MSC Bellissima Rescue at Sea
A 55-year-old woman had a life-threatening illness and had to be airlifted off of MSC Bellissima by an Italian military helicopter.

Today, Thursday 30 May, an HH-212 helicopter from Decimomannu's 80th CSAR Center ( Combat Search and Rescue ) intervened to help a US woman suffering from serious illness on the MSC Bellissima cruise ship.
The intervention of the military aircraft, which took off around 9:00 from the Sardinian military base, was necessary to allow the patient, a 55-year-old woman in imminent danger of life, to be able to reach the nearest hospital in the shortest time possible. Once they reached the cruise ship, which was located about 40 miles south of Capo Carbonara and was headed to Spain, the rescuers turned on by lowering the winch and thus allowing immediate embarkation of the patient on board the military aircraft. 118 medical personnel took part in the rescue operations, providing assistance during all the transport phases.
Landed shortly after 10 on the landing pad of the Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari, the woman was immediately subjected to the appropriate health care.
This morning's transportation, requested by the Cagliari Prefecture , was coordinated by the Italian Air Operation Center ( IT-AOC ), the operational structure of the Air Operations Command which is responsible for supervising, coordinating and approving operational flight activities daily for all the Armed Forces and Armed Corps of the State.
The 80th CSAR Center is one of the Departments of the 15th Air Force Wing that guarantees, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without interruption, the search and rescue of troops in difficulty, competing , moreover, to activities of public utility such as the search for missing persons at sea or in the mountains, the emergency medical transport of the sick in danger of life and the rescue of serious traumatized, operating even in marginal weather conditions.
From its establishment to today, the crews of the 15th Wing have saved more than 7300 people in danger of life or in conditions of serious difficulty.

CERTOSA DI PAVIA | ANDREA CONGIU- DRONEXPERIENCE-
La costruzione realizzava un progetto che derivava dal voto emesso sotto forma di testamento nell'anno 1390 dalla seconda moglie di Gian Galeazzo, Caterina Visconti, figlia di Bernabò Visconti e di Regina della Scala. La prima gravidanza di Caterina Visconti era andata male: una figlia era nata e morta nel giugno 1385. La coppia fece voto alla Madonna di dare ad ogni figlio nato il secondo nome Maria. Nel 1388 nacque Giovanni Maria che sopravvisse. All'approssimarsi di un nuovo parto l'8 gennaio 1390 Caterina fece voto di costruire una Certosa presso Pavia se fosse sopravvissuta alla nuova per lei terribile esperienza. Nacque un bambino che però morì, ma Caterina si salvò e mantenne il voto[8]. Successivamente, nel 1392, nacque un nuovo figlio maschio, Filippo Maria.
Questa precisa informazione ci giunge da Bernardino Corio che nel suo L'Historia di Milano del 1503, scriveva: «et giunto l'anno mille trecento novanta a punto, a gli otto di genaro, Caterina mogliera di Giovan Galeazzo, Conte di Virtù, votandosi sotto forma di testamento, ordinò che in una Villa del Pavese, dove spesse volte andava, si dovesse fabricare un monasterio di Certosini con dodici frati, et in caso di parto morendo, pregò il marito che volesse adempire tali ordinationi raccomandandogli la sua famiglia specialmente i fratelli et le sue sorelle».[9]
Il progetto di costruzione della Certosa fu affidato a Bernardo da Venezia e Cristoforo da Conigo, che presiedettero ai lavori fino alla morte del duca Gian Galeazzo, sopraggiunta nel 1402. La cerimonia della posa della prima pietra fu celebrata solennemente alla presenza del Duca e di molti professori e studenti dell'Università di Pavia il 27 agosto 1396.
Durante la prima fase dei lavori, i monaci risiedettero nell'antico castello di Torre del Mangano e nel Castello di Carpiano (o Grangia), uno dei tanti territori lasciati ai monaci da Gian Galeazzo, per poi occupare gli ambienti conventuali, i primi ad essere edificati. Gian Galeazzo Visconti donò alla Chiesa anche le cittadine di Binasco, Magenta, Boffalora e San Colombano, nel 1397 anche Selvanesco e Marcignago, e nel 1400 anche Vigano[10]
Secondo l'ipotesi di Luca Beltrami i primi sostegni dei chiostri, in attesa di più dignitose soluzioni architettoniche, furono piloni quadrati in laterizio. Le funzioni religiose venivano provvisoriamente celebrate nel refettorio, l'unico ambiente dalle dimensioni adatte per accogliere l'intera comunità dei Certosini, fatta di monaci e fratelli conversi.
