warsaw, through this account I want to show people what it is like to live abroad, to educate people about the country of Poland, to tell the history of Poland and to show off what this place has to offer, providing guides to locations I have visited and experiences I have taken part in.

Oswiecim, Poland: A Short Drive Through the Oswiecim Old Town
Oswiecim is the town beside the Auschwitz concentration camp.
It's located in southern Poland, 60 km from Krakow and easily accessible by car or public transportation (train).
There is a small old town area in Oswiecim that you can check out although there isn't much else to do in town.
If you're visiting Auschwitz it's worth it to check out Oswiecim if you have the time.

Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!
Around Kraków
This is the first leg of a journey I made on Tuesday 26 May 2009 from Skawina to Kielce. This part shows the journey around Kraków.
Skawina is located to the south west of Kraków and is almost on the southern ring road which is part of the A4 motorway. That part was easy. However there is no nothern ring road and the exit in the direction of Warsaw involves going into the city. But as luck would have it, the jouney went quite easily as you can see!!

I slept the night of 9 - 10 June 2013 at a parking space on the E77 at the top of a hill in Spytkowice. There were quite nice views. I arrived at around 20:00 although I did not do much sightseeing as I was quite tired after the journey and getting up so early the previous day!
Here I take the road towards Kraków although I travel o Skawina which is to the south of the former Polish capital.
Spytkowice has a small population but as can be seen it here it covers a very large area. Around 5km from Spytkowice, the E77 joins the Polish road 47 at Rabka. I was here in May 2012 and filmed it then when I went to the petrol station to buy biofuel. Unfortunately I find out that biofuel is no longer available here!
The E77 towards Kraków is the most dangerous road in Poland, although this I think is due to people acting like fools whilst on their way to their holidays or whilst returning from them. The road today is quite clear, it is a Monday morning and the holiday season has not yet begun. The road follows the river Raba as far as Myślenice. It is a typical mountain river, with narrow valley, rock-covered bed, fast currents and big drops.
The road gets wider as one drives north, it becomes a dual carriageway. I think I could have turned left at Libertów but if so, I missed the turning and ended up on the Kraków ring road which meant an extra 5km or so to travel.
I halt my journey with a six day stay in Skawina! That day there was a flood in the town and it was cut off. Fortunately my van was parked on very high ground!

A journey from Łódź to Skawina in late September. The route taken here is illogical as I go far too far to the east before turning south. The mistake is at the beginning of the film at Rokiciny. Maybe a road was blocked - I can't remember now.

prawie idealna gravelowa pętla (Kraków, Świątniki Górne, Skawina, Kraków)
Kolejna mikro relacja z czwartkowego wypadu w okolicach Krakowa. Miała wyjść gravelowa pętla, ale wkradło się sporo asfaltu. Na szczęście elementy gravelowe na szlakach zrekompensowały odcinki asfaltu. Nie pokazuje wszystkiego na filmie celowo, aby każdy odkrył trasę na swój sposób. Jest tam kilka fajnych zaskakujących elementów, które powinniście odkryć sami ;)
