Sankt Nicolai Kirke is located at a cute square with several historical buildings in the heart of Skælskør. The earliest parts of the church were built in 1200s. It has 3 bells ???? from 1500s and a tower with an iron clock ⏰ from 1770. I am so attracted to little towns, I suppose this is due to the fact that people there do not rush and smile more. I also come from a town the size of Skælskør, maybe this is why I liked this little town so much ????

We learn about Danish sculptor Rudolph Tegner and visit his Museum and Statuepark near Esrum!!
We spend the day visiting the Rudolph Tegner Museum near Esrum. Museum Director Luise Gomard tells us about Rudolph Tegner's background and the creation of the museum and statue park.
It is definitely worth a visit, the park surrounding the museum and the museum itself are just wonderful. We were greeted with blue skies.
Also be sure to keep your eyes open when walking around Helsingør as a number if his works are scattered around town, like the one pictured in the thumbnail!
We also had a quick stop at the Fuglepark to pet some snakes and ended the day with some beer in Hundested. It is nice to have things open up in Denmark again!
